Fits: HONDA VFR800, HONDA VFR800
The ultimate in VFR800 riding comfort.
The VFR police handlebar kit has transformed my VFR riding posture into a perfectly upright position. Previously, I've had clip-on risers that stretched the limits of the stock cables and hoses. While the clip-ons were an improvement over the stock Honda bars, I was still hunching forward unless I rode with one hand on the bar and the other resting on my hip. Installing this Hurricane kit makes it feel like a completely different bike. I've combined this kit with lowered foot pegs for a bit more leg room. The riding position is now Standard. If you have back pain, or are tired of hunching over you owe it to yourself to install this kit. Any fears that you're changing the look of the bike will melt away as you set out on that first ride in comfort. I now understand how the VFR800P made it to police service. The quality on all the parts in the kit is top notch and comes very well packaged. There is included documentation in Japanese, but I cannot speak to how detailed it is. But if you've got a VFR shop manual on hand, install is pretty straight forward. You're just running new hydraulic lines and throttle cables. Install tips: -Take plenty of photos of your current hose and cable routing. Archive them somewhere when done in case you ever swap back. -I installed longest hose to the clutch, medium length hose from brake master to left side caliper. Shortest hose from brake master to right side caliper. Included double banjo bolt installed at the brake master. -The left/right side controls wiring is long enough, but you will need to remove the cowl around the gauges to free the wiring from zip ties so the wiring extends out long enough. -The horn wiring on my 2000 was too short once the left control was mounted. Do not cut or modify the bike harness. Simply make yourself an extension cable with automotive wiring. Crimp on male spade terminals on one side, and female flag terminals on the horn connection end. -The windshield I chose to modify was a Givi D200S (webike product# 93931) as seen in the photo. Corners were cut off and bar lock-to-lock was tested for clearance. I then cleaned up the cut surfaces and added new edge trim meant for car doors. -The inner Honda bar weights will slide in, but the OEM bar ends do not fit properly. Something like a Throttlemeister will not fit either. Hurricane makes bar ends and balance weights that can be found in webike's catalog. -As stated in the product description, you will need the extended pull cable for fast idle on the 1998 and 1999 VFRs. This will add an extra step of pulling the air box. The bike shown is a 2000, so no fast idle pull cable. I was able to do the throttle cables without pulling the airbox, and just had the tank lifted. Side fairings were removed for duration of the install. -Be careful with brake fluid. Put plenty of paper towels down to protect painted surfaces. Wear something like nitrile gloves for your hands. Safety glasses definitely recommended as well. Follow front brake and clutch bleed procedures as found in a shop manual. I used a vacuum brake bleeder. -I think the included hex cap bolt is meant for the left side fork slider where it secures two metal brake line blocks. You will be removing the OEM "h" shaped hose assembly from the front calipers and brake master. This just leaves one remaining block to secure on the left fork slider, so the long bolt that's in there can't be used. However, I just reused the bolt from the right side slider after removing the one block it secures. It's the same length and thread pitch as the included capscrew. -Stock mirrors are still usable, but my hands are occupying the inner 1/3 of the view. I added stick on blind spot mirrors seen in the photo. -Plenty of zip ties are included, so secure up wiring, hoses, and cables as you see fit. View detail
Some things are cheaper than others.
I've read and understood the dimensions from Official.
There were some subtleties I didn't understand, so I took the plunge and bought both.
Results of comparison
Height:BEET≒Conti2
Width:BEET≒Conti2
Aperture:BEET
Hole drilling is required, but even at this price
I think you will be satisfied with the net result.

Frequently Asked Items
What made you decide to buy?
It's hard to tell what it actually looks like from a diagram, so I thought I'd give this one a try since it uses pictures of the actual installation in the product image.
How was your experience with it?
My posture is more comfortable than before, and I feel like I'm riding differently.
Was the installation difficult?
I had never done this before, and although the included parts:around the wiring were perfect for the OEM and the length was just right, I struggled a bit to get them under the tank, and when I replaced the brake hose, I struggled a bit to get the air out.

I'm satisfied!
Because I felt tired of the position of the Condor Handle of the same HURRICANE, I decided to buy the Quantity of Narrow2 here.:I bought the set and it requires some knowledge, experience and tools for installation. I've installed the Handlebar Mounting Type to the front, and I'm very satisfied with the position. View detail

Even an uncle can learn to ride.
I bought this ZX25R for my son to ride, but I still want to ride it myself sometimes. However, the position was so tight that it was more troublesome and I hardly rode it.
The Handlebar is now 10°⇒5° and 30mm up, which makes it much easier to position and more fun to ride. I think it is a good product in the point that the degree of freedom of the position increases though the price is expensive.
The Handlebar can only be fixed by clamping the fork and tightening.
The OEMHandlebar was fixed to the Top Bridge with a hexagonal screw in addition to the clamp on the fork.

