OH of DAYTONANISSIN Master Cylinder
The BrakeTouch on my Z650 (Zapper) is getting worse, so I thought I would use the DAYTONANISSINMaster Cylinder OH and bought a repair kit.
Replacement is not particularly difficult if you have Snap Ring Pliers. It is more time-consuming to bleed the air after replacement.
Comparing the removed parts with the new seals, we found that the elasticity of the rubber and the tension of the rips were stiffer on the new seals, indicating that they had deteriorated to a certain degree.
Touch has improved a lot with the replacement, so I think it was effective to do it.
However, the DAYTONANISSINMaster Cylinder (different piston size) used in another vehicle (GN125H)
No deterioration of Touch despite longer use than Z650.
The degree of deterioration varies widely depending on the vehicle used, the use of brakes, and the piston size of the MASTER.

Overhaul of Semi-radial master
It has been about 5 years since I replaced the front master with a semi-radial, so I decided to overhaul it.
Once the master has been removed from the vehicle, remove the reservoir tank and lever that are in the way of the work, and remove the pump part only. After that, clean the cylinder part, install the new kit in the reverse order of disassembly, fasten the new kit with the snap ring provided, and fit the boot. I applied a light coat of metal rubber to the rubber part of the inner parts before installing. If you take the parts of the stock master, you have to install the supplied packing by yourself, so you have to be careful not to damage the packing when installing.
After the pump part is assembled, the lever and reserver tank are installed. After this, it's time to install the fluid in the car body, and then continue with the tedious air venting process.
I finished the whole process and did a test run, and it worked fine. There is no visible improvement, but I can use it with peace of mind for the time being.
The key point to remember when working with these parts is that the boots are new in the kit, so you can handle them roughly if they are difficult to roll up. However, the white plastic parts in the center of the Inner Spring are not attached to the Kit and need to be reused, so you need to handle them carefully.
Needless to say, Brakes can be dangerous if they malfunction, so if you choose to Rose them yourself, do so carefully and at your own risk.

Rose, clean the inside of Cylinder cleanly and Woundetc. If there is, polish with a fine paper along the direction of the circle.
Do not polish in the direction of Piston's movement.
The only difference from Brake master is that Spring has direction. Please set so that it fits neatly in Pin.
When assembling, apply Brake fluid as a lubricant to Cup.
Make sure that Circlip is properly assembled After confirming that Piston moves to Smooth, if there is no problem, apply Silicon grease to Primary and cover Boots.
All is assembled and it is firmly bleed.
