Quality control or packaging issues
Installation is Level, which is fine for Beginner.
No special problems with the feel of the product.
However, there is a relatively noticeable scratch on the base plate section….
Was the shipping check lax, or was the packaging messy and damaged in transit?
It's not a practical problem, but ….
The mood is lowered by the relatively expensive components.

Installation is a pain in the ass
The bag does not come with an Adapter to attach to Easy Lock, so you have to attach it yourself. Moreover, there is not even a hole for processing, and you have to drill a hole by Drilletc. before installing it. It is extremely unfriendly. The price is also high. View detail
RearCarrierQuantity:Pair (for Left and Right) The bracket does not align with the base mounting holes on the top case.
I purchased this product to install GIVI's Mono-lock case 47 on my F900XR. I would like to comment on the installation process and the state of use.
(1) RearCarrier's Bracket is LeftOnly Right and Quantity:Pair (for Left and Right) Since there is no Bracket to link the Quantity:Pair (for Left and Right) There is some difficulty in determining the horizontal state of the Bracket.
The ?Instruction Manual is somewhat confusing.Quantity:Pair (for Left and Right) It would be good if the distinction between Bracket and the reverse side is clearly indicated.
(3) Base plate hole and quantity on the bottom of Top case:Pair (for Left and Right) Bracket holes are FrontQuantity:Pair (for Left and Right) Two of them fit, but not the Rear. However, the Rear hole was not inserted, and since the Bolt hole was shifted from the normal position, I am not sure about its strength.
Also, the position cannot be adjusted back and forth.
?There are no strength or other problems so far in using Top case, but the position of Top case is quite high.
I would like to see the Bracket extending to the rear of the vehicle reshaped so that it is lower. Also, the Top case is slightly further rearward than the rear wheels.

It's hard to close.
If the handle is not intentionally hooked inward when closing, it may not be properly tightened and locked.
Quantity Lever to occupy the lid:It is often frustrating because it often doesn't Set and lock instantly.
The capacity is sufficient to hold a full face in Size XL and +α to hold other things.

For fixing Base plate
I bought this to put a base plate on another Motorcycle.
It was very helpful that you sell them as Repair Parts, since they contain special Washers, etc.

Smaller than expected.
Complete lack of confirmation on our part, even though the dimensions are listed.
A 21:9 portrait smartphone can just barely fit in the front pocket without a Case.
With Compact Case, it is almost hopeless.
The pocket in the back of the room overhangs.
I bought it with great pleasure as a case to store my large phone when touring, but I…...
The thing itself is well made, so I will think of another way to use it!

Not applicable for the 2022 model year.
The 2022 model is not in the fitment, but I bought it and the only result is that it's not unusable, but it's not fit.
The 2018 and 2022 side covers should have the exact same shape, but I think the 18 year model will be too bulky to fit the side cover properly since it will be tucked under this side cover to begin with.
How about this for a fit, Mr. SHAD….
Well, you can't force it to fit and use the box.
I didn't like how bulky it was, so I cut the side cover where the M8Screw fastens with a cutter to make it less bulky, but this allowed rainwater to come in and I couldn't attach the cover above the cover, so there was a huge gap under the seat. I bought a separate side cover, but I'm wondering if I should re-drill the holes.
Also, is the shape of the cover that fits over the side cover wider between the '18 and '22 models?
I wonder if I should buy an '18 Cover since I can see the whole hole when I remove the Cover?
Incidentally, for some reason, the OEM Grab Bar that can be used on the '18 and later models is also not usable comfortably unless the Left Side is slightly hit by the Grab Bar and two Washers are bit into it.
The holes that are exposed can be plugged with the parts that come with the Grab Bar.
It is better to remove the OEM Grab Bar because it makes it even harder to fit the RearSeat with the OEM Grab Bar. I don't remove it that often, so it's just a matter of mood.
If I had to make a hole anyway, I wanted to find a more decent place to mount it.
I would recommend it to a friend, but if you want a Side box, you can put it on.

QC CRAP!
About quality and texture I bought this as an alternative to $expensive$ luggage kits. I used it with oxford soft saddle bags. Later on to be used with refashioned, custom saddle bags for a stylish look, which would be harder to fit to proprietary equipment such as GIVI. Hence use of a simpler mechanism such as this one Easy to install, although instructions were in japanese It fundamentally works as intended, but its very heavy, pure steel construction. unfortunately, on this brand new product I found chips in the paint, welding is of low quality upon arrival. Sure its cheaper than other options, but the weld should not be so cruddy that i could have made my own one of same quality for a quarter of the price and my own time. You will see the welding yourself in my photo, judge for yourself. I think this product has a higher weight-limit than it is listed, because the steel rod is very thick and heavy. The unprofessional welding will fail before that bends. I have had mine 3+ months with no failures. shipping was pretty fast from JP to AUS. I don't recommend this product to anyone with spare time and equipment to fasten and tap metal. Just do it yourself as the price is simply not justified. Be careful with shorty style exhaust, as with large saddle bags the bottom of the bag can melt in this setup if is not heat-resistant. I can smell mine burning sometimes on a hot day sitting in traffic, lol. View detail

