Genuine SBS Dual Carbon Race Pads for KTM 690 DUKE 2012
A friend wanted to try the SBS Dual Carbon Pads on their KTM 690 Duke 2012 model. It appears this bike does tend to go through pads fairly rapidly whilst on track days for obvious reasons. A dual carbon pad would be my first choice for a track bike, but the customer wanted these to try out so they have other options from what they usually buy. Finding the correct part was pretty easy as I visited SBS website and put my model details in. Webike had these in stock and so ordered with a few other parts. The shipping was fast and via EMS, delivered to me in 5 days. All was packed really well and did not move during transit, no damage at all. They were nice and clean upon arrival, with no obvious contaminants. I fitted these and the customer took the bike for a short test on teh road. Yes, they do take a little time to bed into the discs but first impressions are positive. I'm sure the customer will be happy and hopefully, they will last a little longer than previous pads. [How is it used?
The MOTO GUZZIV7III's front and OEM pads were not very effective due to the single disc, and there were times when it did not stop as expected and I had a near miss.
The OEM has hardly decreased after 24,000 km and seems to be more concerned with durability than effectiveness.
I replaced it hoping for an improvement in efficacy because I didn't know when it would decrease if I waited until it decreased.
How was your experience with it?
Compared to the OEM pad, the pad area is narrower and larger than the OEM pad. I wondered if the pad would be sturdy, but when I beveled the corners with File, it was quite soft, so I ran with high expectations and found that the Rotor worked reasonably well from the start despite being used again.
I did about 450 km of high speed and touring including Winding, and I felt it worked better than OEM.
What I liked more was the Controllability.
OEM will be able to loosen the Brake when entering the Corner. "Scauper." SBS, on the other hand, has a wider control area, making it easier to loosen the brakes in a way that leaves the brakes in place.
When applying the brakes, I feel that I can subtly adjust the brake effect with less force than before.
How did it compare to other products?
I have no non-OEM experience with V7, so this is an OEM comparison, but as I already wrote, I felt that SBS is definitely better in terms of performance.
I expect the durability to be much lower than OEM, but considering the price, I think 10,000 km is sufficient.
[Points to note]
As is often the case with METAL series Pad, when braking Zeeeeeeeee!" and sound.
I also chamfered the pad and applied grease to the piston contact surface, but there was squealing at very low speeds.
The squeaking may stop with time, and if you are concerned about the sound, it may be best to avoid it, although it may depend on the model of car and individual differences.

High braking power even in off-road races!
I purchased the Brake Pads for my Husqvarna 2016 TE250 because they were out of date.
Package. "Pass. but it is also a Pad that can be used in Off-road races.
"Pass. I think it would be better to change the Package because I think it is only for On road when it says "On road" (laugh).
The 2022 8-Hour PowerEnduro ran for exactly 8 hours.
Brake works well even with 1 pc finger.
It works very well, so we had to be careful about gripping it too hard or Breaking with the vehicle leaning.
I haven't used it outside of PowerEnduro yet, but I look forward to using it in other Courses.

The compatibility chart is wrong.
I searched for a product that fits BMW K1300S, and VD-947JL was displayed, so I bought it. The part number of OEM pad for K1200S, K1200R, K1300S, and K1300R is the same, and the part number for K1300S is also the same. The part number of OEM pad for K1200S, K1200R, K1300S and K1300R is the same, so I think you should use ZV-VD947/2JL which has different thickness inside and outside as well as OEM pad.
I am satisfied with the performance of the Pad, but this will shorten its life.

OEM Product Replacement due to wear
I was looking for a replacement for an OEM Product that had worn out after 20,000km and found it on this ShoppingSite. At the time of purchase, KTM OEM Parts were not available on this site, and it took a long time to get them through the dealer or overseas mail order site, so I decided to purchase them. The feel of this product is the same as the OEM product. The durability of the parts is still being verified, but after 13,000km of driving, the parts seem to last longer than the OEM product, and the cost seems to be good. View detail

I used it on my Enduro for 8 hours and it worked decently even on steep hills.

The performance is good enough to be used in the race, so if you are riding on the street, you should have no problem.

After about 7,000 miles, the rear pad was reduced and replaced.
Because brembo works well, it seems to be quick to replace the pad...........................................
I thought it would be a hassle to change the rear pad, but I didn't want to damage the disc rotor, so I finally decided to do it.
Overall, it's a good Pad.

I knew I would have to heat it up with the RACINGPad to hear it, but the temperature was much higher than I thought it would be It was highly dependent
It doesn't work at all as it slides by on the 1st pc's high speed Corner, so much so that I almost ran into it is
I installed it on a 400cc motorcycle, so you have to work very hard to get it warmed up
It works well when heated, so it's a good choice for those who run a large motorcycle such as a circuit I think it's recommended, but I think it's tough to warm up enough to flush Winding

OEM replacement is sufficient
Regardless of the weather, I feel that it shows stable performance.
In the case of luxury goods, they are being chamfered, but since this product has not been done, squeal etc etc. Measures are necessary if you are concerned.

I think that it is a good Pad with a deep breath
I bought it for brembo 4 pod 2 Pin Casting caliper.
I am using it in town riding Main such as commuting.
Compared to the superior Pad of Metallica and Plusμ that I used before, I liked the soft feeling exactly on the city ride.
I do not have a scene yet to apply intense Brake from high Speed ??at once but I feel that I will probably work without problems (Lol)
Metallica and Plus μ may be more powerful in terms of absolute braking power, but if Machine with no ABS, Rider is also an amateur, rather than Vesla may be easier to handle.
