It protects the vehicle body.
[How is it used?
We removed and replaced the Y's Gear Engine Guard (steel) that was installed 18 years ago when we purchased the car new.
It is made of steel, so it was rusting, although I never damaged it by falling.
Was the one you received as per Image?
It is a solid product that appears to be rigid.
Was the installation difficult?
I asked Right-arm in Nishi-Tokyo City, and I feel safer asking PRO to do it.
How was your experience with it?
I will know how it feels when I fall down, but I haven't fallen down yet.
I did some research and found out that unlike the steel Engine Guard, the Pad slides and protects the body of the vehicle by shaving it. I also like the fact that it is not flashy.
[Included Parts:were they on?
None
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
None in particular

It would be better to have it installed by a Motorcycle shop with proper Torque management.

!!! Backbone Frame needs attention!
In case of an accident, install the Engine slider MORIWAKI Skid Pad recommended by the dealer first. I put on the engine slider MORIWAKI Skid Pad, which is recommended by the dealer, first, in case the engine slider falls over, but it is not as strong as the Engine Guard. The Bolt entered the gap and damaged the screw hole by 3mm, and I had to repair the new car with Tap. The CB1000R had a mono-backbone frame, and the technology of frame simulation by computer analysis has made a great leap forward in the past few years, analyzing even the point where the frame bends, and then developing an engine fastening method and pivot plate installation structure that does not interfere with that bending. The engine is suspended from the frame like a spine and is held in place by six bolts. I was stupid, but I wanted at least a warning in the instruction manual. Slider installation was completed. I doubt if this will protect the body from tipping over, but I hope it will prevent at least a standing fall. View detail
MORIWAKI、Skid Pad
The product arrived earlier than expected, which was very helpful. I would like to use your service again. View detail
The Silhouette of Motorcycle is not destroyed but has a certain presence.
■About Installation
Structurally, the Level is not difficult and can be easily performed with tools.
However, since the bolts are on the engine mount side, proper tightening with a torque wrench is essential.
Then I think it would be a good idea to ask at Shop for general work Level.
Reference:Tightening Torque:44.1Nm (4.5kgf-m) *In case of ZEPHYR400X
(I don't have a Torque wrench so I asked for one at the Shop.)
About the effect
I have never fallen down wearing this, so I don't know how effective it is.
The original purpose was to”reduce”trauma Damage to the Engine block in the event of a fall,
Quickly move the vehicle off the road (originally on the Circuit's Course) and out of the travel line,
It is designed to prevent rear-end vehicles from becoming entangled.
About the appearance
The parts themselves are surprisingly large, and have a presence that can be clearly recognized when the driver straddles the vehicle.
However, when viewed as a whole, the vehicle as a whole, the Parenthesis is better with Race ish without destroying the Motorcycle's Silhouette.

To insure against standing over.
The installation was easy, but I did one bolt on each side and one bolt pc at a time, but the bolt still did not fit properly, so I had to raise the engine a little by using a spinner handlebar or something like that, using the lever principle.
A bit expensive, but for insurance.

MORIWAKIEngineerRing is the quintessential MORIWAKIEngineerRing.
The quality was satisfactory at a slightly lower price than OEMAccessories.
We have not tried to determine the effectiveness of the system, as we will not know until we fall over.

Installed on Circuit Running
I installed it on a 2011 CBR1000RR.
We wanted to install the minimum amount of sliders necessary for circuit driving, so we installed these. The installation is done by tightening the bolt to the engine hanger bolt on both sides. When installing the slider, it is necessary to drill a hole with a hole saw or similar tool for the OEMSide cowl. The hole position was drilled according to the positioning paper included in the package, and then the hole was drilled by matching it with the actual bolt. Since I have not yet crashed, I do not know how well it will perform, but I think it will be very effective for slip downs and the like. On the other hand, I would not use it on public roads because the Damage may go to the Frame side if the Slider gets caught on a curb or something when it falls over. It takes a bit of time and effort to install, so if you are not confident about it, you should ask a motorcycle shop to do it for you.

I'm glad I put it on.
It's something I'm really glad I kept on.
It is made Firmly and safely.
I recommend keeping it on unless you are confident that you will never fall.

