Perfect if you have Protector at your ankles and toes.
I use them when I commute to work on my KLX250es 1997 model. they are simple, waterproof, laced up shoes.
Side zipper makes it easy to take off and put on.
The size is 3E in width, which is good because there is enough room in the fingertips to prevent fatigue.
We are JUST 26 and 5 cm for GAERNEedpro and fastback, and 27 cm for gAdventure. 27 cm is JUST for Sneakers.
This one is just 26, 5 cm.
It is still waterproof after 3 years of use and is quite good. slacksetc. but the shaft of Boots is slim, so it is good to put the hem over Boots.
Protector at the ankles and toes would be a plus!

(2) After purchase, (maybe) the height of the Shift lever and Brake lever must be adjusted on the Motorcycle side.
I can't ride them. It is difficult to suddenly put them on and go touring.

I have never tried on alpinestars Boots in my life. alpinestars is well known among motorcycle riders and SS riders wear them a lot. I wanted to wear alpinestars boots at least once in my life, so I bought GAERNEG-EVOLUTION FIVE last year …The deciding factor for my purchase was the brand power! I am very happy with the quality of the shoes. (I can see why girls want different Brand products lol. ) alpinestars is an Italian brand that began in 1963 as a manufacturer of mountaineering boots. Since then, the company's technology has been proven in the world's top class races such as MotoGP.

I have never tried on alpinestars Boots because I am from a rural area. This is the first alpinestarsBoots in my life. This is my impression comparing GAERNEG-EVOLUTION FIVE and SMX-SBoots that I have now.
The opening is the same as GAERNE's, using the Magic tape and ZipperSystem, and the large opening makes it easy to put on and take off. However, both boots may feel tight around the ankle when you put them through, but once they are through, they are the same as usual motorcycle boots. The softness of the boots is not so different from the G-EVOLUTION FIVE, and will become softer as you get used to them. The size is 26cm for both G-EVOLUTION FIVE and SMX-S. Even though SMX-S is 26cm larger than G-EVOLUTION FIVE, it is a little more comfortable and I am glad I went up one size. By the way, when I compared the two boots side by side, G-EVOLUTION FIVE is a little smaller than SMX-S. (Slim) I think that the "I" in "I" is a good thing.
I am 25.5 cm in size. The size of the shoes I usually wear is 26cm, one size up. The SMX-S I bought is also one size up, 26cm.

Racing boots are often slightly tight to ensure safety, and therefore, when trying on the proper Size, the width of the foot will feel tight. However, if you choose the correct width, you will surely have excess fingertips, which will hinder accurate operation. As I live in a rural area where it is not possible to try on the shoes, I selected the size based on the owner's impression of the SMX-S and purchased it. Design compatibility is excellent.
I tried on a few sizes in the Shop before I bought them, so the sizes are fine.
They are tight around the instep, so it would be better to go up one size from your normal shoes.
I immediately tried it on Circuit, and from the beginning it was familiar and no problem to operate.
It is not the highest MODEL, but it is good enough for me, Parenthesis is good, and I got a discount, so I got a good deal.

Steamy soles.

Cospa may be the strongest!
It is marketed for touring, but I use it in Circuit Race.
I haven't worn a??Boots in about 25 years, but they have become so comfortable that I could easily mistake them for a pair of boots from back then.
Even if you don't have much Race Gold and can't afford the expensive SUPERTEC, these Boots will be enough to compete.

As others have mentioned in their reviews, the leather is indeed thin. I don't feel protected, and my feet feel like I'm wearing cheap Boots from start to finish.
Does the diagonal Cut on the heel make sense? The most important "Operation." It seems to me that it would be more correct to correct the toes to point forward at the moment of doing the … I don't know.

Extremely regrettable
In conclusion, this Boots is a design error.
Because the sole is flat, the foot does not go under the shift pedal well during SHIFT UP.
The Sole of the Boots is flat with no depression in the sole area.
The Image is like riding an on-road motorcycle with off-road boots, and the SHIFT UP is the worst.
When SHIFT UP, the toes need to be pointed down and under quite a bit.
I have tried with YZF-R1 and other TouringMotorcycle and it is very difficult to SHIFT UP.
Probably the same difficulty to SHIFT UP is found in Adventure type Motorcycle.
They are expensive Boots and easy to walk in and cool, but the SHIFT UP is the worst.
We had no choice but to raise the position of the Shift Pedal a little for R1, but it is fundamentally no good.
I have KUSHITANI's Boots and AlpineStar's SMX2, but these Boots do not operate the same way.
I cannot instantly SHIFT UP when I want to SHIFT UP.
It's a shame because it was an expensive purchase.

