Purchasing of this cam chain tensioner roller allowed for the continued use of my super chain chain tensioner
About quality and texture - The cam chain tensioner roller from SP Takegawa is made from a hard rubber bonded onto a steel center, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect. About the feeling of use - The purchasing of this cam chain tensioner roller allowed for the continued use of my super chain chain tensioner after the roller was showing signs of wear and saved my purchasing a complete replacement which is ideal considering the cost compared to the repair part. Products to buy together - Parts within the cam chain tensioner system suffer significant wear with engine upgrades that allow for much higher RPM riding and a key product to buy together with the cam chain tensioner roller is the cam chain tensioner push rod head that SP Takegawa also sell as a repair part. Difficulty of installation - The installation of the cam chain tensioner roller is an advanced task that took 1 hour to complete due to the disassembly of the engine required to access the area in which the super chain chain tensioner is installed. Mechanical aptitude and the use of a special tool and basic hand tools is what is required to secure the roller to the tensioner. Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products and the cam chain tensioner roller is no different. About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the cam chain tensioner roller, I chose EMS for an earlier arrival date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs. From service parts to performance products and even motorcycle gear and apparel, Webike always seem to satisfy my needs in regards to availability and pricing. View detail

I was hoping?
In the product introduction photo, it looks like a Push rod Rubber.
I was expecting Large...
After installation, I checked and it was only half hit.
In the first place, half of them seem to be hit even in NORMAL.
I got the impression that there were a few more hit surfaces, but not as many as I had hoped for.
The construction is good, but it's not surprising considering the price.
Cost performance is poor
Hoping for a protective effect?
I gave it a 3 star rating.

The larger 181cc displacement cylinder combined with the 4-Valve piston out performs the original setup with ease
About quality and texture - The 181cc 4-Valve cylinder kit from SP Takegawa is made from cast aluminium, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect. About the feeling of use - The larger 181cc displacement cylinder combined with the 4-Valve piston out performs the original setup with ease. This is part of my most power engine setup but comes at the cost of a higher maintenance schedule. Products to buy together - The key product to buy together with the 181cc 4-Valve cylinder kit is the X-Beam connecting rod crankshaft from SP Takegawa. This kit when added to the original crankshaft increases the chances of failure but this can be lower when the X-Beam connecting rod crankshaft is installed. Difficulty of installation - The installation of the 181cc 4-Valve cylinder kit is an advanced task that took 0.7 of an hour to complete due to the preparation and alignment of the piston rings. Mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to secure piston to the crankshaft and fit in the cylinder. Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products but this is not the case with the 181cc 4-Valve cylinder kit due to the higher performance the kit outputs. About shipping and packaging - With there being a significant cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the 181cc 4-Valve cylinder kit, I chose sea freight for a cost saving. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box. About quality and texture - The X-Beam connecting rod crankshaft from SP Takegawa is made from forged steel with a shot-peened surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect. About the feeling of use - The X-Beam connecting rod crankshaft install has been on my to do list for a while now and I am relieved to now have it fitted along side my top end big bore kit. Products to buy together - A key product to buy together with the X-Beam connecting rod crankshaft is the crankshaft support adapter that SP Takegawa also sell, this will add support the left side of the crankshaft and reduce vibration. Difficulty of installation - The installation of the X-Beam connecting rod crankshaft is an advanced task that took many hours to complete due to the extensive disassembly of the engine. Mechanical aptitude and the use of special tooling and basic hand tools is what is required to secure the X-Beam connecting rod crankshaft to the crankcase. The breather cap is a work of art to look at in it's design and finishes
About quality and texture - The breather cap from SP Takegawa is made from billet aluminium with precision machining and an anodized surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect. About the feeling of use - The breather cap is a work of art to look at in it's design and finishes and combined with an oil catch tank has resolved my engine oil loss caused from high RPM riding by allowing the oil vapour generated during this period of riding to be directing back to the engine via the clutch cover. Products to buy together - A key product to buy together with the breather cap is a oil catch tank that will allow for the collection and separation of the oil from the vapour output from the engine. Difficulty of installation - The installation of the breather cap is a simple task that took 0.2 of an hour to complete. Common sense and the use of basic hand tools is all that is required to secure the breather cap to the clutch cover. Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the breather cap is no different. The design of this breather cap with it's rotating barbed hose fitting is what sets it apart from the others. Is perfectly sized for engine breathing applications when connecting to the factory barbed hose fitting
About quality and texture - The 8mm breather hose from SP Takegawa is made from a soft rubber material with reinforced strands featuring a clear finish and the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect. About the feeling of use - The 8mm breather hose is perfectly sized for engine breathing applications when connecting to the factory barbed hose fitting and the majority of other breather system barbed hose fittings, like on my Honda Monkey 125 but is only to be used with air systems and not oil or fuel. Products to buy together - The 8mm breather hose does require to be firmly secured to the hose fitting, the use of zip ties is not my preferred method as a permanent solution so the use of specifically sized 13mm hose clamps from SP Takegawa is what I would recommend. Difficulty of installation - The installation of the 8mm breather hose is a simple task that took 0.5 of an hour to complete. Some slight mechanical aptitude and the use of a measuring device, cutting tool and sandpaper to neatly finish the hose ends off is how I like to carry out the task for my breather hose fitment. Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the 8mm breather hose is no different. A reasonable quantity of 1m with no lapse in quality. About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the 12mm breather hose, I chose EMS for a earlier arrival date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - For my location, purchasing common use products like this from Webike Japan is the best option even when taking into account the shipping cost, as I find local stores tend not to stock products I can use on my Monkey 125 or they are priced higher the majority of the time. I am satisfied
I purchased the Silver color.
It is easy to install and replace if you have a hexagonal spanneretc.
The OEM can be pinched and turned by hand to free it, which also prevents some tampering.
Material:Because it is an aluminum product, the very beginner should be careful not to tighten it too much.
Since the OEM product is plastic, aluminum billet parts have been used to improve the texture considerably.
Single item is a world of self-satisfaction, but if used in combination with other fine parts
I think the overall texture will be improved.
Large parts require large machining accuracy and packing material.
I think SP Mukawa will be able to help us in this regard.
I don't know about durability yet, so I'll give it 4 stars.

