Buy XL over One size
I am 172cm 69kg and I bought one size up XL after much consideration. The imprementation is a comparison with size L. First of all, the L fits almost perfectly. If you wear it as it is, the L is smart, stylish, and nice. However, when I tried on the XL, it was just as OK. It is exactly one size too big, a little bit loose, but not to the point where it feels weird. If you wear a Comine chest and back protector inside, the XL is definitely better. I was able to avoid pigeon chest. Also, with the L, my back would stick out when I leaned forward, but the XL seems to work fine. In the picture, it looks the same in L or XL, but in reality it is definitely different, and yet not too different, which is exquisite. Even though it is one size larger, the fabric is firm, so I don't think it will flap around at street level speeds. View detail
best in spring and autumn
I was looking for a new winter coat, and I considered T-GP and S-TP, and tried them on, but they were very tight when I put on Inner and bent my arms or rode in a riding position, so I decided not to buy them. On the other hand, this SMX has moderate elasticity and I decided to buy it immediately. The Velcro around the neck is a minus point, but it is one of the products I am glad I bought. View detail

Stylish.
The texture is as expected from Alpinestars. As the product name says "Asia", the size is just right for Japan. 172cm, 69kg, L size is almost JUST right for me.
The design is good and you will feel comfortable even if you wear it in the city. It looks Casual, but it is not suitable for midsummer because it is thick like a Riding jacket. I think it can cover from a slightly cooler season to a warmer season.
The shoulder and elbow protectors are soft, but the chest and spine protector are sold separately, so I tried Komine's chest spine protector (su Pulley Body) on inside. It is possible to wear it when riding, but it is too pigeon breasted. It is still better to use a special Protector because it is not suitable for walking in the city.
I was a little concerned about the back of the jacket when I leaned forward compared to a typical Riding jacket.
In any case, I think Alpinestars have a parenthesis quality that Japanese riding jackets, which are inevitably more geeky, do not have, and I like them very much. It is indeed Italy.

It can be used for everyday wear.
I wore it and ran early in the morning in early April.
I wore a long T-shirt underneath, but it was 8 degrees Celsius, so it was cold.
It is thin and allows wind to pass through moderately.
I like the design.
good point
It is comfortable to use in everyday wear.
It is very lightweight even when fitted with Protector.
The lining is Mesh so it won't get stuffy and is easy to put on and take off.
The simple design will suit a variety of car models.
What's on my mind
The fabric is thin, so when driving over 100km/h, the arm section flops around and makes my arms itchy. I'm a skinny guy, so people with thick arms won't mind.
Fastener on the sleeve is hard to close (squishy and hard to close)
The outer fabric is rough and a bit cheap.
The Protector that comes with it is squishy and not very reliable. (It is light, so it is used as it is.)

Stylish! But functional!
It is so fashionable that it is hard to believe that it is a riders jacket.
The inside chest pocket has a waterproof zip& and is wide and functional. The front chest pocket is small and might be better to be considered as a decoration.

having thin arms
The arms are thin when matched to Waist and Bust.
Thick fleece or down will be too tight.
In spring and fall, InnerDown only, with temperature control. Midwinter is impossible.

BatesNylonParka
This is the first time I have purchased a product from Bates.
I was looking for a Jacket for fall/winter and found a Sale item and was torn between size L or M. I decided on L based on the size chart.
My Size is 165 cm tall and 60 pounds, and I am a skinny guy.
It is a little too large, but it does not interfere with motorcycle riding.

Lightweight and waterproof
I chose size XL to wear over a L size Jacket, and it is just right without any tightness or flapping.
Design was not bad for Rough & Road, if anything it was good and I liked it, so I bought it.
JacketBody is lightweight, so I will use GunGun as a windproof and waterproof jacket all year round.
I actually got rained on for about 3 hours and the inside of the Jacket did not flood, but the Pocket under the Left was flooded, so you might not want to put anything in there that you don't want to get wet.
I think it would be tough to use it alone in mid-summer or mid-winter. In summer, it can be used when it rains. In winter, it would be better to wear Inner and Jacket, and put on this Jacket at the end.
The sewing is a little delicate in places, but nothing fatal, so I guess it's okay.
The balibali at the neck came in contact with the chin curtain of the helmet and frayed slightly, but this would not have been a problem if we had checked where it would hit beforehand and dealt with the problem Level.
There are adjustable belts to prevent flapping in places, so the fit can be adjusted to suit you.
Generally satisfied with Large

for winter use
I was looking for a winter Jacket in Large size.
I bought it because there was a Large size left at the time of purchase.
Black HONDA embroidery in Black on Black front and back is good.
The HRC Logo on the back and chest would also stand out.
The removable Winter Inner is also warm and easy to use.

