It is considerably less expensive than OEM but functions well.
O-ring for Generator of CUB series.
It is cheaper for Large than buying OEM. At least as of this writing in May 2024, OEM costs about $340. OEM is getting expensive….
It is just an oil-resistant O-ring, but surprisingly, there is no general standard product, so we have to rely on OEM or compatible products.
I'm basically a reuser of O-rings here. Bought just in case at OH." But after a while after OH, it started leaking and I had to use it. This kind of leakage is scary because it comes out of nowhere even though it looks fine.
After replacing it with this product, it is functioning without any leakage at all.
It is just an O-ring, so there is nothing special to say, but be careful not to twist it when installing it. If it twists, it will break and leak.
An old ring is hardened and oil is absorbed, so it is difficult to twist even if it is attached properly, but a new ring will twist.
Once oiled and installed, the twisting can be fixed by inserting a thin, non-sharp stick such as GlassesDriver between the groove and the Ring and turning it around.
Anyway, it is better available and less expensive than OEM, so if you have an old CUB-type Engine, I recommend you to buy it while shopping on webike.

This will ensure easier installation and removal of parts like the cylinder head, cylinder and crankcase halves when it comes time to overhauling the engine, as this is where they are used on the Honda Grom. Products to buy together - Key products to purchase when overhauling the engine would be gaskets and O-rings, all which are available from K-Pit here on Webike for the Honda Grom. Difficulty of installation - The installation of the knock pin is an simple task that took 0.1 of an hour to complete. Common sense and the use of your hands is all that is required to clean the mating surface and press the knock pin into place. Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products K-Pit sell to great value when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the knock pin is no different. About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the knock pin, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box. XR250BAJA (1998 MD30/MD17E) was experiencing after fire while running. the front of the engine was particularly noisy, so we investigated and found an oil leak from the Front Tappet Cover. The leak was only at one place, but we decided to replace all of them (4 places) by the way. I found the OEM (part number 91301-428-003) at an auction, but it was too expensive, so I bought this product of the same size (35.5×3mm) and replaced it. Fire is also improved, so I give it 5 stars. By the way, there was no crack on the O-ring before the replacement, but the elasticity was gone.

Tappet Cover O-Rings for the Monkey 125
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the tappet cover O-Rings from K-Pit, made from a soft flexible rubber to help create a good seal. About the feeling of use: After removing and installing the tappet cover numbers times for engine upgrades and maintenance the OEM Honda O-Rings no longer completely sealed and had a minor oil leak, the K-Pit O-Ring with their preformed shape fitted perfectly with zero leaks. Products to buy together: The timing and crankshaft hole cap O-Rings from K-Pit would also be desirable to purchase alongside the tappet cover O-Rings. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 15 minutes, remove the tappet covers and use an O-Ring removal tool so not to damage the surface where the O-Ring seats. Apply a little engine oil and install the O-Rings evenly and untwisted before tightening down the covers. Run the engine and make sure no leaks are present. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a quality part from K-Pit that was in stock and ready to ship unlike the Honda O-Rings but the K-Pit O-Rings is slightly more expensive. About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght was my preferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently this service is unavailable from Japan Post, EMS is much faster which is nice. I have used K-PIT's O-rings on other motorcycles with no problems and they are my favorite O-rings. I don't feel any physical sensation, but I think it is a good product.

O-ring in inconspicuous areas
This is a small O-ring that is often forgotten when replacing the oil in the SKYWAVE.
I'm posting this because it's inside the Filter installation and it's hard to tell or some people have forgotten about it.
The item number for the K-Pit is 70-967-32020.
It's an inconspicuous O-ring on the inside, but don't forget it when you replace the Filter!