I am satisfied
The OEM Handlebar had a tendency to spread the arms, but this Handlebar is large and strong without spreading them too much. I am satisfied with it. View detail

Squeeze Han?
The texture and appearance are better than OEM, but the Handlebar is narrower than I imagined, so it might be tiring in Touring etc. It was good if there was a little more room. After that, I replaced it with another Handlebar after a while. View detail
Easy to drive
It's a much easier Position and makes driving a lot more fun and long distance. View detail
slightly forward leaning
I didn't like the width of the OEM and replaced it.
I know some people prefer this position, which bends forward more than the OEM.

You can replace the Handlebar with this one.
Installed on YAMAHA NMAX125 2016
Model:EBJ-SE86J
Removing the cover of the STD Handlebar was a bit of a pain in the ass, but
It was able to be installed with Bolt On as is.
The sticker of the HURRICANE was in the way of getting the Center of the Handlebar out and so on.
Good points
Refreshing around the Handlebar.
The Bad.
It's a bit of a hassle to get the Center out.
Position the Handlebar a little before the STD Handlebar.
It may feel a bit cramped when you're a two-seater.

It varies from person to person.
I bought it used.
1:HandlebarBody
2:Long clutch wire
3:Long Accelerator Wire
4:Extension horn harness
5:Stainless Steel Mesh Brake Hose Extension
More than 5Quantity:The Horn harness was not included in the set, but I was able to install it.
Replacing the Clutch Wire and Stainless Steel Mesh Brake Hose is easy, but even as a former mechanic, I had to pull the carburetor so far out of the carburetor because the Accelerator Wire was so Large strange to replace.
If you're not confident in your maintenance skills, get a motorcycle shop to do it for you.
Brake hose replacement is also dangerous from a maintenance standpoint, so I recommend you to have a PRO do it.
The photo shows a comparison with the manufacturer's Quarter3
I liked the position of the Handlebar, but the aperture is so different!
The aperture was too tight, so I replaced it immediately.
The dimensions are published on the manufacturer's website, but the numbers don't tell the whole story.
HandlebarSingle Body and may be sold at motorcycle supply stores, so you should check it out in person.
The height of the Handlebar is also limited to ±4cm in terms of vehicle inspection, which is over, so CB400SF (NC39) is apparently not allowed.
That's all I have to say for this evaluation.

Mini Ape-Hangers for SR400 'Boatrap' bars
I ordered this kit because I wanted to replace the dismal stock bars that came with my 2017 Yamaha SR400 bought in the US. I ordered the black colored bars, and after some back and forth on the parts, got the complete kit. The kit comes with all of the mechanical cables you need; clutch, throttle (for fuel injected bike), decomp, and brake line. All of the cables and lines worked great! The only marginal cable was the clutch, it's just a tad too short but some creative routing and a strategic tie-wrap got it set. Keep in mind, this is only the mechanical side. I had to extend all of the electrical cabling. I imagine there's some sort of extension kit out there, but not sure how it would work. This would pull all of the connectors out of the headlight housing, I basically had to extend all of the cables including the multi-function switch set on the left. Other than that, fantastic kit and I think the cables that came are as good or better than stock. View detail
This is good!
If you're a KATANA rider, you've probably been wondering about the Separate Handle Kit I'm sorry
I'll leave a Review for my latecomer brothers.
In addition, I haven't been able to ride it yet, so there is no feeling of use.
The exchange itself was completed without that much trouble.
The replacement procedure is abbreviated because you only have to turn the visible screw and remove it.
Be careful not to scratch the body of the vehicle.
It took me half a day to do it because I'm not used to it, but if you're used to it, you should be able to do it in about 2 hours. Isn't it?
Tools we needed.
・Hexagonal Wrench (5mm/6mm)
8-10mm glasses wrench
・Torque wrench (I don't need someone who says they'll tighten it up solidly by hand.)
・Phillips Screwdriver
・Slotted screwdriver (for prying out the hexagonal hole cover)
Screw lock agent
・Parts cleaner (For LeftGrip pullout)
・Cutter Knife (More on this later.)
OEM Parts are fully available.
However, be careful with the Grip end.
The end of the end is the one that tightens the Screw to crush and spread the Rubber.
The inner diameter of the Grip of this kit is narrowed from about 5cm inside. I'm not going in.
So I shaved off the outer edge of the fixed rubber with the above mentioned Cutter Knife and used it.
As a rule of thumb, make sure the diameter is the same as the diameter of the washer in contact with the rubber and you will be able to get in.
Also, read the Construction Manual carefully and read the Quantity:Pair (for Left and Right) Make sure you don't confuse the Handlebar with
This is the only thing to note.
Now for the fit, I think it's very good.
It's rigid and chunky.
Of course, OEMs can also use the Mirror, but the Handlebar is lowered, so it is possible to use the Mirror on a lower level. I think it would be better for the Balance if you replace the Mirror at the same time.
Position is of course a little forward leaning, so it's hard for people with back pain.
Furthermore, everyone is curious about the range of motion of the Handlebar;
It's fully lockable with no interference, babyface, awesome!
The end is shaved, but the others can be installed without modification.
As a general comment.
For this price and this look, it's a heck of a lot better.
Parenthesis becomes better when the Handlebar is lowered, after all.
I think this low is moderately low for a pontoon.
I recommend this product for Katana riders who want to add a separate handle.

