Non-seal for Racer, surprisingly long-lasting

Non-seal for use in Race, surprisingly long-lasting
I use it on my KLX230R to Race and to ride on the Course. The lightweight Non-seal Chain has less resistance and is not as durable, but after replacing it with this Chain, I have run 1.5 hours of G650 XCOUNTRYRace, 2 hours of Enduro race, and 10 hours of Others practice run, and it still seems to work well. I feel that this is indeed DID reliability. Another important thing is that the non-seal chain is less expensive. I think I will Repeat with the same Chain for my next replacement. View detail

I replaced it with a DID ERVT about a year after purchasing it, and after running it for over two full years, the plating was worn out and it looked very tired, so I replaced it with a new one.
I didn't feel particularly dissatisfied even before the replacement, but I still thought the new Chain was damaged to a certain extent because the tension of the Chain seemed different when compared.
Replacing the Chain with a beautiful Chain with Gold plating makes me feel good and it is more pleasant to run in a clean condition.
However, I am not a fan of Clip type Chain installation.
Sprocket is set from NORMAL to 50T and LARGE, so it is set from NORMAL 106 to 108 LINK.

Very smooth movement!
The Chain installed on DRZ400sm which I bought used was EK520-SRX2. So I replaced it with Rear Sprocket.
It was my first time to use FJClip, but I have used ClipSpec. for Road motorcycle and Downhill Motorcycle Chain, so I had no problem with the replacement procedure.
However, the Chain Cut & Crimp tool was used for this work, and the amount of press-in must be checked to make sure it is aligned with the front and rear plates, so it is better to work carefully.
After the replacement, I was surprised again when I turned the wheel by hand to check the rotation.
The Rear Sprocket has been changed to 44T→41T, but the running fee ring has improved to a Large width.
The wobbly feeRing at low speed and low RPM driving has also been improved to Large width, making it easier to ride.
I think it is of sufficient quality and performance, although I think it is rather affordable for Chain.

Cost-effective
Replaced with SUNSTAR Chain after 15,000 km as the OEM Chain had outgrown it.
The front and rear Sprockets were also replaced with Kawasaki OEM at the same time.
The effect of replacing the Chain, which had been fully extended, is that it is able to transmit power very smoothly.

The new one is still Smooth.
I thought it was time to replace the OEM Chain and Sprocket, so I measured the dimensions of the Chain and found that it was 1mm before the elongation limit of the Manual Chain! So I replaced it.
CrimpTool was also purchased and installed with it. The new one is Smooth and nice just by turning the Tire - the push/pull feels like it moves smoothly.
It felt Smooth at the start, but this may be just my imagination.
Most importantly, Gold is beautiful and good!

It is used for KX250.
I switched from Non-seal and it is really good.
After initial elongation, you can concentrate on your practice with little or no elongation.
With non-seal, the clattering sound would start if not stretched at least once in a day's practice, and there were many times when the one-tempo 13 delay in response to throttle operation was uncomfortable.
However, since it is a seal chain, there seems to be a slight loss of power, but this is not a problem for fan rides!
I should have used it earlier!

Off-road has Recommendation
I have been using it on my ktm350exc f and it is light enough not to be a seal chain, so I bought it for my 250exc this time.
It was 118LINK, but I have it set to FrontSprocket12, so I did 2Cut.
The durability is Class I. It's Large sturdy for 2 years in the local 10,000-year NA, and it will probably last 3 years, although there is some stretch depending on the Race.
Instead, we always clean and oil the car after washing.
Also, a Crimp tool is needed because it will not fit without a press fit.

*Motivation to purchase
I felt that the top and bottom of the individual LINKs were quite worn, so I thought it was time to replace them.
The 0 distance was also used up to less than 6000 km, including city driving, but it reached 7000 km and practice, because it is used in a harsher environment than usual in Race, Won't it deteriorate quickly?" Because I thought it was a good idea.
0 because I bought the car new in 2014 and have not replaced the Chain once.
The reason was to avoid wasting money for en-bird-ing when the chain ran out during the race.

0Comparing the pins that were press-fitted into the normal chain, we selected the shortest pin with the least amount of grinding effort, and used a micro grinder to grind it down to the LINK surface.
The initial extrusion was done with Riveter of 0 Chain Tool.
0 Then extruded with 3.8mmPin and cut the Chain.
I have tried to push out a 3.8mm pin without shaving the press-fit pin and without using a Riveter, but the pin was bent.
The Instruction Manual for handling the chain showed a diagram of connecting the cut chain and the new chain with a light press-fit clip, then pulling the old chain and replacing it with the new one, I removed the old Chain and replaced it with the new Chain.
Connect the chain with a light press-fit clip. When connecting the Chain, please do not forget to apply the attached special grease generously.
The LINK is inserted easily because it is a light press-fit, but the groove for fixing the LINK with the Clip does not come out just by pressing it down by hand.
0Chain ToolQuantity:Use the press plate of the set to apply pressure to the Both Sides of the light press-fit LINK to create a groove for the O-ring to fit into.
0After applying moderate pressure once, the groove was visible even after removing the press plate, so the Clip could be inserted with Long Nose Pliers without any problem.
*Feelings after use
When I tried turning the Wheel with the Piston of the Neutral Brake Caliper in the Zero GEAR in the widened state, I felt less resistance than with the Normal chain, and the time it spins seems to be slightly longer.
0 sound is also lighter than the normal chain, as if there is less resistance. (Sounds like Non-seal Chain) The first time I saw a new building, I felt like I was in the middle of the street.
I haven't ridden much since the 0 change, so I don't have a definite sense of what it feels like yet. However, I feel that the inertial progress with the clutch off was better when going over logs/stirs.
0It seemed that the progress on long downhill was Smooth, and the operation felt easy.

I was curious about this since Chain was Released.

I DID have the best of both worlds.
Purchased to try if I wanted to become a fourth ChainManufacturer.
It is less expensive than other 3Manufacturer.
I have already Converted from 525 to 520, so I bought 520-112.
What is different from the other three manufacturers is the thickness of the seal.
When I try to exchange them by connecting them with Tie Wrap, the widths do not match and I can't connect them. The roller widths are the same since they are the same 520.
I skipped 1 LINK and gave it a lap.
Included Parts:Crimp pieces, Seal and Grease.
Some Manufacturers do not come with Grease, which is appreciated.
However, this grease is hard. It is hard to wipe off excess grease.
Chain Cut & Crimp tool for crimping and crimping is the same process as the others.
After assembling, the seal is still thick. I feel uncomfortable when I lubricate it.
