Boning is not possible.
I was hesitant because the OEM Product is still out there, but I bought it because it is almost 5,000 yen cheaper.
But the mounting Pitch is different. (Short.) Therefore, some ingenuity is required to install the bracket. I bought an appropriate bracket at a hardware store.
The quality looks solid and appears to be fine for what it is.
Incidentally, the existing regulator had a burnt out connector. We recommend replacing the regulator with a new one for those who have not replaced it due to its age.

It was replaced after 30 years without replacement.
The mounting part and the plug cord need to be modified because of the large size difference of the coils.
The fire seems to have become stronger and the overall Torque seems to have increased.
I have been using it for a little over a year and it works well.

Old Car Restore
I used it on my old car Restore. The model is XJ400Z, but I think it can be used for FZ400R.
Original purchased this product after the Connector melted and was ruined.
Voltage is stable at around 13.5v.
The fins are also large enough to provide adequate cooling.
It would have been better if it was within 10,000 yen, but it can't be helped.

Idling at a stop was stabilized.
We purchased it for our MAJESTY 125, which we bought used and has been in use for about 2 years.
For the past two months, I have been suffering from idling problems when stopping and engine stop when starting, and I have narrowed down the problem to two options, battery or regulator, and purchased this product.
The result was a success, the Idling was stable after installation of this product, and there has been no stalling since then.
The results are satisfactory, but some knowledge is required to remove the cowl during installation.
Also, "Performance boosting." Not the product. We'll make sure it's as close as we can get to what it was." Since it is a commodity, we do not know if others are necessarily satisfied with the replacement.
So, to be honest, there may not be many people who purchase the product.
However, if your Idling is not stable like mine, or if you stall the car even though it is an AT car, I would recommend replacing it.

The GelBattery I bought last year was swollen and the Blinker was acting strangely, so I replaced the Regulator which had been feeling abnormal heat for a while.
The Fixing Screw interfered with other Screws during installation, so it is fixed with Needle Gold for now. The model is 1JK.

Puncture in less than a year
I was expecting this regulator to be a good choice because it has a Heat Radiation Fin, but it's just another brand product.
However, I think it would be good to have it as a spare Parts, as a good luck charm. Since it is an old Motorcycle, it is nice to have the Parts.

Expensive shoddy stuff!
I got a really bad shoddy product! After this CDI installation, the battery was replaced with a new one from Japan. I did all the work as described in the product description, including measuring the charge voltage, but it took about 1.5 years and less than 300 km to finish. When I checked the operation of the YPVS, it was not working at all because it was not blowing up well at high rpm. I turned the engine to over 8000 rpm many times, but the YPVS was not working at all. After replacing the CDI with the original one that was removed from the car, the car started to run beautifully without any stress. I paid a lot of money to replace the stock CDI, which was over 30 years old, with a new one before I had any trouble on the road, but all I got was an inferior product and a lot of stress. The product description says “Self-cleaning at startup does not start”, but at first the YPVS works when the switch is turned on. However, the YPVS would move when the switch was turned on at first, but then it would move or not. I thought it was strange, but then I found the above symptom. I contacted Webic, but they said they had no information from the manufacturer”, “, “, “, “, “, “, “, “, “, “, and that they cannot return the product. 。 I was fooled by lines such as “increased torque and high rpm extension can be expected” and “original performance plus α can be obtained”etc. I later noticed that others had posted that the “ worked fine after installation” but that it had been several years since it had worked properly. I later realized that some of the other postings had “worked fine” after installation, but none of them had “worked fine” and ended after a few years. Struggled to install
I purchased this product because it could be installed on a Z750LTD, but the pitch of the bolt fixing the regulator did not match, so I fixed the bolt only on one side and modified the other side for installation.
The connector shape fits, but the TAB and receptacle are loose or easily come off, so I use a Tie Band to hold it in place.

Parts cost is cheap, so let's change it.
Since the vehicle is old, we changed the oil pump seal and other parts while performing OH on each part of the vehicle.
It is not available from Manufacturer only in this part here, but you can buy it only in this Seal.
Worst case scenario, the Engine breaks, so changing a part that costs a few hundred yen makes a difference in my mood!
If you haven't done Engine in a while, you should change the vehicle with the White Smoke Moke Moke.
It is not a difficult task if you can bleed air from the oil pump.
