ZX14 remedy for heavy clutch lever.
The stock size of the piston on slave is 35.7mm. Small changes here have big gains. K-Factory slave is 36.4mm with teflon wear ring that reduces friction. This already gives a good gain. I went with combination of RCS(Ratio Click System) 18 or 20 mm on the master. This will give options and keeps the lever travel shorter as the bigger slave has the negative side effect of increasing the travel on the lever. This to keep the travelclose to stock and the piston design was the key for choosing K-Factory over Oberon that has whopping 38mm piston. That is way too much in my opinion but if you are only changing the slave then maybe but I think even so I would go with K-Factory. The quality appears lot better on K-Factory. View detail
The murkiness may have been eliminated.
This is a replacement for a 2016 NORMAL release.
The oil in the clutch becomes muddy quickly.
I replaced it from NORMAL.
Some murkiness so far.
Not as much as before.
I guess we'll see how it goes with the Oil changed again.
I think it is better than NORMAL.
To be honest, I don't feel that the grip has become lighter.
It might be good if you have the same problem.

Best clutch release piston for old DUCATI
I am using this product on my DUCATI 996R. The clutch operation, which was heavy, has become lighter and easier. When I hold the clutch lever, it feels considerably lighter. I feel the clutch lever stroke for meet timing is farer compared to STD one, but I don't feel so much discomfort. a little longer, but I don't feel so much discomfort. I think many people feel that the clutch is basically heavy on older DUCATI models. This is recommended for such people. View detail
Clutch releaseOVER replaced with K-FACTORY
Although I preferred the appearance of the previous model, I bought it because it seems that they took measures to prevent the Piston and Cylinder from rubbing against each other.
(All three units previously used had Fluid leaks.)
When I installed it and checked the operation, the Clutch wouldn't cut...
After much trial and error, a 2mm thick shim was inserted between the Release piston and the Clutch push rod.
I managed to get it running...
Is this really for ZEPHYR1100...
I have been using K-FACTRYx3 OVERx1 clutch release but never had this symptom!
I hope to see improvements in the future ...

A little more than NORMAL …
I exchanged it with Release, which was tired, but I didn't feel any change of lightening, only that Clutch became harder to cut and I felt lighter.
I'm sure a certain Germany Release will be lighter.
It's fine for a makeshift replacement, but I wouldn't recommend it for a long term relationship.

Clutch is now much lighter!
When I replaced it with Nisshin's Radial master cylinder, the clutch became much lighter, but it became harder to turn off the clutch when touring long distances due to aging, getting used to the clutch, or losing grip due to age. There was no review of GSX1400, but I decided to buy it because it was highly rated by other companies.
My Motorcycle has a Sprocket cover replaced with Other Brand Product, so it was easy to replace it.
I chose Black because I have a Gold Sprocket cover and I thought Black would look good with Gold, and I was right!
The effect is much lighter, and I used to cut Clutch with three fingers, but now I can cut Quantity.:Even with 2pc it looks like it could run a long distance.

I think Clutch has lightened up a bit.
I bought this one with a slightly larger diameter than the OEM one because it is very hard on my Left hand when I frequently turn off the Clutch in town or in traffic.
The installation was done by Dealer.
Instruction Manual is a CNCRACING product, so a simple one is Quantity:1pc. was.
It has been 3 or 4 years since installation and there is no fading of the Anodized.
After installation, Clutch seems a little lighter, but you will be disappointed if you expect it to be much lighter.

I was concerned about the weight of the Normal clutch and replaced it along with the Mesh hose. This time, I will give additional impressions after using it for half a year.

It is indeed OVER Parts. The quality is high, and it is more luxurious than Image.
Was the installation difficult?
The NORMAL clutch piston did not come off easily, and I had a hard time, but I managed to replace it.
How was your experience with it?
I changed the lever and mesh hose at the same time, so it was hard to tell the difference, but after 6 months of running, I feel that the fatigue of my left hand is much reduced when touring.
I could feel the difference as it is about the same stiffness as the Clutch of a 125ccSmall TypeMotorcycle.

Grease up is a must, and I wish Grease had been included anyway.
After installing the clutch, I thought it was too subtle due to the change in the touch of the clutch, but after 6 months of driving, I finally got used to the feeling of the clutch. I am recommending this product because it has made my long-distance touring much easier.

The quality is fine with Aluminum Cut-out, but the effect is not as good as I had hoped...
I replaced it with Mesh hose, so I can feel the difference in Touch, but I honestly don't know if it is lighter.
The Piston diameter has become LARGER, so it must be 10% lighter! I decided to assume that it was 10% lighter than before.

I forgot to write something in my last post, so I'll add it.
I forgot about it because it's not a problem to worry about so much once the installation is done perfectly.
First of all, this Release was sent in a crimped Vinyl bag, but when I took it out of the bag, the Piston was stuck and would not move! I thought about it for a while, and then I tried to pneumatically pressurize it, but it wouldn't work! Then I sprayed it with CRC. Then I sprayed it with CRC, put on a plastic head that matched the size of the pistons, and used a gold hammer to delicately tap it. Then I put the head of the plastic that fit the size on the head.
Thanks to this, the Wound of the pliers came on before I used it.
Sorry for all the bad reviews, but I'm writing the facts.
If you don't apply Grease etc. when shipping, you should do something. If you don't have a process to apply the Grease, you should do something about it.

You think a Type K is a bad idea for a ZrX1200R?
About 8 years ago, I used KFACTORY's Clutch releaseA?Type and K-FAQ's Sprocket cover, but after 10000km, the Release leaked fluid. The cause is that the rubber ring of the piston in the release is worn out, and the piston interferes with the outside parts and there is a gap.
After that I went back to NORMAL and used the 14R Release.
This time, I ordered kType to change back to Aluminum Cut-out for Sprocket. As a result, I couldn't cut the clutches with Type K even though Type A is just right. However, NORMAL Sprocket cover + Type K can be used.
KFACTORY, what I'm trying to say is that Release and Sprocket cover add up to a very high price! You should display the compatibility exactly.
It's not a matter of just being able to use it.
By the way, the bolt of Release is too short to be attached to KFACTORY's Sprocket cover. This means that KFACTORY has known about it from the beginning, but they didn't disclose it to the public. That's right!
If I knew that, I wouldn't have paid 28,000 for it.
KFACTORY's Axle Slider also had one short bolt and could not be installed at times.
My faith in KFACTORY is gone, which is a shame because the Design Sense is great.

I thought it would be a NORMAL release, but K-Factory still had a part that would fit an old motorcycle like mine, and I had been curious about it for a while, so I took the plunge and bought it. Originally, I had a brembo instead of the OEM clutch, so it doesn't change much, but I'm happy with how it looks, although it is a bit expensive! I'll send pictures next time if I can send them.
