【SCORPION】Intermidiate Pipe (without Catalizer) Review
Fits: KAWASAKI Ninja ZX-636, KAWASAKI Ninja ZX-6R
I thought it would sound good enough for anyone who wants this.
I put it on a 2014 ZX-6R.
Spec. is for SCORPION Exhaust System but with AKRAPOVIC Slip-on Silencer.
If you want this kind of intermediate Pipe, I'm assuming you want that kind of sound.
I'm sure you'll be happy with the sound. (Lol)
I added a baffle because the size was too large for my taste.
If you are talking about catalyzer, there is no catalyzer on the exhaust manifold side. (honeycomb) Since there is a
Isn't it different from Catalyzer Can Sera-? I guess...
Naturally, it does not correspond to Japanese Vehicle Inspection.
It was necessary to buy an additional Nut on the Bolt for the Stay fixation of the intermediate Pipe suspension.
It is 1pc. of 10mm Pitch 1.25 fine Screw Nut, I bought it at Homsen.
The inside diameter of the connection on the Silencer side is 61.5Φ the same as the OEM.
Therefore, a slip-on silencer with a gasket can also be used.
However, the Gasket will not fit cleanly unless the caliber is fine-tuned.
An OEM Heat Guard can also be installed.
Slight adjustment of the Screw position was necessary here as well.
Large processing is not necessary, but a little ingenuity and processing is required.

I feel Torque is getting thicker.
This is only an impresario on the premises, as it is not allowed to be driven on public roads.
Surprisingly, I feel that Torque has become thicker and easier to ride.
The Silencer is still set to NORMAL, so it does not look any different, but the sound is a little louder.
As mentioned in other impressions, the OEM Heat Guard hole position (in the middle) does not fit.
The welding seemed solid, so I gave it a little work and it fit. (Again, at your own risk.)
Naturally, the appearance does not change, but considering Silencer's price, I am satisfied.

A little modification is needed to attach the Heat Guard!
Installed on a 2022 ZX6R. The middle pipe itself is easy to install, the OEM exhaust pipe side is installed with a liquid gasket since the OEM gasket will not fit. The silencer side is exacty with the OEM gasket. The bracket to be installed on the body is also without modification and fits with the OEM bolt, but no nut is included.
The problem is that the Heat Guard does not go on as is. The bottom two bolts fit, but the bracket that holds the guard on the top side has a gap of about 1cm on the front side, so I bent the bracket with pliers and installed it.
Sound became louder below 6000.

Fair enough; quieter than M4GP.
It is on 21MODEL.
The sound from Idling to 7000 RPM is fatter than the OEM lunchbox.
After 7000 RPM, it may be LARGE and the same as the OEM lunchbox? It seems quieter than when I had a straight M4GP tube.
As for the sound change, the characteristics of the Titaniumium silencer seem to have been emphasized more. (More dry high frequencies are emphasized)
As for the sound, I am satisfied.
However, the Bolt hole position on the Heat Guard did not match, as is to be expected since it is made overseas.
We had no choice but to bend the Heat Guard by force to fit the position and set it.
Also, there is no Bolt nut to hold the Exhaust Bracket, so I purchased one at Home center.
Also, both in-outs are thicker in diameter and quite Tight.
It was necessary to slightly widen the exhaust pipe connection with Pliers.
The positional relationship with the exhaust pipe and silencer is the same as OEM, so we are happy to hear that they are perfectly aligned.
Good appearance as it is clean and polished. Welds are messy but clean.
Overall, I can recommend it.
