Installed on a ZrX1200R.
It was installed at the same time as the Nisshin radial master, but I could not install it because of interference with the lever, so I replaced it with ZETA's PilotLever.
It was installed successfully.
Also, a separate mounting kit is required for installation, but since I was using a handlebar weight and wanted to use it, I made my own Holder color and installed it.

Lever Guard Installation

I purchased this for Handlebar vibration reduction and lever protection.
At first it was difficult to tell which product could be installed.
I was confused, but in the case of Grom, the OEMHandlebar
Lever Guard is a special type of bolt that is inserted into the handlebar.
If you are using a different handlebar, you need to select and purchase a locking spacer of the correct size for the inner diameter of the handlebar. You can choose the thickness and shape of the lever guard except for exclusive products.
I purchased the 8mm thick one. Installation was easy.
The instruction manual was also good and easy to understand.
If there is interference, there is a Spacer made by the company that can be used.

Functional and no waste.
As mentioned in the description section, this Guard is Material:Plastic and supple to some extent.
They can break in the event of a fall, but that's about as strong as it gets.
This is because if the handlebar is made of gold like other manufacturers and is too sturdy, the impact will be transmitted directly to the handlebar when it comes into contact with another vehicle, causing the handlebar to shake violently and lead to a fall.
The flexibility of the product is well thought out to absorb some of the shock.
Then the fixation force is also firm.
Of course, if the Lever Guard is not strong enough to hold the gap in place, the gap will fall out due to vibration or slight force applied during driving, and the Guard will be meaningless.
The R&G and Babyface Lever Guard I used in the past were so weakly fixed that they were unusable.
(Perhaps this has now been improved.)
Another good point is that this product is also bar weight from the beginning. This may be good for touring use as it reduces unnecessary vibration to some extent.
My only concern is that when it breaks, it sometimes breaks sharply.
Naturally, it would be better if they were removed or replaced immediately, but if this is not possible due to the situation and the car must be driven, it is not good for the car to be driven with sharp points on it.
We would like to see a few more improvements in this area.
