Reliable Filter
I bought it two years ago and this is the second time. It was not badly stained,
Replaced to prevent carburetor clogging.
It has magnets on it so it will remove rust, etc.

I put it on as a spare.
External Fuel filter attached to ESTRELLA.
It has been immobile for a while, and you can often find a little bit of age-related deterioration in various parts of the car. 。
There does not appear to be any fuel seepage, especially in the Fuel Cock area, but there is no denying that the Fuel Cock has deteriorated over time.
The other day, I was worried about the rust in the fuel tank, and although I have removed rust to prevent impurities from entering Gasoline, I am not sure about it, so I will install an additional external type of fuel filter.
Fuel filter
A filter device used in automobiles to filter fine impurities contained in fuel.
It is used for the purpose of removing water, sand, and dust mixed in during refueling, etc., and maintaining sufficient fuel efficiency.
There seems to be a time for replacement, though not up to the air filter.
■ 50,000 km at Carburetor Vehicles
■Injection car with 100,000 km
■Diesel car with 50,000 km
is the standard.
Continued use of the filter past its replacement time will not only clog the fuel filter element and cause a lack of engine output, but will also cause the filter to lose its original function of capturing foreign matter and separating moisture.
[When the fuel filter clogs.
‥
Idling of ▲Engine is unstable.
Engine seems to stop when driving.
▲ Suddenly, Engine stopped spewing.
Failure to start = Engine will not start.
I haven't experienced the clogging of the Filter yet, but considering the distance and age, it should be replaced. 。
In my 90's ESTRELLA, the fuel filter is integrated with the fuel cock and inserted into the tank. That is not so bad, but I wanted to be sure.
I also added an external Type as a spare.
I chose KIJIMA's because it was inexpensive and I had used it before.
The deciding factor was the transparency, which makes it easy to see dirt.
Replacement procedure.
(1) Fuel Cock is turned off
↓
(2) To be sure, Gasoline in the carburetor should also be removed.
↓
(3) Interrupt the fuel filter between the rubber hose connecting the fuel cock and the carburetor.
It is wise to prepare Oil Resistant Hose separately because OEM Hose is not long enough.
↓
(4) Turn on Cook and apply Engine.
Operation check.
Fuel Cock flows by Engine pressure.
after replacement
No problems
They seem to be getting rid of the impurities for sure.
Durability...? I think Large is durable because it is inexpensive and will be replaced with a con stunt.
It is a good idea to have insurance on older Motorcycles.
Installation is also easy.

It is a must for older Motorcycles.
For older Motorcycles, it is a must.
The easy installation and low price are highly appreciated.

Filter part is pricey
If you want to put a Filter between the Fuel lines, it is difficult to bend the Hose if it is short, but if it is angled like this product, it will be neat. View detail
It is a must for older Motorcycles.
The device was installed on a KDX250SR.
Since it is an old Motorcycle, it is ideal for Tank's Rust defense.

Used to supply Gasoline as a startup check
Installed between the connection from a simple Gasoline container to Carburetor to prevent CarburetorOverflow.
Effective without CarburetorOverflow after adding Filter.

The fuel line is bent 90-degrees and a filter is installed! Large capacity and low resistance!
I bought a battered 900SS (900SL) and am Restore.
DUCATI features a fuel pump and fuel fliter built into the Tank, and there is no pump or filter beyond the Tank's Fuel Cock.
But I don't like this configuration...
The reason I don't like the Fuel fliter built into the Tank is that it looks Refreshing, but I can't see how dirty the Filter is at all.
It is a huge Large Filter and rarely gets stuck, but you can't be in a situation where Garbage is piling up and not know it.
Therefore, I wanted to remove the Filter built into the Tank during Restore and set up a Filter outside the Tank.
I have a front and rear independent carburetor spec. (and both front and rear are down draft, which is a special spec.), which makes it very difficult to handle the fuel lines.
The result was Large success.
We succeeded in bending the Gasoline piping 90° as desired because we installed it independently just before the Carburetor, and the Gasoline piping came together very nicely.
Filter capacity will be less than OEM's Giant LargeFilter, so Quantity to avoid flow resistance.:2pc. Set installation is also in line with the goal.
It also has a built-in Magnet, which OEMFilter does not have, so no complaints.
Transparent Material:Since it is plastic, its durability is a mystery, but it does not feel like it is made of a particularly inferior material, so it probably won't be a problem.
This is a Recommendation!

periodic replacement
I installed it to prevent foreign matter from entering the tank, and it is about time for regular replacement. The price is not that much, I can see how dirty it is, and it is easy to replace, so I think it is easy to use. View detail
Feeling flow instability as per other impressions.
I use it because I often Overflow on my old car.
I'm not particularly particular about the Manufacturer, but DAYTONA seems to be well worth the price. There are no visible defects, such as paper wrinkling.
However, as mentioned in other impressions, the flow rate seems to be lower than other companies' products, and sometimes the Gasoline would run out at full throttle on the freeway scene, etc. (Waiting a bit will fix it.) Also, the Gasoline would suddenly stop running due to air bite, although the cause was unknown (I'm not sure if this was due to the Direct product, but removing the filter would fix it). (I don't know if this was due to the Direct product, but it was fixed by removing the filter.)
Therefore, it is not very useful for 250ccSports type motorbike.
I will look for a product with a higher flow rate.

I would like to make Carburetor a Large thing.
I put it on after purchasing a slightly more expensive Carburetor to prevent Rust and Garbage from getting into the Fuel Tank. The price is reasonable and it is well made and this is the third time I have purchased this product. View detail

You can see the inside of the Filter.
During some carburetor adjustments, I found a piece of a very Smallest Rubber? in the Float room. I did a lot of research and couldn't find the source so I decided to put a Filter on it.
This time, I decided to use a CUB, which has a matching hose bore diameter, small size, and light weight without magnet.
Bracketetetc. is not included, so you have to prepare it by yourself. Installation itself was easy and did not affect the surrounding lines even inside the Leg shield.
If you are attaching a Filter for the first time, you should be careful not to let the protruding part of the Bracket or Tie Wrap that you are attaching hit other Lines.
The product's mechanism is an orthodox mesh system:even when the Axel is opened by the governor, Gasoline passes through normally and the Engine does not cough.
The product appearance is also well finished.
The FilterBody shows the Manufacturer's name and the direction of fuel flow. The display is not sealetc., but a raised workpiece, which is good because seal can peel off or become dirty due to engine heat.
The product was securely packaged and sealed. I think this is necessary for products related to hazardous materials.
As a buyer, this is the kind of thing that makes me happy. In the past, an import from another Manufacturer purchased at another Site was sent to us just in a Vinyl bag.
Although the cause of this installation was not found in the end, it was found that it was not foreign matter from the fuel line by installing this product. I think another merit of this product is that you can see the inside of the transparent filter and mesh type to check for foreign substances.

Good quality item
The fuel filter keeps fuel running smoothly to the engine. Changing the fuel filter keeps the injectors clean longer, which means more power and better gas mileage. L-Type is selected depending on handling conditions
The Straight Type was being used, but the hose was being loaded at the filter mounting point, and vibration caused it to crack, from which the gasoline leaked out.
Depending on the handling situation of the hose, we have to select the right shape to avoid loading.
It could cause a fire.
For my Motorcycle, this L-Type was the right choice.
The filter is fine and good.
