I was surprised at how breathable it was.
The breathability of the Mesh jacket is not compromised and it is very comfortable.
I think this is a good product from Balance, with good expectations there for shock absorption.

To Upgrade Protector
Since the standard Protector was not enough for my needs, I upgraded only the back.
Compared to the standard, Protector lifts, but it does not bother me as much.
The thickness is about 6mm, which seems to be almost the same as the standard Protector, but the standard is Mesh, so naturally, this product is stronger.
I am also considering a Chest Protector, but I think it would be too tight to wear with this one, so I am putting it on hold.

KUSHITANI Summer Jacket2023 MODEL Size XL Spinal Protector
KUSHITANI Summer Jacket2023 MODEL Size XL
It was a perfect fit for Spinal Protector.
I tried many companies, including Thailand, but Alpinestars was just the right fit.

one's feeling when wearing something
It is much stiffer than the Songe. It is hard, but it does not feel uncomfortable because it fits on the back. It also seems to have good breathability, so it will not get stuffy. View detail
For spine protection
I was worried about the thickness of 13mm and bought 19mm, but I think it is a little too thick. Instead, the safety is so good that I can tell just by looking at it and touching it. 。 I installed it on my DAYTONA leather jacket, but I had to bend it drastically and push it in to get it on! I was able to install it with a shout of "Toria!" lol I will use it for a while and if it is too bulky, I will consider 13mm. View detail
Other companies' products will not fit.
I was going to use the Hard Spine Pad that came with the Thailandichi Jacket I bought 10 years ago, but it didn't fit in the Rough AndRoad Jacket, so I had no choice but to buy one.
I was able to use it for the Jacket at Comiket, but the Pad at RoughAndRoad is a size smaller.
Although it was an additional expense, Hard protector still gives me a different sense of security.

Excellent wearing comfort
After purchasing Daytona's half mesh jacket, there was a back protector in the past, but I purchased this product in hopes of a higher specification protector. It has a slight weight, but the soft material does not lift or protrude out of clothes and fits well with the body, so it is comfortable to wear. -------------------------------------------------- -------- After purchasing Daytona's half-mesh jacket, there was a protector, but I bought it with this product in hope of a higher specification guard. The most cost-effective summer back protector
Used for Rough & Road's RR7313Mesh jacket.Size is M is Exactly the length of the ProtectorPocket.
Many CE Standard-compliant soft types are heavy, but this L size weighs only 303g, which is not too heavy.
And what I expect the most is the Balance between wind shedding performance and protection.
It is unfortunate that CELevel 1 is only available, but it can't be helped because even Level 1 is not enough for Mesh Type. It is the minimum required.
The surface of the actual product is surprisingly hard. (Hard in the direction of crushing Honeycomb) It is expected to be more than the indication of Level 1.
However, it is soft and quite bendable in the direction of bending, so it does not seem to affect the body's movement.
The coarse Honeycomb surface is hard, but the fine CushionMesh inside is soft and comfortable to wear.
Breathability is naturally good, and the wind there is strong. (strength enough to be recognized as wind) When the wind blows, you can feel the wind on your back. It is a very good ventilation system.
It is an air ventilation system that cannot be compared to Protector, which has ventilation holes pocked with holes.
I think it is very cost-effective to sell for less than 6,500 yen for this performance.

Hot, thick.
We had a good feeling with SAS-TEC's Chest Protector, so we tried it on the back.
The Protector up to now has been the same LEVEL 2, but it feels much thicker due to the difference in Material.
I also tried putting it in a mesh jacket, but felt some steam just by wearing it.
I think it is safe, but it was not quite what I had in mind for wearing.

Excellent ventilation
I am wearing a mesh jacket, but it is old and the spinal pad is made of a urethane board. The Spinal Pad is made of a urethane board, which is not breathable, so when I stopped, it was sticky and stuck to my back. I looked for a waffle-shaped Mesh Pad that has good ventilation, which is now the mainstream, and found this product that seemed to fit in terms of size.
My impression when driving is that it is significantly cooler when running because of the wind draft. The shoulders inevitably come in contact with the back, so there is some stickiness, but the entire back is now cooler and less stuffy when the vehicle is stationary. Safety is not so good since it is made of urethane and mesh, but I think it is better than nothing.
Considering the comfort when running, I think the cost performance is excellent. If you are looking for safety, I think you should buy an expensive Mesh jacket or Spinal Protector. If the size fits, I would recommend replacing it.

