The installation is Large but it is good for front fork protection!
[How is it used?
The Fork Dust Cover from DACHI cracked and only lasted a year and a half, so I switched to these Fork Boots to make them last a little longer.
Was the one you received as per Image?
The thickness of the Rubber felt thin, but the product is almost exactly as shown in the Image.
Was the installation difficult?
Large is odd because the entire front fork must be removed.
The process can be briefly summarized as follows
Headlight bracket removal
Blinker Bracket removal
Front brake caliper and front wheel removal
Fork removal
After all this, Boots can finally be plugged in.
The rest of the process is the reverse of the above procedure, but the work takes a considerable amount of time, so please allow plenty of time for this process.
The tool is also very cumbersome as it requires a Jack (MotorcycleLift) to move the Front up.
How was your experience with it?
Only the special parts fit perfectly.
I think Large sturdy without using Hose Band or Tie Wrap in Included Parts:.
[Included Parts:were they on?
In addition to the Body, the Hose Band, Tie Wrap, and Installation Instruction Manual are included.
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
Nothing in particular. Anyway, the installation is Large strange.
There is a Type from KIJIMA that can be installed without removing the Fork, but it is expensive and I don't like the cutout, so I will have to work on it.
Once installed, they do not need to be removed for a while, but we recommend that they be installed at the time of overhaul.
Incidentally, it was also possible to install HondaLogo's Stem Cover at the same time without any problem.

A little long to use for ESTRELLA.
[How is it used?
The 2002 ESTRELLA did not originally have Fork Boots, but when the front fork was overhauled, they were installed to prevent dirt and to give it a retro look.
Was the one you received as per Image?
The shape of the product was identical to the one in the picture on the Site.
Was the installation difficult?
I originally purchased the ESTRELLA after gathering information on the Net to see if it could be used with ESTRELLA, so the diameter of the Fork Boots was not a problem. I had removed the front fork so I could install the Fork Boots from the top without cutting the Fork Boots.
The diameter of the Fork Boots and Front fork was too Exactly to move, and it was Large strange to lower them to the proper position.
If you cannot detach the front fork, you will need to cut the Fork Boots yourself and install them by inserting them between the front fork and the front fork.
Also, since there are no holes in the Fork Boots to allow air to enter or exit, if the Fork Boots are installed as is and the Fork is stroked, there will not be enough air in the Fork Boots and the shape of the Bellows will collapse. Once the installation position is determined, we recommend making a hole in an inconspicuous place to allow air to flow in and out of the bellows.
How was your experience with it?
The Fork diameter was Exactly compared to ESTRELLA, but the length of the Fork Boots was a little long and the Bellows were a little close to the bottom.
Material-wise, it seems to be resistant to rain and wind, so I expect the rest to be durable.
[Included Parts:were they on?
In addition to the Fork Boots, a Tie Wrap was included to secure the upper and lower positions.

Is this a Universal Product?
I'm assuming it's probably a vehicle specific item.
If you don't write down the full length of Boots, there might be a lot of people who will buy it in vain.
On my Motorcycle, the diameter was right, but it was totally too long and I didn't even want to put it on.

The fit is Large strange, but the cost effectiveness is Large threshold
The size was just right for YB-1.
Because it is not a split type, you have to remove the front fork to install it.
If you can put it on, it can be used semi-permanently, so I think it's worth the effort.

It's a bit big
In terms of price, I personally think it’s a bit expensive, and I can’t find the same product. In the end, I can only choose it. The actual product is a bit bigger than I thought. I hope the effect will be better after installation. View detail

Improved protection performance
I installed it for the effect of stepping stones, rust prevention, and to make the Fork look thicker.
The effect of avoiding rust is very large. Even if the floating rust is removed, there is a revival from the pin hole again, and I was burning my hand, but the span became long (it seems that there is a situation inside that is hard to oxidize and deteriorate), and it became easy when I did maintenance.
Demerit is that you have to remove the Fork to install it.
I also bought 4 Band at Home center and tightened them forcibly because Boots which I attached by the relation of Stroke became like the socks which dropped.
When attaching it to APEFender, it is Wound to interfere.
I replaced it with an XR100MOTARDFender.

Cafe racerCustom's classic
I bought it for YB-1Four. It was originally intended for CD50, but it can be installed without any discomfort.
The Cafe racerCustom's wild style is changing from the clever OEM Fork Guard.
The classic of all time. The cost effectiveness is quite large.
On the other hand, to install it, the front must be jacked up and the fork must be removed, so
If you're unsure, it's better to leave it to the Shop.
Sometimes there are non-disassembled Fork Boots that can be installed without disassembly, but I can't help it.
I don't recommend it because it is easily torn.

