[How is it used?
The rear shock of SEROW225WE, which is used for playing in the mountains, has become loose and the rear is not settling down. Normal shock overhaul contractor. or else I'm going to replace it with a Replace item." I have checked with several companies that offer overhaul services, but even though the pricing seems reasonable, the price is quite expensive when you add options such as new bump rubber installation.
I decided to replace it with a replacement! I consulted with my friend Mr. Y who was using YSS Rear shock on his SEROW225WE (5MP), and as a result of test riding, I purchased YSS Rear shock.
Was the one you received as per Image?
As mentioned above, I had test-driven the product beforehand and it was just as Image.
Was the installation difficult?
If you are able to remove the normal rear shock, it is not a difficult job.
If you are not confident, ask a friend who can do it or a pro shop.
How was your experience with it?
The overall length of the rear shock itself is the same as the Normal shock, and the spring is a little thicker. Unlike the 4JG4, which was equipped with a separate reservoir tank, the rear shock is an integrated type, but it has a high-end appearance when compared to the 4JG5-5MP4's Normal shock.
When installing the product, the pre-road was set about 15mm weaker than the standard setting by our friend Mr. Y.:The damping was set to Stock (14th Notch from the Hard side) and installed on the car body.
I used it for mountain play after city driving (break-in), but my Level (just a hair above beginner) driving is not good enough. "Exactly good" I felt it.
Pre-road is a little bit stronger than Normal shock, but damping is not so different from Normal. (As for the Flat forest road, we can go there with GunGun and Axel open).

[Was there anything that disappointed you?
None at all, in fact, for me, the product exceeded my expectations.
For those who are confident in their skills, there will inevitably be parts that are lacking, but for beginner to intermediate level drivers, there are 30 levels of damping on the extension side (Webike stated 25 levels, but I tried moving it before installation and found 30 levels) + Pre-road (screw type with a wide range of adjustment) + ride height adjustment within 10mm, so it has a wide enough range of adjustment performance. It is a rear shock with a wide range of adjustment and sufficient performance.
Other items that would be helpful
Point and hang of installation
It would be Smooth to remove the exterior (Fuel Tank, Seat, Side cover) and Rear tire (probably impossible without removing them), and please make sure to stabilize the vehicle body properly.
I heard that the Upper Side may need some modification when installing on a pre-4JG4 chassis? Let's temporarily install it and check.
[Availability and clarity of the Instruction Manual
The Instruction Manual is included in the package, but it is so easy to understand that there are no problems for those who purchased this product for this purpose.

As mentioned above, you may be unexpectedly injured if the Motorcycle falls over during the work, etc. Please make sure that the vehicle is stabilized properly.
Although the various parts can be adjusted after installation, it is difficult to change the pre-road adjustment due to the narrow space for access.

Lowdown is effective.
I installed these for the purpose of low down. Not only did it improve the feel of the footing, but it also greatly improved the road following and ride quality compared to the normal suspension that had almost fallen off. I think that the performance is sufficient for touring use, although I feel that it lacks a little bit of traction at the back of the car when driving on a gap in a mountain pass. However, I changed to a NORMAL short side stand because the NORMAL side stand is too strong and I am not sure about the stand. I also removed the main stand because it is very difficult to raise the car and it is easy to get grounded at lowdown. Please note that the Exhaust System will also be more prone to grounding. YSS Rear shock MX366
Even at the weakest setting, it absorbs well and unevenness of the road surface without any swaying, and the grip of the rear tire is very good when it is tipped down.
However, I had a little trouble installing the Reserve tank.

It looks good in Black.
The ride quality is not bad even though the springs are tightened. The short tube of moriwaki is a little bit slippery because of the lowered height, but it is enough for city driving, not to attack a mountain pass in particular. View detail
YSS Rear shock MX366
With the Normal suspension, the Rear was swaying at the Corner, but with the MX366, the Rear turns smoothly.