Maybe the definitive summer back protector for public roads.
The M size jacket by Rough & Road fits perfectly, while the L size jacket by KUSHITANI has room for a large pocket.
It is much more comfortable than the common "hard protector". It is a level that makes you feel like you are missing out on something if you don't wear this with your mesh jacket.
I'm curious to see what the siblings of CE2 are like.
The price is, well, high. But Large is a good product and I strongly recommend it.

[How is it used?
I purchased the soft protector because I thought the original soft protector would not be safe enough for use on touring, winding, and highways.
Was the one you received as per Image?
The thickness, weight, softness, etc. were generally as per Image.
How was your experience with it?
I think it is one of the thinnest and lightest of the Hard protectors. After installation, I felt that the Jacket became heavier when I put it on, but once it was on, it was not so heavy that it bothered me. Combined with its original slightly rounded shape and its easy bendability, there was little discomfort in the riding posture.
Also, some reviewers said that Hard protector is hard to put into Jacket because it does not bend, but I was able to put it into Jacket easily.
[Points to note]
It is not CE Standard compliant, so be careful if that is your concern.
Compared to other companies' Spinal Protector, the part that hits the shoulder blades is made wider, so I think it needs to be tested to see if it will fit in other companies' Jackets.
How did it compare to other products?
I have never purchased a hard protector from another company, so I can't compare, but it is by far more secure than the soft protector. (Although judging from the picture, it seems that they are considering breathability in Hard protector.)
【Review】
It can be a recommendation for those who are not particular about CE Standard but are not comfortable with Soft protector. The price is low, but I don't think it matters much what CE Standard is at the point of hard, so if you choose this product for cosmetic reasons, this is the one for you.

Taking advantage of easy-processability
It is only because it is different from the original application. "You're on your own. And...
Purchased to upgrade the UrethaneProtector without CE marking that is built into the Riding Pants.
I cut out the shape I wanted with Scissors, and then Bolt On with the uneven side on the outside and upgrade was done as if nothing had happened.
Although it is better not to know about the defensive performance, the quality of the impact is clearly different from that of a light tap, so the effect should probably be expected.
If you want a uniform thickness, Chest Pad may be a better choice, although the unit price per area will increase.

It's neither good nor bad
CE is a standard for soft pads, and I have heard that it is equivalent to CELevel 1 or higher at the time of HardPad.
However, JMCA is no longer available unless you have passed CE Standard.
It is light, thin and inexpensive.
That's all.

Hard looking Image and actual defensibility is questionable?
Used for the company's Jacket. The company's claim to fame is that it has become a buy Kit Lack. "Competition only." Spinal Pad's top-of-the-line MODEL. Lightweight design The only thing I thought when I got it was that it was designed to be lightweight. The reverse side was also dented, but the surface was still exposed, so I put a cushion material with double-sided tape on it at the home center. The plastic board BALI was also there and I thought it might catch the mesh netting and tear it, so I cleaned it up with Nipper and installed it. But I was worried about the shock absorbing power of the original Cushion, so I cut the original Cushion a little and put it on top of it. As a result, the shock absorption was improved by the double layer, and although I thought the thickness of the pad would be noticeable from the outside, it was not a problem as long as I did not hunch over. It is thin and light.
I don't want to take care of it because it is Protector, but it is a good, lightweight product.
I was nervous when I opened the package because of the article about the smell, but I guess I was lucky with mine? It was not that noticeable.

MODEL changed and lighter.
I have several NUCLEONSeries Back Protector, and when compared to the old MODEL SOLE, it is noticeably lighter. It also seems to be more flexible. It fits into the pocket of the BlackProtector without any gap (of course).
The Design has been flamboyant, but it's not something that should be exposed in the first place, so it's fine.

Used for John Doe's M65Type Riding jacket
I bought this jacket to use for M65 Type Jacket of John Doe, and since SAS-TEC Protector was originally attached to the shoulder and elbow, I decided to use this product made by SAS-TEC together with Back Protector. I put in LEVEL1, but it was thinner than I expected, so I might have used LEVEL2 with 19mm thickness. It is indispensable for autumn/winter type. View detail
The back is quite prominent.
The same is true for all parts, but the shape tends to float, so it may not be suitable for those who chose the Power age because it does not look like a MotorcycleJacket.
PJ-20301 I used it on WaterBlockAll seasonsParka but the back floats quite a bit.