Are you happy?
I've been bothered by the vibration of the 2019 NINJA 1000's Handlebar and thought about switching But the vibration became considerably better when I replaced the Handlebar in a bad situation
If you want to improve one thing, please make it easier to get the HandlebarCenter out I wonder?

It's easier to ride!
I don't go to the Circuit, and I'd like to ride the R6 for street riding and touring, but
Recommended for those who find the riding position difficult!
The quality is very good for the price
Can I lean forward while holding the handlebar at a stoplight?
Relief from wrist fatigue
Easy to see the signals and no fatigue on the back of the neck
You can see the difference after just a short ride, such as
It's easy to change the Lever

My neck feels better now
The back of the Helmet was always hitting the Hood of the Lijake and it was hard to look up, so I took the plunge I replaced it The height of the Handlebar has been increased considerably and the signal is easier to see, so I got the desired effect I'm happy with it, but I think the price is too high..
Also, the holes around the Switch are open by default, but when the Handlebar is turned off to Left The Accelerator Wire will not hit the Cowl because the Handlebar was raised to In that position, the accelerator wire lies down to prevent it from hitting the Master Cylinder In that position, the Accelerator Wire and Master Cylinder hit each other and Since the brake lever cannot be set more than a certain amount of up, the brake lever should be set up to the up position It can be hard for those who want to
Also, the Clutch Side has the Handlebar Parts and Clutch Adjustment Dial The board Spring? does not point downward beyond a certain point
That's about it

I hope you find this Review helpful!
I had a hard time deciding between the HURRICANE FatCondor and this one
The Handlebar is slightly bent forward and the ride quality is more sporty than before The width is narrowed to Large width, and it is easy to slip through, etc., and the appearance I'm happy with the compact
The holes in the Switch box are drilled, so it's nice and easy not to have to do any machining

Good handle lifting solution, there is room for lifting.
1. Regarding the product, the problem of raising the handle is solved, but the equipped throttle cable feels much heavier than the original car! I found that the line back to the throttle is not smooth, and the line length is also very tight, just enough, it also causes smoothness problems. 2. Regarding the service, I received the wrong throttle cable for the first time, which made it impossible to install. After a long time of tossing, I re-issued the correct throttle cable and did not communicate with me about the delivery method. I directly used the one I purchased. The way of freight, because I was not in a hurry at the beginning. I chose sea freight, which took a long time. I would rather speed up the transportation at my own expense, and didn't give me this opportunity. ``` 1. Tools and dexterity are required for self-installation
Separate handle on the NINJA2 Helmet50R makes long distance touring a breeze It's getting hard, so I made the decision to convert it to a Pipe Handlebar at the Motorcycle Shop I installed it by myself It took me about 5 hours to install the full count and the Brake booth I could View detail
It has become more NAKED style from the OEM wide handlebar
The position changes considerably
I'd like to make it a bit more up and more relaxed in the back than OEM, and the OEMHandlebar is too open It's good for people who feel that
You will also need to replace the Clutch Wire, but it will be included
Brake line, Accelerator Wire and Switch Harness extensions are Even if you don't, it was Large sturdy
From the cost and hassle involved, it's a pretty dramatic change of position and good for you
The opening of the Handlebar Grip section is quite narrow at 45° so that the wrist is It can be a little cramped
The SelfStir feels a little stronger when you replace it with a Pong Maybe it's because of the difference in the support point of the Handlebar When I changed it, it eased up
I used the end cap with Inner Weight, but I felt more shaken than the OEM It is
I think the vibration is less than Aluminum because it is Steel