Perfectly sized for reduced hose size engine breathing applications
About quality and texture - The hose connector from SP Takegawa is made from a hard plastic material with a transparent white finish and the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect. About the feeling of use - The hose connector is perfectly sized for engine breathing applications where you have a regular sized hose that is required to be reduced to to a smaller hose for your small barbed hose fittings on your oil catch tank or air filter pod, which I have both of on my Honda Monkey 125 but is only to be used with air systems and not oil or fuel. Products to buy together - The hose connector does require to be firmly secured to the breather hose, the use of zip ties is not my preferred method as a permanent solution so the use of specifically sized 9.5mm and 13mm hose clamps from SP Takegawa is what I would recommend. If you can install it correctly, with all the amenities.
Overall, it's awesome if you have the right dynotuner, stage 1 upgrades. Unfortunately, where I'm living has a bunch a monkey wrenches looking for the booku and trying to take advantage. Would like to learn how to work on my own bike, (no time) but yeah it's really fantastic, it was good for a time until I was overly eager to keep upgrading. I had it plugged on a Honda Future 125fi, which is mostly the same engine as the Monkey or Grom. View detail

Takegawa do it again, top quality great engineering.
Top Quality parts, but most of all well engineered to create a cohesive outcome, there are many options out there but this piston from Takegawa maintains a great combustion chamber shape with the stock head, and includes a relief for the spark plug (so no spark plug spacer required). The result is a engine that runs as good as OEM Honda but has just a bit more go everywhere. In my specific kit the piston rings were mostly ok to go out of the box, If I was being picky I'd say the top ring was a tiny bit tight and the second ring was a tiny bit loose, the oil rings were perfect. As a result I opened up the top ring from 0.009" to 0.01" only becuase its going into a CT125 which naturally runs hot vs GROM/Monkey. But I think I could have run the rings out of the box and probably had zero issues. I also like that the piston is 4 grams lighter than the stock piston, this means the motor runs very smooth with little vibration. The N-15 cam is perfect for a OEM plus feeling, I've tried a range more agressive cams and the bottom end always suffers, in my opinion that does not suit the charater of the CT125 however, this N-15 cam is perfect for the CT125 imo. I like this kit so much I'm considering buying a second to keep in stock as nothing lasts forever. View detail