The outer tube side is a little bit bigger than the outer tube.
I replaced the Dust Seal on the Fork and put on Fork Boots to extend its life as much as possible, as I didn't want to do it again in the future.
Of course, there's a good look to it.
On a motorcycle with a compatible inner tube diameter, simply wrap it with Tie Wrap and it will fit perfectly.
The Dust Seal and Inner Tube in question does not get dirty or rusty on the road, and its protective effect seems to be effective.
For the ELIMINATOR 250, the Outer tube side is a bit of a problem because it's a bit of a governor.
However, it didn't feel different.

I installed it on my w650 To be honest, it's a bit tight, but with a thin layer of grease, you can install it with no problem. w650 OEM is Because there was a small hole, the hole was made with Punch of the same size as the OEM It's installed 。 This one is thinner, so it looks nice and shapely View detail

Final action and finally a fatality
We had a lot of trouble, but I'm happy to report that we were able to verify the effectiveness of the test in six months
For the symptoms of cracking packaged goods, please use the special adhesive for Rubber (Slightly more expensive, Blackish Material's Rubbery Glue) In addition to this adhesive, TubePuncture repair patch adhesive is also effective I think (Be careful not to adhere to the inner tube when installing the adhesive.)
Still, in my case, every time I Pitching, it opens up a little bit, even after it's fully glued, so Finally, BlackCoating's wire was used to prevent the valley of the bellows from cracking Fixed
No cracks have occurred after the glue + wire fixing treatment
BlackWire is also easy to find at home center or, if you look for it well, at the hundred-yen store
the hang is not too tight, not too loose, but not too loose so that it contracts to Smooth when the Boots is in operation Fixed
Tie Wrap fixation is also possible, but the vent holes in the Boots will allow the Tie If the wrapping is blocked up, it can cause a rupture, and the mountain part of the bellows can break off There is
The wire is thin, so it doesn't block the vent hole, and it also keeps the airflow in place and can be fixed with Recommendation
Now it's no longer a concern and the Wire has solved the problem without being noticeable
The boots themselves seem to have quite a bit of durability, and I think they can go on like this for the time being, Front If you don't want to remove the fork, you can use this Boots, but if you can work with it, you can also use this Boots, if you can remove it OEM or OEM Shape equivalent is appropriate

goods in progress
Even with the use of glue, it still started to crack with Packli
I thought about abandoning it, but at the last moment, I had to wage the valley! Healed
The use of Tie Wraps is not recommended because the width and thickness of the tie wraps inhibit the shrinkage and breathability of the Boots I used it and it seems to be very well salted
Packed disease is caused by a lack of design, precision and strength in the product's biting area, as well as excessive product strength and hardness I think it's because of the material and bonding method and airtightness of
Particularly on vehicles with a softer suspension setup, only using water for the manufacturer's recommended installation method I think it's a frequent occurrence
It's not a compatible car model, but many people seem to be diverting it, and the Size is just about perfect It's a shame

It's better to glue them together securely
The structure is similar to the Drasha Split Boots for cars
The above-mentioned items are used with strong adhesion, but they are surprisingly durable enough to be used by people in the mechanics' business I bought it
Is the ride hard? The first time I installed it according to the manufacturer's instructions, using water, but then I had to repack it several times It comes cracking, so I finally attached them together with synthetic rubber adhesive
From the looks of it, it looks like it's better to use glue, but if that doesn't work, you should consider using glue as well as Drusilla I am
I used it on ESTRELLA, but it seems to be a good way to fix Boots in place with a little bit of shrinkage after complete adhesion It is
It is not bad, although it is a little bit thickly built and has a thicker flesh that seems to have high durability and is a volume up image I think
But after installation maintenanceetc., remove the Fork and use the normal I think it's a no brainer to use OEMBootsetc

Because it is exclusive use
I purchased it because I wanted to add Boots. I pulled out of Front fork, made Headlight BracketCover or something less, and put on Boots.
Size is pitifully..
However, what is unfortunate is that it is attached to the top of the Boots, Tying Band !! The upper part of the Boots has a gap of about 3 mm and it binds there, Tying Band, thick. Even if you look like it is not a hoax Size, it is safe to have a thin guy prepared!

Retro feeling Up
Fork Boots originally unnecessary, but installed to give Retro feeling.
In order to install the Fork you have to remove it, so you need a solid tool.
Boots can be cut in half and stopped with adhesive, but since the Inner diameter is Exactly, it may be slightly Large if it is the latter method.
The Outer diameter has a little clearance, and the bottom part of Boots suffers a little Inner Tube, but if you do not see it in the near side, you do not care much. And there was a feeling that Bellows got a little somewhat, but it is acceptable range.
Material of Boots was a material like Silicon rubber.
Two Tie Wraps were attached, but I fixed only one at the top and set the lower at Free. There seems to be no particular obstacle now.
We also sell Fork Boots exclusively for TR but this product is cheaper in price and I think that it is an option as long as it does not stick to Exactly Fit.
