It's hard to take off even though they're on
They do not have side zippers like regular lighting boots, but rather a tubular opening. In my case, I had a hard time taking them off after putting them on. View detail
Shift guard Shoes scratch protection
Buy L Size
I tried it on my regular Timberland Shoes,
It will loosen as you shift change, and even more so when you get off the Motorcycle and walk.
It loosens and falls out of the shoe.
It helped protect the shoes, but it is distracting and dangerous if they come loose while driving.
We strongly feel that measures to prevent dropouts are necessary.

Toe section too thick
Holdability of the ankle area is very good, but it is difficult to operate with a vengeance.
Thick from the toe to the instep, making it difficult to insert the Shift when moving up.

Hard to SHIFT UP
Was the one you received as per Image?
The actual product was thicker (taller) on the toe and Sole than the photo, giving a strong impression of safety shoes.
The reinforcement in the shift guard area is also noticeable and feels tacked on.
[How did you feel about the Fit?
Shoes "Tongue." The section opens 90-degrees, but only up to the middle.
And because the ankle portion of the MiddleCut is high and hard due to the girdle, it was hard for me with a high instep foot to wear even with the ankle fully open (that's why I chose 27.5cm, one size larger).
How was your experience with it?
The Sole part is quite high, and the toes are high enough (thick enough) that there is room for the fingertips to go up and down, making it difficult to SHIFT UP.
I have only used it once and regret purchasing it for this one thing.
I also did not like the large toe space, which diminishes the Direct feeling of operation.
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
I think some of the aforementioned operability has made a bad impression on me, but every day that passes since I bought them, they seem to have a safety shoe feel, or an old man's smell, or an old-fashioned Motorcycle gear is tacky." The impression of the "I" is increasing…….
How did it compare to other products?
I chose this shoe because of its low price, but I realized that I should have bought a shoe with a thinner Sole, such as some European Manufactures, and a design that reduces the height of the toe portion to enhance the Shift change operation.
【Cost performance】
Unfortunately, the direction of the shoes was slightly different from what I was looking for, but I think it is great that elf is a pioneer of this type of riding shoes with high cost performance.

Elf (elf) Compared to Riding shoes terre01
Elf (elf) Compared to riding shoes terre01, my personal opinion is that the toe is thicker and it catches during shift change. waterproof breathability has not been tested yet. boasystem is not so good. velcro also starts to hurt even if you fasten it normally. Velcro is also painful even if it is fastened normally. View detail
Color is different from the picture.
The color in the first image was different from the actual color.
It is the color that appears in the middle of the image, but I still think it is a good idea to post different color tones first.

Individual differences or...?
As mentioned in other reviews, the Shift PedalProtector cracked. I bought it last year, put it in hibernation for 6 months, and just started wearing it today (bought a year ago, less than 6 months of actual use) and this is what happened.
Only city touring, Zero for hard sports riding, and of course Zero for Off.
The only thing I can think of is storage conditions or quality issues, and if the others are the same, then it's the latter,
It's a shame because I have no problem with the comfort of the shoes, etc. I have another pair and would like to be careful about recurrence.

Size did not fit.
My normal shoe size is 28cm, so I bought them, but they didn't fit because of my high instep.
If it were a little wider and more spread out, I might get in, but I decided not to because the instep would be too tight and tiring anyway.
I thought you have to try on these items before you buy them.

Not suitable for Touring
It is not completely waterproof. Also, once wet, it does not dry easily. I think the normal model is better for touring main users. View detail
Too hard to use.
The first thing that surprised me was that it was too hard.
The range of motion of the ankle is on the Shift Pedal side of the Large tight Left, but it does not move at all....
The advertisement of Manufacturer says that it has a pivot structure and is easy to move back and forth, but it did not move at all.
Frankly, I was disappointed.

Size was tight.
I was worried about the size, but decided to go with S/M because I didn't want the toes to be too tight in the Large size. The shoe size is 25.5, so I thought the Large would be sturdy, but it is quite tight.
My calves are also thin, but they are still tight and my legs cramp up as if my circulation is slowing down.
Please refer to this page if you have trouble choosing a Size.

I want BOA to improve.
I usually wear 25.5cm and was OK with the same size.
No riding, no wearing, no walking, no discomfort.
It is very annoying to tighten up the laces and hide the extra laces round the Velcro straps if you want to make a bad point.
The Velcro came off and the extra strap got caught in the footpeg while riding and almost caused a standing mock-up.
I thought it was not suitable for riding shoes for motorcycle.
I would like to see an improvement to BOA, which is used in many Shoes these days.

There's a hole right through it.
After I got off my motorcycle, I could not tell it was for a motorcycle, but it quickly developed a hole where the Shift Pedal hits. View detail
Bracket2 has been removed.
Several times with Touring use.
Bracket was removed in two places. It is a pity.

You might as well buy Large fineness.
After the arrival of the product, I put my feet in the L (26.0cm-26.5cm) It was Small in Size. I'm usually a 26.0cm. The design is cool. I'll be returning them and ordering the LL again. View detail
Don't expect GAERNE to be easy to control.
I was able to buy a Sale item at less than half price through P.I., but it was completely different from what I expected, and there was no difference between the cheap Solidly Gibbs Boots and the Large ones, I was disappointed. The foot shape is also long and narrow, and it does not fit well, even more disappointing. View detail
It's hard for a big man or a muscular man.
I used it with AlpineTEC7 and podk4. Because my legs are thick, I felt quite tight and took it off in about an hour.
When I gave it to a slender friend, he was pleased to see that it hardly contained any mud etc. debris.
This is one product that I would like to see more Variations in Size.

Not good
PreviousQuantity:I can't use it with BootsBelt bought in the set, the Size of Hook is too small
The Hook came off yesterday, I'm tightening it up but it's only a matter of time before it falls off while running
As the years go by, it's getting better and worse as it gets better
It doesn't work

I feel uncomfortable wearing them
Design is a good purchase, but the Fastener clamps badly on one side and I felt pressure when I closed the Fastener and my legs hurt when I closed it 。 It is not suitable for long distance touring View detail
Is it better than nothing?
When I ride normally I bought it because it is a bash so I thought Cover to toe, but I did not feel Fit, Gap. I'm pretty interested in driving. I wonder if it's for Work boots? It's a bit disappointing though it's a DEGNER product. View detail
