A slight change in position, but it is effective.
Riding position can be changed without replacing the axel, clutch wire or brake hose.
That's a slight change, but it worked wonders for a Showa-era uncle's body type like mine!
In situations like UTurn, where the Handlebar is cut to the full, I thought it would be possible to operate naturally because the arms are not fully extended.
However, the handlebar replacement process itself is quite a hassle, so if you are not confident about it, it would be safer to ask a PRO to do it for you.

Cost performance is good
From the beginning, I felt Handlebar was too far away and was looking for a product like this.
After the exchange, it wasn't as close as I had hoped, but I had more room in my arms.
I am very happy with the replacement because I feel less tired.

Slight improvement
There are several types of handlebars available to improve the Riding position of the Bolt, which is slightly far from the grip, but we chose this handlebar because it does not require the Brake hose to be replaced, even on a car with ABS.
Since the hose and cable do not need to be replaced and the switch holes have already been machined, the handlebar replacement is very simple. It took me some time to transfer the various items that were attached to the handlebar, but if you are a person who can do the job well, you can probably complete it in about an hour. I was a little surprised that the price tag or product seal was attached to the Right Grip, but I guess it is unavoidable because the Left Grip gets in the way when you push the Grip in. If possible, I would like to see a seal that can be easily removed, but since it does no real harm, I guess it's OK.
I did not change the Clutch Cable routing, but I guess it is necessary to change the routing because the Cable rubs against the Top Bridge when the Handlebar is turned all the way to the Left. I will redo only the Clutch Cable in the near future.
Riding position, which is the most important, has definitely improved, albeit subtly. It is not an ideal change, but considering that the improvement is within the range that does not require replacement of hose and cable, I think this is the limit of the improvement.
The photo shows before and after Handlebar replacement.:Pair (for Left and Right) The following is a comparison of the location of the Tank cap and Logo with the midpoint of the Grip end of the I was not able to take pictures from the exact same position, so this is just for reference.

Good Choice
These are the reduced reach handle bars to get for the Yamaha Bolt. They are truly bolt on with no other modifications needed. I am surprised how they improved the reach and rider position and comfort. The handle bar is exactly at the height and angle that I wanted. All the cables and the brake hose clear the top of the fork, no rubbing. ABS is okay. Even though the reach is only 30mm closer than stock handle bars, the riding position is better than the 50mm reduced reach bars I had on previously. View detail
I am 6 foot tall, the hurricane handlebar gives me a much better reach and it leads to a better position on the bike which saves my spine. I recommend this product. See 2 photos : with stock handlebar and with hurricane handlebar. View detail
It will be easier..
Other Owner says, but the STD Handlebar is a bit far. I am 176 cm tall but I decided to tour around 200 km with STD Handlebar and purchase this item.
I ran about 200 km after the exchange, but it is fun. But it seems better to have NORMAL.

ABS vehicle
Cut 2 centimeters at each end and use a little angle. Therefore, Brake hose has a little margin.
(Of course you can use it without Cut)
The installation is also amateur and it is about two hours..
In my case there is no vibration and I can use comfortably.
My back and waist have become a little easier.

The tiredness of the arm makes considerably easy.
Bolt RSpecifications attached to ABS.
I think I just came in front of you, but even with that alone pretty much the posture itself became easier.
I have not installed it yet, so I am not riding long distances, but I am likely to reduce the tiredness of my arms.
This time, I tried my best and I challenged to install.
Since there is no Instruction Manual, I removed it while watching the Service Manual but as I tried following the Service Manual, "You did not have to get off that far ..." There were some parts called.
Manual In order as described,
■ Removing Headlight. Horizontal screws (3. 8Nm)Quantity : Remove Lens with 2pc. Two couplers inside, disconnect, screw (7Nm) Remove all with 3. ... It seems that Headlight does not need to be removed. If there is any trouble with the removal after this please remove.
■ Removing Back Mirror. ? ? ? It is possible to do without doing this, but it is worried about dropping and scratching so it is better to remove them. As Yamaha, please note that Right's Mirror is reverse threaded.
■ Front brakeLightSwitch connector removed. Quantity under Brake master cylinder : 2pc Connector. You can pull it out. ? ? ? It seems that even without doing this.
■Front brakes master cylinderHolder. Quantity : 2pc screw (10Nm) It will be out.
■RightHandlebar switch. Quantity : 2 pc screw (3. 5 Nm) Open with spur. In the Manual, you will also remove the Throttle Cable, but leave it as it is below (Other than Handlebar grip) It is best to remove as it is after removing.
■Clutch switchCoupler. Coupler disconnect under LeftHandlebar switch.
■LeftHandlebar switch. Quantity : 2 pc screw (3. 5 Nm) Open it up and remove it.
■Handlebar grip. This is an idiot. It is hard to get out. It is postponement.. After removing all other parts, I tried and errored carefully. In Manual "Blowing compressed air into the gap" Although it is written, since there is no Compressor, in the end, I rolled off from the edge and removed it with power while making it into a Doughnut shape. I feel this is the best. It's a quite resilient Rubber.
■Clutch Cable - Clutch lever. If you do not remove it, RightHandlebar will not come out. Remove the Clutch lever while removing it.
■Clutch switch. ? ? ? It is not removed.
■Clutch lever holder. One screw in front (10Nm). After removing the Handlebar grip, remove it.
■MeterAss'yBracket. Meter got in the way, Upper Handlebar holder (Main's Handlebar fixed Bolt near Center) Because you can not remove the screw of the Meter bottom screw (7Nm) Quantity : Remove only 2 pc so we can shift Meter. Protect Tank across Cushion.
■ Upper Handlebar Holder 2 places. screw (28Nm) Total 4.
Now that you can remove the Handlebar. Unplug the Right Handlebar Throttle, remove the Left Handbar grip and remove the Clutch lever holder.
The above is the removal procedure, "It does not have to be removed" Even if I wrote it, perhaps it might interfere with others, so please remove it then.
And install this Handlebar of HURRICANE in the reverse order of removal.
I forgot to take a picture. Although there is no picture,
Those who are aiming for DIY, please do their best..

After all OEM Correspondence is relieved
Because the Handlebar is long and it is Large, in order to make it feel Spartan
, I was looking for Handlebar. YAMAHA 's xvs 950 a has no Parts, and there is no entry in the corresponding model Minor Motorcycle is always exciting. Because this Handlebar was for Bolt, I thought that it was durable for Large, and when I purchased it and installed it, the position of the hole in the Switch was finished like I thought exactly. I think that this writing should be helpful for the owner of MinorMotorcycle.
