Aella shift rod holder
Since my Z900RS cafe didn't really seem to have problems shifting as long as I paid attention to technique, I debated with myself about buying this part. Some users have reported being very satisfied with improvement found using this. So I thought why not try this out. The design seemed very good being able to center the shaft after the bracket for the holder was mounted, keeping out of line tension to a minimum. I am happy to report that the improvement in shifter feel was quite a welcom surprise, it exceeded my expectations for function and I would not want to remove the part after riding with it for a hundred miles. My first to second and fifth to sixth gear changes are considerably smoother than before. I don't really have to concentrate on shift and clutch technique as much to get good clean gear changes! Read forum posts about this bike (Honda 2017 CBR1000RR) having false neutrals, and such an item would help resolve the problem as it reduces flex on the shift rod. Didn't face any false neutrals before installing this, but felt that gear shifting was a little jerky. After installing this, shifting gears felt very smooth. Glad i purchased this.
