Torque up from low speed.
I was surprised when I test drove it after installation because the Torque was up from low RPM.
However, the Torque does not come out aggressively, but rather gently assists acceleration.
I wonder if this is what Tadao's developers were aiming for. I think so.
Type 5 is said to have dared to give a thumping feeling like the former Carburetor model, but after installing the PowerBox, the vibration has become a little Mild. (This also seems to be Tadao's aim in developing this model.)
This would make long distance travel easier. However, some people may find it lacking.

Power is awesome! And Smooth up to 6th gear is amazing!!!
I felt that the new Inner type was a good fit for my riding style.
In addition, the larger exhaust pipe increases the volume of the engine room, giving it a high-end feel.
However, as a precaution, it competes with the lower type exhaust pipe.
I could not put it on without removing the DAYTONACrash Bar that I just recently put on.
Not only DAYTONA, but anything that is attached to the bottom of the Engine is likely to interfere.
So I went back to Engine slider.
However, the driving is to my liking, and it pulls hard from low speed to 5th gear.
And on the highway, you can see that it is revving for good fuel economy.
When I took delivery of my REBEL250, I had the dealer change to SP Tadao's Exhaust pipe (Box external type), and I felt that the change from 1st to 2nd gear with Torque fully was smoother than when I was riding NORMAL with Len Barrel. On the other hand, I had changed the Exhaust System from OEM to SP Tadao, and I had to change the GEAR to 2nd gear as soon as possible because the 1st gear is not so easy to use Image, and it does not increase from 15km/h. I had to change the GEAR to 2nd gear as soon as possible because it does not increase from 15km/h.
With the inner type we purchased this time, the engine displacement volume has been changed to a large volume, and the change from 1st to 4th gear is smoother and more powerful. I feel that I am able to cope with the relatively low GEAR, and I feel that I do not feel the powerlessness of 250cc anymore.
When the car was delivered, only the exhaust pipe was SP Tadao and the silencer was OEM.
At this point I thought the toco sound was better and the low speed was more stable.
I had been driving a NORMAL car at Len Barrel a lot before delivery and was impressed with the change.
Next, Silencer was also changed to SP Tadao.
The sound is quieter, but even more pleasant, and then I feel more stable at high speeds.
And now Inner type Exhaust pipe and SP Tadao's Silencer.
The first thing I felt when I had the changes made during the test drive was that the sound during Idling became unstable. I was kind of worried that it might stall if left alone, and I thought this would not be a good result. However, there was also a toot-toot feeling that was not there with the old Type Exhaust pipe, and I thought I liked this.
When I actually started driving, I found that the low gear I had been dissatisfied with was gone, and I thought it was very powerful. I want to pull about 20 km/h in low gear, but with the old type, I had given up after about 15 km/h. With the inner type, however, I can pull. But with the Inner type, it is possible to pull it. And while increasing the speed, it is possible to drive smoothly even at about 50Km/h in 4th gear. I was a little concerned about the vibration of the engine at low speeds, but at about 60Km/h in 5th gear, the car was running very smoothly, and I was pleasantly surprised at how much room I had left.
My personal impression is that the old type is suitable for those who do not drive so fast in daily use and use 3rd to 4th gears as main, while the inner type is good for those who frequently go on tours and use highways.
I would recommend the Inner type for those who want to run with low speed GEAR while pulling.

Spec. is for SCORPION Exhaust System but with AKRAPOVIC Slip-on Silencer.

It was necessary to buy an additional Nut on the Bolt for the Stay fixation of the intermediate Pipe suspension.
It is 1pc. of 10mm Pitch 1.25 fine Screw Nut, I bought it at Homsen.
The inside diameter of the connection on the Silencer side is 61.5Φ the same as the OEM.
Therefore, a slip-on silencer with a gasket can also be used.
However, the Gasket will not fit cleanly unless the caliber is fine-tuned.
An OEM Heat Guard can also be installed.
Slight adjustment of the Screw position was necessary here as well.
Large processing is not necessary, but a little ingenuity and processing is required.

I installed it with FMF and it seems to have increased low speed!
Both db’s Silencer and I installed OK!
However, since the chamber section has increased, the right foot seems to be a little hotter than the OEM exhaust pipe.

As shown in Image. Clearly, the bore diameter is larger than the OEM and the exhaust efficiency seems to increase.
Was the installation difficult?
Installation is not difficult, just remove the OEM exhaust pipe and install a new gasket.
It is even better to have a precision tool and raspene ready to prevent lapping the FlangeMounting Bolt when removing the OEMExhaust pipe.
When installing FCR Carburetor Body-MXΦ37etc.FCR Carburetor BodyLarge body carburetor, it is necessary to recess the exhaust pipe as shown in the photo because the acceleration pump diaphragm part interferes with the carburetor.
KFACTORY's mid pipe was installed without any problems.
How was your experience with it?
The exhaust efficiency is definitely better than the OEM, and the driving performance is much better.
The above is a natural result because the exhaust pipes are larger than the OEM exhaust pipes that are often used before the D Tracker regulations.
We tried several Silencers, but the best combination was the KX-F Silencer.
In the middle of using the carburetor, we replaced the OEM carburetor with FCR Carburetor Body-MXΦ37, and the compatibility was good and the performance was further improved.
After about 4 years of use, when the KX -FSilencer was damaged, we replaced it with FMF's Power Bomb + Q4Silencer, but this product's running performance was only slightly inferior. (I felt that FMF had better driving performance.)
I remember that it was a good exhaust pipe that was easy to remove burns.

Torque will increase.
The silencer was a GruidRide Thailand coon, and the intake diaphragm was removed for full power, and the adjustable fuel conditioner was set to +4.
When I changed from the normal exhaust pipe, the torque increased and the sound became a little quieter. However, you may feel some heat in the right leg due to the expansion chamber sticking out.
You can tell when you are riding in it, but if you buy it and put it in right away, you may not notice any changes.
Please be aware that this is the only change you can expect. However, the effect is definitely there, so if you feel that even a slight performance increase is a very large change due to the 250cc engine displacement volume, I think it is a good buy.
At 25,000 yen, it's not that expensive, so if you want to make your vehicle as fast as possible, I think it's the right choice.
External exhaust systems are usually too large and lose torque in the low to mid RPM range, but this product increases torque in the low to mid RPM range without losing power in the high RPM range.
If you want more power but less noise, this is a recommendation because it is quieter than the normal exhaust pipe.
This is not my story, but I have heard that exhaust leaks may occur depending on the silencer you use, so you may want to check this out carefully.

Before I bought this product, I was a cheap Chinese intermediate pipe. (It costs about 4,000 yen at a certain NetShop.) I had purchased and installed a
However, it didn't look good and the silencer didn't click well. In addition, the joint with the OEM sub-silencer leaked exhaust because the OEM gasket could not be used, which was just as bad as the price.
In the end, I was not convinced and decided to buy the intermediate pipe from K-Factory, knowing that it was expensive.
It looks good, is well made, and uses OEM gaskets for the joints, so there are no exhaust leaks. It may seem expensive at 30,000 yen for an intermediate pipe, but the quality is second to none.
If you are concerned about the clearance between the Tandem Footpeg and the exhaust bracket, or if you want to use the exhaust bracket, I recommend that you relocate the Tandem stay.
