Expanding pad areaLarge, expected to be used for Life
I replaced the Brake Pads on my 2000 XL883XL1200C SPORTSTER 1200. I bought this vehicle used, and I liked the touch of the pad that was considered NORMAL from the mileage, so I wanted to use OEM pad if possible, but I chose DAYTONA pad considering the delivery time. However, when I actually installed it, I was satisfied with Large because it was a fee ring that I liked as well as Normal. The price is the same as the ReplacePad for domestic cars, so I think the cost performance is also excellent. View detail

Cost-effective
I was worried about putting a UniversalPad that fits various SmallEngine Displacement VolumeMODELs on my Racer KLX230R, but I bought it because it was cheaper than KawasakiOEM by a LARGE margin and because it was in stock. I was not sure if I would be able to find any severe touch or not because it is off-road, and I thought it would be no problem at all. My running style is to use Rear a lot, so I feel this cosmetic is rather attractive. View detail

Bore up and Brake well.
I raised the Engine Displacement Volume to 88cc by bore up above the waist, but the Brake Shoe was the Enhanced Version of 50cc, and I felt that it did not have enough braking power, especially in the Rear. I decided to go with the OEM90 brake because I felt that a brake that was more in line with the Engine Displacement Volume would be better.
[Brake Shoe What is
A part that presses against the moving body to stop the motion when braking.
[What happens to the Brake Shoe when it is reduced?
If the brake lining is worn away, the gold part of the brake shoe will come into direct contact with the brake drum, causing damage to the brake drum. 。 Under these conditions, Brake becomes unstable and very dangerous.
How long will Motorcycle's Brake Shoe last?
Fat Material:Rubber products (Tire, Brake Shoe) and others are subject to severe deterioration over time and should be replaced after about 2 years.
Procedure Rear]
(1) Disassembly of Brake
First, disassemble the area around the Brake Adjust Nut, which is hidden behind the Exhaust System.
Since there are many small parts, put them in a parts tray or the like to avoid losing them.
Next, disassemble the TorqueLINK area, straightening and pulling out the TorqueLINK cotter pin (split pin) that prevents the TorqueLINK nut from falling out. You can get the cotter pin at home centers as well as at motorcycle supply stores, so replace it with a new one instead of reusing it. (Size is 1.6×20mm)
Remove the Axle Shaft.
First, straighten the split Pin leg and pull it out.
Depending on the year and model of the SUPER CUB or LITTLE CUB, there may be a case where the Axle Shaft and the Exhaust System interfere with each other. If you see it from the side, remove the Exhaust System or loosen the Bolt and shift it. 19mm Glasses Wrench is used to loosen the Axle Shaft. The Axle Shaft will rotate together, so apply a 14mm Glasses Wrench to the opposite side to prevent the shaft from rotating together. Since the axle shaft is tight, it is easier to apply force by holding the rear tire of the CUB in a position as if you were holding the rear tire of the CUB, although this may seem odd. When you have reached this point, you can finally pull out the axle shaft. If the shaft is too hard to pull out, use pliers to make it easier to pull out.
The collar between the Tire and Swing Arm should also be removed before it rolls away.
After removing the collar, the rear wheel can be removed. It is easy to remove the rear wheel by rocking it back and forth while pulling it slightly toward you.
Removal of ?Brake Shoe
The CUB uses a drum brake called the Leading Railing type. The Brake Shoe can be installed on either the front or the back side, but the wear on the leading side and the trailing side will change. Pull it outward as hard as you can. This is a forceful technique, but there is a hang to it as well:instead of applying force evenly to both sides, concentrate the force on one side at a time.
Drum brakes are more prone to the accumulation of garbage than disc brakes, so it is recommended to clean them with parts cleaner or dustcloth while disassembling.
Installation of ?Brake Shoe
Before assembling the Brake Shoe, apply universal grease to the Cam section. 。 If it adheres to the liner, braking power may be reduced, so please apply a thin coat instead of a large amount. 。 Once the all-purpose grease is applied, install the shoes. (When installing the shoes, it is easier to install one side at a time. 。 After assembling the Brake Shoe, move the Brake Arm to confirm that it operates Smoothly.
good point
◎BrakeTouch is soft and works well.
It is for ◎90 (strictly speaking, 85cc), so there is no sense of overwork.
◎This is a MODEL that is no longer manufactured, but we are thankful that it is available.
Durability due to ◎OEM.
◎ Less squeak than a certain Manufacturer's reinforced Brake Shoe (lol).
A bad point
▲Large strange that there are many work processes before taking out → replacement (laugh).
However, I am glad to have replaced it.
The brake is designed to match the engine displacement volume, and the development design has been tested thoroughly, so there's no doubt about it.
I'm afraid of myself running (laughs).
Also, this can be used for CUB PRESS!

At first I was puzzled by the difference in Touch.
I was happy with the OEM Nisshin so far, but since the Caliper is brembo, I thought it would be better than what I have now. I bought it because I thought it would be better than what I have now.
I am not a fan of snaps and touches, so I was a bit confused at first, but I thought the Lever ratio 18 would be good for control. I would like to try various things with Winding when the road surface temperature rises a little more.

Genuine Brembo 17RCS Corsa Corta Master Cylinder
One of my customers is going to out this bike on the track so I went to work on the braking system. One of the first things I wanted to change was the annoying stock master cylinder. Obviously, Brembo was the way to go. I decided on this one as it fitted with the specs of the bike in mind. Finding the correct master cylinder was not hard but there were a few choices but I went for this one, the 17RCS Corsa Corta in the end. It had all the requirements I needed so it went in my basket. I had a few other parts and the shipping was reasonable for what I had. EMS got my order to me in 5 days. The master cylinder came with the standard stock lever length which was perfect for my needs. It is the 18 x 20 one so works good with teh floating calipers on the bike anyway. It came in the Brembo box and also came with a few copper washers. I had already sourced the HEL line that would make this all work. The master cylinder is a real piece of kit and fitted really well with the bike and the instrument cluster I was leaving in situ. Not a hard job once you have all the parts together. This master cylinder is awesome and so much better than the stock one. Oh and by the way, looks the nuts. There are just so many adjustments that you can definitely find the right setting for your liking. I do like the 18 ratio and H pivot setting. Very pleased with this part. Thanks Webike for the great service you provide. View detail
Not enough for use in Circuit
I replaced it with Gicu Ceramic sintered at the same time and used it on Circuit, and Judder appeared at full break in about 5 minutes after break in.
I don't know if it was incompatible with the Pad, but I was too scared to hold the Brake.
Then I switched to OEMPad and it was almost a non-issue.
However, since the thickness is 4mm, we decided to replace it with a 5.5mm one, considering the future endurance race and other factors.

I would have liked to have blacked it out.
I used to use the same size Stainless Steel color at the entrance of Caliper, but I decided to change it to Black color to match the Black color of brembo's Caliper. I am satisfied with this change, even though it is only for appearance. View detail
