Unplanned purchase to match Alpinestars Jacket
I bought the RX-3Jacket, but was reluctant to buy it because the Chest Protector that often comes with Komine Jackets did not fit in it as it was (ugh).
I'm not sure about the protection, as I've never mocked it up, but it feels somewhat unassuring. It is comfortable to wear.
The Large size is too Exactly and I thought I made a mistake in the size at first. I thought I got the size wrong at first.

The defensibility remains a concern.
[How is it used?
It is used in conjunction with the company's TECH-AIR5.
In case the air bag does not work.
Was the one you received as per Image?
The large size was much smaller than the Image, and the texture was soft and squishy like Silicon. (I had imagined it to be much harder).
The image is shown below, but the area around the perimeter of the product that does not have a three-dimensional structure is not within the scope of protection.
Therefore, the actual scope of protection is quite small, as shown in the photo.
How was your experience with it?
I have no complaints about the breathability, but I am still concerned because the protective area is too small and too soft.
(In case you're wondering, it looks like CE:LEVEL2...)
[Points to note]
As mentioned above, the protective area is too small and too soft.
If you are worried that you are not a solid PROTECTOR, don't do it.
Since the ITARDA report states that it is important to minimize chest displacement as much as possible, it would be better to protect the chest with a hard protector for serious chest protection.
If you still want to protect your chest in a casual and comfortable manner, please purchase this product.
It is low in weight, breathable, soft, and comfortable.
How did it compare to other products?
We have not compared them because this was the only one that could be attached to the Alpinestars Jacket without any modification.

If you are thin, you will drop down to your stomach.
I used it on an off-the-shelf Racing suit, but there is a gap in the tummy and it falls down to the bottom of my stomach.
It would be nice if the situation did not allow for a gap in the chest at all times, but this problem would not occur if the Type was shoulder-mounted, so it should have been that way.