The overall length is Long for 250TR and 2008MODEL installation.
The total length between the shafts is 40 millimeters longer than NORMAL, the rate is the lowest, the damping force is the lowest, and the alignment is somewhat decent by squeezing the swing arm shaft with two people.
I have my doubts about Manufacturer's Site description.
Shouldn't you explain the difference in length between the axes from Normal suspension and recommend LowdownSpec. to the User who prefers NORMALSpec.
The caster angle is reduced and the handling is considerably quicker.
This makes product Impression impossible.

Moist feeling is a sense of security
The middle grade suspension is more moist than the hard normal suspension, and it is easy to feel the tire's contact with the ground. There is a wide range of adjustment for the damper, but there is no information in the Instruction Manual on how many steps of adjustment are possible or how many times the recommended setting is to back off the damper.
I think it would be better to remove the swing arm and grease up the pivot and link area while replacing the suspension. As I thought, there was not enough grease and it was deteriorated.

Good product
It was a Manufacturer that I did not know, but I think it looks and quality is good.
Damping force adjustment is easy and I enjoy finding the right setting for me. I think it is a good product.

Handlebar is stable on top etc.
Handlebar stabilizes on corners and bumps.
The technology hasn't changed, but the driving has.
I feel like I'm getting better at it.
Also, Touring has become easier.
I am looking forward to going Touring in the future.

Installed on MT07 YSSMonoshock.
Spring rate was changed to 120N/mm→115.
Now it feels like it's moving solidly!
I did the replacement myself, but it was an amateur job.
The paint on Spring has peeled off…
It is difficult to do so without the proper special tools.
It is absolutely RECOMMENDATION to have it replaced at the Shop if at all possible.

This is an over-marketed TDM900.
The motorcycle is used for touring (9) and running errands (1), and for touring, it is used for driving on mountain roads, ranging from a comfortable ride to a more aggressive ride with a safety margin.
Before the conversion, there was a feeling of discomfort and near-misses due to poor “splash” and settling before the corner and in the downhill deceleration zone, as well as a large vertical movement in the corner caused by the undulation of the road surface.
After the conversion, the large capacity was improved and it became easier to ride.
It is easier to ride and more secure, and the averaging speed of Touring has increased.
Setting is working Shop to intermediate/standard for now. The improvement effect by the conversion is clear and I am not dissatisfied with it, so I will leave it as it is for the time being.
The price was less expensive and helpful compared to other OEM companies' products and OEM sus, although they are no longer sold.
Spring is red, and I like it because it matches the color of the RedBlack car body.

Great ride!
When I stepped on the gap on the road surface, the OEM had a rough, lumpy impression, but when I switched to the YSS, it absorbed the impact very softly, and the ride was very comfortable.
It follows the road surface even when tipping over in Corner and gives a sense of security.

Absorption of fine vibration and stability of the vehicle body are increased.
Normal suspension is not bad, but I bought it because I wanted to somehow combine ride and driving comfort.
If you want to use it for Circuit, there are more expensive and better ones, but it was enough for me from city driving to flowing Winding.
Dumping can be adjusted by 30 clicks on both the compression and extension sides. The extension side is on the front side of the body, so it is clicked by turning the hand from below. The compression side is adjusted with a slotted screwdriver.
Even with the NORMAL setting, I have no complaints about the absorption of small bumps on the road surface when riding in town, and the tread strength when winding.

Comfortable shock absorber
My motorcycle is a YAMAHA XMAX300. The original shock absorber of this bike is very hard. When cornering, the support is not enough and there will be a little shaking. Especially when the rear seat is loaded with people, it will produce resonance, which makes me very uncomfortable, so I bought this YSS rear shock absorber from webike. I am looking forward to the Circuit run.
I am excited to see if I can get a good Time with Circuit. The installation was not difficult.
I personally wish the spring rate had been designed a little higher, but I was able to adjust it. bandit250 was too heavy, and even after switching to yss suspension, it was still very fluffy. The delivery time was earlier than expected, which is a big help to us.
