i used a 415 chain before but after years of usage, the pin got so bad because lubrication cannot penetrate due to lots of dust and dirt inside the ring pin. But this RK 415 chain is the best chain due to its sealed ring thus no dust will get inside the pin which will make the usage longer and better! View detail

The new one is still Smooth.
I thought it was time to replace the OEM Chain and Sprocket, so I measured the dimensions of the Chain and found that it was 1mm before the elongation limit of the Manual Chain! So I replaced it.
CrimpTool was also purchased and installed with it. The new one is Smooth and nice just by turning the Tire - the push/pull feels like it moves smoothly.
It felt Smooth at the start, but this may be just my imagination.
Most importantly, Gold is beautiful and good!

Genuine D.I.D VX3 Gold 530 chain
It was the time to change out the chain and sprockets.I decided I would go for a VX3 gold chain this time as previously, I have gone with either the chrome or standard finish. This came up as a sale item and the 110 link was in stock. I found the correct chain and length by simply checking the bike's user manual and that was pretty much it. No need to go on Yamaha parts catalogue as some things, you should just know about the bikes in your househols you maintain. Although this is a heavy item, the shipping was pretty good and along with a couple of other small and light parts this worked out really well. I opted for EMS as they were a bit cheaper than my usual EMS. This was already in stock so arrived within like 5 days of ordering. Come on, 5 days from placing the order to arriving at my door in the UK. Brilliant. All the parts in the order were well packed and as I also had a couple of small parts in the order, Webike securely wrapped them individually so even if the chain moved in transit, the smaller parts would not come to harm. I had a quick look at the chain upon arrival and I was speechless. The gold is super nice, it just feels like quality. Why go with anyone else than DID when these guys know exactly what they are doing with chains. These chains are mt go to chains for replacements, the oEm ones are good but in my experience, DID is used most of the time anyway from stock bikes. The chain itself was well packaged, there was a lot of nice juicy lube on it and the movement of teh links was easy. Just what you want from a new chain. The chain obviously needed to lose a couple of links so it would fit the bike, pretty easy job if you have the correct tools. All fitted including the front and rear sporockets in less than an hour. With non-seal, the clattering sound would start if not stretched at least once in a day's practice, and there were many times when the one-tempo 13 delay in response to throttle operation was uncomfortable.
However, since it is a seal chain, there seems to be a slight loss of power, but this is not a problem for fan rides!

Easy to maintain
I have been interested in this product for a while but have not been able to purchase it, so I finally got it.
The installation was indeed done by Motorcycle shop.
I think it will be very easy to maintain the Chain from now on because only one Piece is a different color.
It was always Large strange to find a guideline, so now I can concentrate on Maintenance without worrying about it.
Quieter than OEM Chain.
I don't know how long it will last, but I will try to maintain it properly so that it will last as long as possible.
I think the Chain will eventually be sold out, so I am considering purchasing the Stock portion in the near future.

Excellent quality Extremely durable.
I have used these chains in the past and they seem to hold up fairly well ! I ride in very muddy conditions which are hard on most any chain and this one usually holds up well for a whole season of very harsh conditions ! So far, I have had over 5000km, mostly dirt, and balls out at that. I have only adjust once, and that was mostly chain guide wear, not chain. Inspected the master, and the grease was perfect inside the uw-ring/bushings. The Uw rings touch the plates in two spots where an Oring only touches in one. they keep the factory grease in and the dirt out. I only oil the chain to keep it from rusting on the outside. they do not seem to kink like a lot of chains do. NEVER use a power washer in the chain area though. we clean the bike with a simple water hose, a bucket of soapy water and brushes 99% of the time.They last forever as long as you clean with the hose or after each ride and then hit with some Lube after it dries. You need this and do not know it. I researched and determined this is one of the best products for me. This chain is the the perfect replacement for my old chain
I put DID vx3 chains on almost all my bikes. They have a good coating that keeps them from rusting and they tend to require less adjustment over time compared to others. I give it 5 starts because it comes with a clip-type master link that is unnecessarily tight and very difficult to install. The chain also comes coated in grease. Be sure to wipe it off before using the chain so it doesn't create a mess. It's a great quality chain. Arrived sooner than expected. It's the third one installed on KTM 990.
