It is a must for older Motorcycles.
The device was installed on a KDX250SR.
Since it is an old Motorcycle, it is ideal for Tank's Rust defense.

periodic replacement
I installed it to prevent foreign matter from entering the tank, and it is about time for regular replacement. The price is not that much, I can see how dirty it is, and it is easy to replace, so I think it is easy to use. View detail
Feeling flow instability as per other impressions.
I use it because I often Overflow on my old car.
I'm not particularly particular about the Manufacturer, but DAYTONA seems to be well worth the price. There are no visible defects, such as paper wrinkling.
However, as mentioned in other impressions, the flow rate seems to be lower than other companies' products, and sometimes the Gasoline would run out at full throttle on the freeway scene, etc. (Waiting a bit will fix it.) Also, the Gasoline would suddenly stop running due to air bite, although the cause was unknown (I'm not sure if this was due to the Direct product, but removing the filter would fix it). (I don't know if this was due to the Direct product, but it was fixed by removing the filter.)
Therefore, it is not very useful for 250ccSports type motorbike.
I will look for a product with a higher flow rate.

Essential equipment for older vehicles
After riding for a long time, the cold temperature difference causes condensation inside the Tank, resulting in water droplets.
Water will collect on the bottom of the Tank and may rust.
Rust debris can enter the carburetor, causing overflow and clogging of the jets.
This is where this product is useful.
If there is some rust, the filter can trap it, and since it is visible through the filter, it is possible to notice rust as soon as possible and take measures such as rust removal.
This product is compatible with φ6 and 8 and can be used from Mini bike to Large type.

Cospar good
It is practical because you will not notice the Rust in the Tank going into the carburetor. View detail
Small Type
Small type as a fuel fliter, and since it is a paper base, it is the one that you should be most careful about in terms of narrowing down the flow rate.
However, because it is a Small Type, there are many cases that are convenient for placement.

Fuel Filter With Paper Filter
About quality and texture The product fits well with the internal diameter of 6mm hose About the feeling of use Gasoline is being delivered to the carburetor well Products to buy together 6mm hose Difficulty of installation easy, simple Cost performance and comparison with other products Among the fuel filters, the price and product were the best for me, and I was satisfied when I installed it About shipping and packaging It took a week and the packaging is great Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing My ape100 is now an old bike, so foreign substances are starting to come out of the tank I saw small foreign substances while setting up the carburetor, so I installed them View detail
insufficient flow
The product is solidly built, but the amount of flow to the carburetor is less than that of KIJIMA's products of the same et cetera, and it is easy to cause gas deficiency. I am concerned about it and it is Stress. So I changed to another Filter. I am sorry to hear that. View detail
To prevent foreign objects from entering
[How is it used?
I used it on my TZr250R.
We do have rust removal on the Fuel Tank and of course the Cook has a Filter, but we use it as an insurance policy to prevent as much rust and Garbage from flowing away.
Was the one you received as per Image?
If you have a vehicle with limited space, it's a good idea to check the installation position beforehand.
How was your experience with it?
Hose inner diameter is φ8mm, so I cut off the tip part with Cutter and then installed it.
I've only run the engine a little bit since installation, but so far the flow rate seems fine.
I can't confirm the visible foreign body etc. at the moment, but it seems to catch it well.
[Points to note]
If you just look at the Body, you'll want to put it on backwards, but the orientation is as shown in the picture.
I don't think it's a problem because it's in the description, but you need to check the mounting direction.
How did it compare to other products?
This is my first time installing a Filter, so I don't know about other products, but it's good that it can be used for both φ6 and φ8m, so it can be used in any car model.
【Review】
You don't have to measure every Hose inner diameter, but you can be sure to buy this product.
It seems that only Gasoline flow rate may be a problem, so you need to be careful there.