1.Request for improvement on Material2.?Cover! Yes
I am completely satisfied with the product and have no problems using it except in the rain.
I think it will be even easier to use if you improve the other two points!
The side material is uneven, which makes it easy for sand and dust to accumulate, and even if you wipe it off, you cannot remove the fine sand that has gotten into the fabric.
2.?When using the Cover in rainy weather, water rolled up from the side of the Tire and collected under the Cover and could not be drained, resulting in water seeping under the bag and wetting the interior. Since water accumulates considerably, it is necessary to turn over the bottom side of the bag and drain it when taking a rest in SAetc.!
Therefore, we think it would be more comfortable to use in the rain if you put 2 or 3 eyelet holes on the underside of the cover so that it can drain naturally. We hope you will consider this improvement.

I think the structure that allows the key to lock even when it is not completely closed is defective.
I have used several types of LargeSmall cases for GIVI products, but this is the first time for me to use the MonoLock type.
The old locking mechanism of early products, where the lock would get caught on something and prevent the door from opening, has been eliminated, but the fact that the door is locked even when it is not locked is a large drawback. Of course, the root cause is that the user does not check the well, but when I was in a hurry, I ran thinking that I had closed the door and was in a hurry to see if I had lost something after arriving at the destination.
It would be nice if the structure of the key could not be turned if it is not locked as in other companies' products, but I wonder Large why such a structure was chosen.

I'm not happy with the accuracy
I purchased this product to distance myself from the Exhaust System.
The holes are gapped when inserting the Nut, making installation difficult.
However, it is Steel and rigid, so it is safe.

It was too long for MONKEY.
It is convenient to attach it to carriers of various sizes, but it is too long for MONKEY carriers, so I have to cut the string.
Since they are expensive, it is better to make your own with UniversalParts.

Good as a stop lamp, although contact failure occurred at the open/close contact point.
Purchased as a retrofit for GIVIMonokeyV47.
(Please keep that in mind as you read this, as it may just be a problem with the one I purchased.)
The evaluation was lowered due to incomplete contact of the contacts in the BOX open/close section, which did not function or not function.
As a result, this open/close contact is discarded and the original Stop lamp function is usable by direct connection with a cord.
Is there a need to put a contact Switch on the opening and closing part of the Box in the first place? I would like to ask the development team.
I hope you understand how long it took me to figure out the phenomenon of the Stop lamp not coming on even though the power is on and solve the problem by directly connecting it by my own work.
As for installation, I think it is better to ask PRO to do it because it requires some skill.
Failures may occur that cannot be handled by amateurs.
Detailed impressions below
0 Installation
LED Lamp Installation:Easy
Wiring:The inside of V47 is uneven, making it troublesome to put together (wiring fixture must be purchased separately).
Open/close contacts:As mentioned above, we believe that when the BOX open/close part is completely closed, the contact is just a little bit bad and the power will not be energized.
Carrier side contact point:It is a hard work to make a hole on the box side and the carrier base side, but it is no problem if BALI is handled.
Wire connection with MotorcycleBody:I purchased a coupler separately and connected it.
0Stop lamp function
Safety is our top priority, and since Chest is willing to invest in safety even if it costs gold, we really wanted a stop lamp for the box.
If it's this expensive, I'd like to add a Blinker function.
We have a GIVIUniversalBaseplate installed on a HondaFORZA250 OEM carrier, and the box is close to the stop lamp, so it is difficult to check the stop lamp from a higher vehicle such as a truck.
0Others
Since the Gold amount is high, it is still better to eliminate the open/close contacts and reduce in cost by using direct wiring.
The open/close contact point may be good for parenthesis, but it eats up space inside the box, and depending on the cargo inside, there is a risk of damaging the box by applying force when opening and closing it.
I can recommend it to my friend if I am supposed to accompany my friend to install it.
I really want a Box retrofit for the Stop lamp, but I don't have the sukill experience to make it completely myself, so overall I am glad I bought this product, which is sold as a GIVIOEMKit.

Zipper is too small and difficult to install.
The zipper on the body side and the zipper on the body side are joined together, but it's hard to attach the zipper on the body side anyway! I have a feeling that the zipper will eventually get chewed up and I won't be able to use it anymore! I think it would be easier to use a Zipper with a larger diameter. View detail