Depending on the Layer, it could be used in the middle of winter.
I don't ride in the rain, so I don't know how waterproof it is, but the wind protection is perfect. I wore Uniqlo's Ultra lightDown and HeatTEC inside and rode lightly for about 30 minutes in a temperature of about 5 degrees Celsius, but it was not cold at all. I think it can be used for winter touring if you use electric heaters. On the other hand, it might be hot in May.
The shoulder, elbow, and back protectors all fit into the detachable mesh inner, so when you want to park the motorcycle and walk light, you can simply remove the inner and the entire protector (a box is required for storage). However, the ProtectorPocket has a narrow entrance, 10cm for the shoulder and elbow, and only 12cm for the back, so a hard type Protector will never fit. I managed to fit my DAYTONASASTEC shoulder and for elbow, but I could not fit the Hard Type on my back, so I am planning to buy a Poron. Only Velcro Type can fit in the chest.
When the Hood is removed, the Fastener for mounting and the Loop on the shoulder to prevent flapping are noticeable and uncomfortable.
The material is not as shaky as I thought it would be, but more like a waterproof outdoor jacket. I chose Beige for the color, and at first glance, I was surprised at the color. Oh, did Khaki get it?" I thought it was a good idea. It is quite a dark beige.

It's a little gaudy, but I'm satisfied.
[How did you feel about the Fit?
I am 174cm, 65kg and bought a L. I can wear HeatTEC + thin trainer + Ultra lightDown inside (I removed the ThermalLiner that comes with the jacket because it is covered by the Ultra lightDown). However, it is a little bulky, so you will want to wear it thin if possible (lol).
How was your experience with it?
I tried running with the above equipment in an average temperature of 3℃, but it was a little cold unless I wore a rain jacket over it. 5℃ or higher is just fine without a rain jacket, and 10℃ or higher is hot when the sun is shining.
I haven't tried it in warmer temperatures yet, but it has ventilation, so I think it can be used up to mild spring or fall temperatures.
What are the specs of the product, such as protector?
I tried to use the Chest Protector that often comes with KomineJacket, but it was too large to fit in the Jacket, so I had to cut around it. I think that I can't put Chest Protector of one piece rock type because it is made to put in from the hem of Jacket (probably).
The Protector on the back could be used without modification from Komine.
How did it compare to other products?
It looks and feels like a gutsy rider, so I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable walking around tourist spots with it on, but I think it's fine for RidingMain touring. Personally, I like it.

For everyday wear in winter
I ordered a M size, but it was much larger than I expected, so I returned it for free and reordered in a S size. I have not received the product yet, but I think the S Size is EXACTLY what I ordered.
Since I do not own a car and spend all seasons on my motorcycle, I have to ride my motorcycle no matter how cold it gets. So I was looking for a jacket that could withstand winter motorcycle riding, and I purchased this product because of its excellent functionality and design. I am thinking of wearing it without Protector since I use it Main for everyday use. The detachable Inner is usually equipped with a Button on the Jacket, but since it can be removed and worn, the InnerSingle Body is going to be useful as everyday wear in the fall and spring. It is a breakthrough to be able to control the temperature with one product, and I am really glad that it can be used for both serious touring and daily wear. In my case, since I rarely go out in the winter, I prefer to use only one item of clothing instead of having to buy a bunch of different items of clothing. This jacket is warm enough without heavy clothes, so I think it will be useful to go out with a light jacket on if I remove the protector. The last thing I want to say is that the size is a bit larger than I imagined, so it is best to try it on without trusting the size chart. If worst comes to worst, you can use the free return system like I did.

This product is worn over a Long Sleeve Shirt + Long Sleeve T-shirt of a certain Manufacturer's moisture wicking material.
The Inner Jacket feels slightly warm from the moment you put it on, and I rode in December and it was warm and comfortable.
Hood is a must in winter. I tried driving with it removed and found it very cold and uncomfortable around my neck.

For summer
I wanted a Jacket with removable sleeves because summer has been too hot lately.
There used to be a lot of AXIS so and so and sinisalo.
I'm not comfortable wearing only Motocross Jersey no matter how hot it gets, so I'm going to wear Body & Elbow guard with it.
I'm 176cm.85kg. and I'm a big guy.
This is quite Large tight, even in XL there is room to put a Guard underneath.

Good if appearance is a priority.
174cm 64kg, L size.
Looks good for Large in Motorcycle wear.
However, the fabric is hard and stiff, perhaps because it is windproof and waterproof, so it is not comfortable to wear. Also, be careful not to fasten the button on the zipper cover, otherwise the button will damage the tank.
If you want to look good, you can think of it as a small size when you put Inner on a normal dress size.
I know it sounds negative but it looks great and I love this one exclusively for city driving and short touring.
Personally, I highly recommend it if you have a summer/winter Jacket and want a good looking spring/fall one.
The chest protector was a Komine SK-693 Inner protector.
Please consider electric heating equipment as it is difficult to wear thicker clothes after wearing the attached Inner.
