Other companies' products will not fit.
I was going to use the Hard Spine Pad that came with the Thailandichi Jacket I bought 10 years ago, but it didn't fit in the Rough AndRoad Jacket, so I had no choice but to buy one.
I was able to use it for the Jacket at Comiket, but the Pad at RoughAndRoad is a size smaller.
Although it was an additional expense, Hard protector still gives me a different sense of security.

[How is it used?
I purchased the soft protector because I thought the original soft protector would not be safe enough for use on touring, winding, and highways.
Was the one you received as per Image?
The thickness, weight, softness, etc. were generally as per Image.
How was your experience with it?
I think it is one of the thinnest and lightest of the Hard protectors. After installation, I felt that the Jacket became heavier when I put it on, but once it was on, it was not so heavy that it bothered me. Combined with its original slightly rounded shape and its easy bendability, there was little discomfort in the riding posture.
Also, some reviewers said that Hard protector is hard to put into Jacket because it does not bend, but I was able to put it into Jacket easily.
[Points to note]
It is not CE Standard compliant, so be careful if that is your concern.
Compared to other companies' Spinal Protector, the part that hits the shoulder blades is made wider, so I think it needs to be tested to see if it will fit in other companies' Jackets.
How did it compare to other products?
I have never purchased a hard protector from another company, so I can't compare, but it is by far more secure than the soft protector. (Although judging from the picture, it seems that they are considering breathability in Hard protector.)

It can be a recommendation for those who are not particular about CE Standard but are not comfortable with Soft protector. The price is low, but I don't think it matters much what CE Standard is at the point of hard, so if you choose this product for cosmetic reasons, this is the one for you.

It's neither good nor bad
CE is a standard for soft pads, and I have heard that it is equivalent to CELevel 1 or higher at the time of HardPad.
However, JMCA is no longer available unless you have passed CE Standard.
It is light, thin and inexpensive.
That's all.

Hard looking Image and actual defensibility is questionable?
Used for the company's Jacket. The company's claim to fame is that it has become a buy Kit Lack. "Competition only." Spinal Pad's top-of-the-line MODEL. Lightweight design The only thing I thought when I got it was that it was designed to be lightweight. The reverse side was also dented, but the surface was still exposed, so I put a cushion material with double-sided tape on it at the home center. The plastic board BALI was also there and I thought it might catch the mesh netting and tear it, so I cleaned it up with Nipper and installed it. But I was worried about the shock absorbing power of the original Cushion, so I cut the original Cushion a little and put it on top of it. As a result, the shock absorption was improved by the double layer, and although I thought the thickness of the pad would be noticeable from the outside, it was not a problem as long as I did not hunch over. Fit for Komine Jacket
Since the Soft Type Spine Protector that comes standard with Komine's Jacket is not enough, we considered purchasing the Hard Type.
We chose this product because there were many word-of-mouth that Komine's Hard protector was too firmly and difficult to move.
Protector entered without any problem even with different Manufacturer.
Although the protection may not be as good as that of the Komine product, I am glad I bought it because it clearly feels more protective than the Soft Type and is not as tight.
It is also designed to prevent steaminess and seems to be fine even for summer use.

I failed
The Spine Pad that came with the Jacket was Better than nothing." I chose this one because it is made of Level urethane foam, and I wanted to use a more protective hard type.
The price was reasonable and the size was appropriate, but it turned out that the entrance of the Pocket for Spine Pad on the Jacket was too narrow and the Hard Type would not fit.
The urethane foam one that came with it can be bent so it can be put in and out, but the hard type can't, so it can't be put in the pocket.
I had no choice but to use Ribbon and Safety Pin to attach it to the Jacket lining, I'll try to be a little more creative.

It is firm enough and somewhat pliable so it doesn't get in the way while driving. View detail
It's the most reliable of all their products!
Considering the hassle and inconvenience of putting on a Protector, I came up with this Pad
Compared with other Pads of the company, it is properly protectored. full mesh I use it with my jacket, but it's very useful because it gives me a sense of security in case of an emergency
Also, it doesn't feel like it's going to stick out when you put it on, so you can recommend it!

It's the most secure of the company's Pads
Attached to a summer mesh jacket
I wanted to be safe rather than cool, so I chose the Hard Type!
As a result, we didn't lose that much airflow and our sense of safety was increased
I'm not sure if touring at high speed is safe now

I think COSPA is expensive.
I usually use items from Soft pad,
I picked a hard thing for the occasional high-speed tourism place.
I attached it to the light summer jacket of Goldwin,
I do not feel a sense of incongruity much.

There is a remarkable difference in security compared to Light protector.
Exchange from Light Protector attached to Jacket. In Urethane of 10 mm pressure, rather than worrying, I do not want to reduce Risk because I do not want to become a disabled person by falling and banging my back. "Exchange to Hard" is.
Since Circuit's running meeting also goes on, Light protector is mandatory because it is lightning-free Pad and there is no gimmicky and easy to wear, but it is not usable in Circuit driving.
If you ride Motorcycle, we recommend you to protect yourself.

Built in tightly for price
Though it was thinner than I expected, I got the impression of LePera,
It is light, it does not feel uncomfortable, I think that it is good.
Although it is thin, it is Plastic, so the sense of security is completely different from Soft Type.
I feel like a handy Hard protector.