This Motorcycle (CB250R) I bought it as a good luck charm in case of a fall, although I have not had any falls yet in the past.
I was concerned about the strength of the product until I installed it, but it looks solid and Large sturdy.
I can't test the effects, so this is just my opinion...
I referred to the instructions and videos of people who had installed it through Net searches, and it was quite easy to install.

It took 4 months.
I don't want to experience the effect because it is a good luck charm in case of emergency, but I bought it because it worked for me in my previous Motorcycle.
It took over 4 months from the time I ordered this time.
Now I can ride with a little peace of mind.
The tightening Torque is 59.

Less assertive, cooler.
I thought it was too big for OEM.
We are considering Slider, which is both compact and solid.
Also, when I thought of Engine slider, I thought of this shape.
I came to purchase it
I like the Refreshing Design as I aimed for.
I'll have to beat Motorcycle to see how well it works.

MORIWAKI products after all!
I purchased this product as a precautionary measure for my circuit driving. The instruction manual was very clear and easy to understand, and I was able to install it easily. View detail
Engine can be protected.
Fell over.
Engine is intact. It was well protected.
As the name "Slider" implies, it slides quite a bit after a fall. I knew that, but it was scary to think about oncoming cars.
Repair items and other damaged parts to get it running again!
Even if you drive safely, there is no way to avoid sand at the end of Blind corner. Learn what to do when sand takes your Tire.
Please be careful everyone. Have a safe trip.

as a stake in a difficult situation
I'd hate to run into a situation where this is in play.
Installation is easy, as the Instruction Manual includes a description of the torque to be tightened, so as long as you have a torque wrench, you can work without anxiety.
I like the inconspicuous color and design that blends in with the car body.

If you're going to run Circuit, you can have it.
Slider to slide the vehicle body in the event of a rollover.
I think people usually put it on for Cowl protection, etc., but I don't recommend it for this purpose.
This is because the Slider is naturally located at a place that protrudes from the body of the car.
If the slider falls from a low position, such as while cornering, there is no problem. However, if the slider is in a high energy position, such as when it is standing up, and its kinetic energy is zero (i.e., the slider receives all the impact), all the energy will be applied to the slider and its attachment points, and as a result, there is a possibility that the frame or engine mount may crack. As a result, there is a possibility that the frame or engine mount may crack or other troubles may occur.
It may also increase the possibility of running into the roadside or GuardRail on public roads since the purpose is to slide the vehicle body.
If you want Cowl protection, etc., you can put it on, even with that Risk...

Circuit has drastically reduced fall injuries!
The installed Machine is VTR250FIMODEL.
This Skid Pad was extremely effective the other day when I tried too hard on Circuit's HairpinCorner and fell over (of course, it would be better if I didn't fall over ^^;)!
The Skid Pad kept the machine from sliding down to the label and prevented the rear end of the machine from getting caught up, and also kept the machine's damage to a minimum. The damage is shown in the photos and details below.
Bar End Sharpen.
Clutch lever slightly bent and shaved upward (works fine except for a little discomfort)
Change Pedal tip shaved and bent (I bent it back by hooking it with a Glasses Wrench, and it worked fine.)
Footpeg is Foldable, so almost no problem. No need to replace.
The tip of the Swingarm Stand Hook for VTR250 made by Babyface was shaved off. There is no damage that needs to be replaced.
I can say that the Skid Pad is the gold standard for the VTR250's original robustness. Of course, it will definitely perform well on public roads as well (of course, it would be better if it didn't).
*Repair Parts was available at Webig and I only needed to replace the tip. The shipping was faster than I expected. Thank you!

Thank you for your help.
I have had it on since I took delivery of my Motorcycle 6 years ago and it was a great help when I took delivery of my car. Thanks to this SkidPad, my engine was not scratched even though I was often standing on the road when I first got the bike. It is not as strong as the Engine Guard on the learner's car, but I think it helps a little against standing bumps, etc. I am thinking of adding an Engine Guard just in case, so the time may come for me to part with it soon. I have not had any problems with standing up in the sun recently, so I don't have to use it, but I think that's the best thing. Unlike cheap Chinese products, it doesn't look cheap and I like it because it looks OEM. I think it was probably OEMOption at the time. View detail