Select the carburetor to be used depending on the flow rate.
When I use this filter on a Motard 115 with PE24, I don't get any air bites in the filter if I don't open it all the way, but if I pull it all the way, the gasoline supply can't keep up with the filter and it's completely useless.
It is not suitable for the car that uses the fuel cock of the fuel hose of φ6, so it is necessary to pay attention.

This is a normal product with no problems. Need to be replaced periodically
The discharge rate is not low and I have no problems using it.
When I did the rust removal of the Tank, I was worried and the net of Strainer of Fuel Cock had been removed. I thought this was Redn and installed it.
It's troublesome when Jet is clogged with a short Rust.
I think it needs to be replaced periodically, so it's like seeing how dirty it is.

This is a spare, next purchase for Replacement.
I would like to buy something else next time and try it.

Switch from Filter Paper Type
We have an ELIMINATOR 250, Tank rusty. I've been using Filter for a long time as a symptomatic treatment because it produces a lot of rust powder. Until now, I have been using the filter paper type for its filtration performance. I liked the filter paper type because it can filter rust like dust, but it reduces gasoline flow a little.
However, when I was driving on the highway the other day, a strange symptom of lack of Gas occurred. When I checked the cause, I found it was clogged filter paper.
So this time I decided to close my eyes to the filtration performance and use Mesh Type. So far, rust powder is not flowing so that it becomes a problem, and I can see rust accumulating in the bottom of Filter's Case, and I am satisfied with the feeling that it is removed.
The best thing is that this disk-shaped design fits the gap of the intake manifold of ELIMINATOR 250. Probably, ParallelTWIN of the same system of ZZr, GPX and so on will fit as if they were measured.
Satisfied for now

exchange
I bought and installed a new one because it was dirty and I was unsure when I installed it. I don't know when it was installed, but it was dirty, so I bought a new one and installed it.
It's not expensive, and it seems to perform well.

Just watch your fever.
"The rust from the tank is so bad that Overflow won't stop unless you bite the Filter.
I've tried several filters, but for fine powdery rust, the filter paper type is the best choice, there are also Mesh and Magnet, but they can't Catch the powder.
The Daytona filters are cheap, small and space-saving, so they are stable and I change them every six months.
There are no plans to cheat at the moment. "

Easy to use, but the price tag?
Smallish paper disposable fuel filter (Part number 96452) 。
For some reason, this one is more expensive than the Large Kisa one, which is easier to use than the Large Kisa one, so I feel the manufacturer's intentions.... It is installed between VT Normal engine and OEM cap
This type is to be discarded and replaced with a new one after a certain amount of use
I used it in a reasonably good tank after the rust removal treatment and it stopped running after 16,000 km because it got clogged I did Not just rust, but Gasoline scum? The eyes seem to get clogged up with For your information
There is also a larger size type, but if the flow rate is higher than this, you can use the It's in the Instruction Manual, so you can install the Big carburetor, etc If you have concerns about fuel shortages, please be aware of them
Also, it has been functioning well by removing the fine rust that came out of the tank little by little It is Definitely recommended if you have an older vehicle and are worried about Tank rust

Remove the Garbage of the Rust of Tank by attaching the Fuel filter Not as much as possible
The transparent Filter will allow you to visually see the flow of fuel
In the event of an accidental stall, the filter section allows you to visually check the flow of fuel, so you can see the flow of fuel
It is easy to understand the causes of fuel problems such as lack of gas, and TroubleShot's response is It can be done quickly
YamahaHorizontal Type2 Sto. Scooters located in visible position with Filter Space is very narrow when you try to attach it to
You will need to be creative
(Any Filter may be easy to install if it is not visible in the Cowl (mm)
This filter will fit in the right place right after Fuel Cock
2-stroke motorcycles have been out of production for about 20 years, and I'm still enjoying the 2-stroke Scooter! I think there are many people who want to
Right now, there is a time when the steel Fuel Tank will eventually rust, even if it doesn't look rusty in appearance
I think you can wear the Filter now instead of a good luck charm
