SP Takegawa's tensioner arm is made from high strength super durable aluminum material and is precision machined to increase the thickness of the arm to increase the strength of the arm body and also increase the contact area with the push rod.
This reduces the risk of the rubber at the end of the push rod caving in or breaking, and greatly improves the life of the push rod.
Oil holes are provided on the arm body to lubricate the operating parts with oil.
The surface of the arm is hard anodized.