More expensive is not always better.
I had been using SMX Plus, which is the 2Grade higher grade, but I couldn't get used to the hardness and the hold feeling, so I replaced it with SMX-S. It is soft because it doesn't have a protector like SMX Plus, and the part that comes in contact with the car body is leather, so it is easy to feel the hold feeling. Excellent design and high functionality
At first they felt tight, but as I got used to wearing them, they fit my feet better. I think they are very well-made boots.
I like the GEARShift and Rear brake because I can feel the operation of the brake and my feet are protected firm and secure, and the design and functionality are simple but well integrated at a high level.

The toughness of genuine cowhide

I went to the mass merchandiser several times to examine the product, so it was just as I had imagined.

When I tried them on, they didn't have the size I wanted, so in a way it was a gamble, but I ordered a 24.5 (the same size I normally use for shoes).
The fit feels just right with room for the toes, but I have the impression that the heel floats slightly when walking.
How was your experience with it?
As you would expect from genuine leather, it is hard and hurts in various places, but that's just how it is at first. It will take a few months or years to develop your own
I will make them fit my feet. By the way, I have been wearing Timberland loafers for over 25 years (3 pairs in total) for everyday wear.
I love them, but it takes about a year for them to completely adjust to my feet, and after that, I can wear them for 5 to 7 years.

Design and quality are both good
I was attracted by the design.
These Boots are softer than expected and easy to wear. You won't feel that they are made of thick leather.
I had the size exchanged even though the item was on order. I usually wear a 28~29 in Sneakers, but the 44 was the right size. 45 was a little too large.
Since this is an overseas product, it didn't have the usual thin and low instep feeling. I think the instep is rather higher than Japanese ones.
The leather scratches easily, but I look forward to wearing them and seeing them become more austere. On the other hand, I would not recommend it to those who do not like to get scratches, but I personally like it very much.

You have a problem with Size.
Actual foot measurement 25.0.
Usual shoe Size, Japanese 25.0, Western product 26.0 (41) 。
This is from someone who does not normally wear racing boots.
SMX PLUS V2 is happy with the choice of 41.
I had a chance to try on the 41 and 42 for a bit, and the 41 is just right in terms of foot size, but the last part of the Side fastener is quite tight.
At 42, it's not so hard to raise the fastener again, but there is more than enough to go around.
The calf part was quite flexible with the Ratchet mechanism.
After thinking about it for a while, I decided to order 41 because of the free return policy.
The instruction manual shows that you can choose the Size It's hard at first, but you'll get used to it, so pick your Tight eye." It says something like.
In fact, looking at the product closely, there are many shirring parts and many moving protector parts, so I feel that the product will become much softer as you get used to it.
I think that if the size selection is too loose, Protection will not work well.
I don't think the toes should hit the floor.
Fit feeling is very good with InnerBootsSpec. that does not come off.
At first I thought it might be too Tight, but as I was wearing it 'Oh, it's not tight, it's Fit. It's going to be like that.
The overall PROTECTION is high and reassuring.
Ankle movement is much more restricted than with riding shoes, so if you are not used to these boots, you should bend over a lot to get used to them before riding them.
The heel part is very small and not suitable for walking with full swing of Protection.
When I walk at a good pace, I feel like I might slip and fall on my heels on the Toilet in the ServiceArea.
When it falls over, it will slide nicely without getting caught on the road surface.
Racing boots with high protection are difficult to bend in the direction of extending the toes, which may cause poor footing.
We are 166cm tall and have short legs.
Design is super cool.

High instep, please note.
The leather is homogeneous and nice, but the surface is LusterLuster and looks like synthetic leather, so a quick look may not be to your liking, but it is safe to say that it is resistant to friction when it falls over.
The gold material of the laces is a simple round shape, which is not as luxurious as other companies' boots, but I would say that it is appropriate considering the price. 。 However, the location of the holes is not consistent, and it is worrisome to notice (first and second pictures).
When I actually tried them on, I felt that the size was neither large nor small (I usually wear 25.5 to 26.0, the ones I bought were 26.0). 。 I have a slightly high instep, and the raised bone on the back of my foot hits the seam on the instep of the Boots (3rd photo), so it hurts a bit. 。 Some Boots from other companies don't hit me as hard, so maybe it's not a good match for my feet.
