The APE I bought 20 years ago stopped running and I had the compression measured at the shop and it was below the standard value so I bought it to replace the cylinder and piston.

The outer diameter of the air cleaner side of the eternal standard PC20carburetor is 32mm, halfway to Elbowョ. OEMAir cleaners are often 35mm, and if you tighten it with a band, it won't be stuck, but … it's easy to imagine the unwanted load! I can easily imagine the unnecessary load. Use this Adapter to fill the 3mm gap.
What's good about this Adapter is … I'm just hooked. It is. It's just stuck, that's why it turns. The air cleaner supports it, so you don't have to hit it in the wrong place and make the oil level go out of whack. Secondary air? I don't know anything about that.
This is a recommendation for those selfish people who don't care about the details, but are concerned about the settings. It's really nice.

The drawback is that the RubberRing that stops the Net deteriorates quite quickly and Crack cracks appear all around.
If this happens, the Net retention will be wobbly and easy to remove.

Just like the image. At the time, I was aware that if I wore the Funnel, it would probably get a huge power boost. I was satisfied with the Large version because it looked like it would suck in well.
Was the installation difficult?
The mounting diameter of the Φ55 is a bit larger than the OEM carburetor, so I used a Glineda to add a cutout and then tightened the band.
The OEM air cleaner box was not included since it was ska tuned from the time I bought it, so I didn't need to remove it and could install it right away.
How was your experience with it?
Unlike my original intention, it did not lead to much power up.
In terms of quality, the smoothness of the BodyPlating surface was good, and the intake efficiency seemed to be good, but the effect on the FTR223 was not so good.
I returned to Power FilterSpec. without being able to figure out the setting properly.
I kept the record of Main jet#145 as SettingData.

I bought this for my first Bore up work on my SUPER CUB 50FI 3-speed AA01.

The illustrations were so detailed that even a novice like me could understand them. There are no notes for FI Vehicles here either.
I'm assuming that the Reinforced Oil Pump and Reinforced Clutch will be replaced at the same time as the Bore Up. "Above the waist." Recommendation is to purchase at the same time.
I think this amount of information at this price is worth it.
If you want, it would be more helpful to know what kind of effects can be expected by replacing or customizing the parts.

I think it is necessary for beginners.
I bought this for my first Bore up work on my SUPER CUB 50FI 3-speed AA01.
It was explained in a way that even a layman like me could understand it. The instructions are well illustrated, and the handling of peripheral parts, such as removal, is carefully explained, and the cautions are easy to understand.
If you are considering Bore upetc. Engine custom, you may want to buy this before procuring parts.
However, as a matter of course, all recommended parts are KITACO's products. Even so, I think I can reduce the loss because I know what tools I need in advance. In my case, I'm using FI vehicles, so I would have been happy if there were some notes and illustrations for FI vehicles.
However, I feel that the amount of information at this price is unbelievable.
Also, I think Reinforced Oil Pump and Reinforced Clutch will be replaced at the same time when you bore up. "Below the waist." The recommendation is to purchase the product at the same time.

COLLECTORS ITEM
The Kitaco SERVICE MANUAL for CRANKCASE is worth it's weight in Gold. The information in it is transferable to ANY horizontal Honda style engine. Printed in Japanese with more than enough English captions, no information is lost. And the information it contains will turn you into a professional if you peruse it enough. Nothing is lost in translation and as usual a picture says a thousand words. I recon this manual should be brought before you waste money on a non-genuine service manual for you horizontal Honda motor. In fact the price of the Kitaco Crankcase and it's other half the Cylinder Head, Cylinder & Piston manual together along with shipping (from WEBIKE JAPAN, of course) will probably be less than a non-genuine manual for your specific engine. I think these manuals will eventually become collectors items. A must have if you "dig" the horizontal engine and it will save you money in the end. Invest now! View detail
To use for Normal air cleaner on PC18 and PC20.
With PC18, there is quite a bit of space between the OEMAir cleaner and the carburetor.
At that time, this funnel or joint is used to connect the OEMAir cleaner and the carburetor.

Above all, it's a great point to get the right information from a common source.
I'd be happier buying this book than chatting up Engine with dubious sources from who-knows-where.

Continued from the waist down version
I bought a used APE 100Normal engine that I purchased for maintenance.
Initially, I purchased only the lower waist version because I didn't want to open the upper waist, but I wanted to understand the details of adjusting the Camshaft Chain and Tappet clearance, so I bought an additional one.
As for the adjustment of Camshaft Chain, the used Engine that I purchased was in the middle of adjustment, so the information I wanted to know was not enough to find it on the net.
The description of the product in question allowed me to adjust it well and understand the structure of the Camshaft Chain Tensioner.
Although it is only about the Engine, it is easier to understand than the Service Manual, and it is the best for first time disassembly of the Engine.
It covers everything from the Normal engine to the Bore Up Kit, and it is safe and secure to have it with the lower back version.

It's a relief to have it
With HondaEngine, there is a lot of information available on the Net, but you may not be able to find the parts you want to know or the key figures you need to know.
In that regard, although it is divided into two sections, one above the waist and the other below the waist, this product provides sufficient information from Custom to Maintenance, so you can work with confidence.
I bought this one for Overhaul, but after reading through it, it can be used to reconfigure Bore up, Reinforced Clutch, etc., and it is more compatible with Beginner than the Service Manual, and feels easier to understand on Sun MachineLevel!
Most importantly, this product is much easier to read in Illustrator than the low-resolution photo image in the Service Manual.
If you want to lose the Engine, you can have it, it's a large reassuring thing to have.
I will be purchasing the above the waist version when I Bore up.
This may be difficult to do due to part number consolidation, but I felt it would be perfect if the OEM Parts number was included.
If you are a first time tinkerer of Engine, it is more reliable than Net's unconfirmed information, so I felt it would be good to have a copy of this book.
