Fits: HONDA XR250R
It could be used on a 92 MODEL XR250R.
This is a review of a previously purchased product, it worked on my 92 MODEL XR250R. There were no problems with either installation or actual driving. The durability is unknown because of infrequent use. In my case, it worked fine, but it is only an AfterMarket product, so I guess you have to discount it in case it doesn't work. View detail
Fits: YAMAHA YZF-R1
It was fixed with no problems.
Due to a pre-existing condition of YZF-R1, the carbon brush became unevenly worn due to oil intrusion into the inside of the cell motor, and part of the unevenly worn brush came in contact with the shaft, damaging the coil. However, the mounting holes were drilled at an angle, and when I checked the inside, I found that the brush had two points of contact and the performance was down, so I returned it and re-built it with this product.
The replacement itself requires the use of a solder iron, or be careful because the internal wiring can be attached in either the forward or reverse direction, and the tightening torque is 5N, which is quite delicate and can cause further damage if done improperly.

Replace deteriorated charge coil of DT50 with external one
I drive a 1991 DT50.
Recently, the engine has been slowing down, and the engine stalls while idling. The engine did not stall while driving. Once the engine stalled, it could not be started immediately with KICK and had to be pushed.
The stall during Idling had stopped without warning, even though it had been turning at 2000 rpm normally until then.
Also, during Idling, the Blinker did not blink when attached, and the Indicator did not blink.
I removed the Flywheel and measured the resistance value and found that it was only 130Ω while it should be 295Ω±10%.
So I tried to buy OEM Product but it was discontinued and not available.
I looked for it on the Net and RICK’S MOTORSPORT ELECTRIC RICKWasteMotor sportsElectric Charge coil YAM [2102-0280] was available. However, when I looked at the compatible model, it was DT50 L|C year:88-90.
I bought it anyway and compared the actual product and the shape is the same.
I installed the flywheel puller immediately and found no problem. For installation, you will need Special Tool's Flywheel Puller, a soldering iron, and solder.
The engine starts with one or two kicks, and the engine no longer stalls when idling. Also, the blinker during idling is now blinking.
I have driven more than 300 km since installation and there are no problems.
If you are experiencing any of the above symptoms, we recommend this Parts.

BrushSingle Body by Starter
This is an OEM form of Carbon brush. You need to replace it periodically because it wears out. It is not easy to get the brushSingle Body. Soldering is necessary, but I think this product is very helpful for maintaining old cars. View detail

It can be used as a substitute for OEM
OEM Parts are expensive so I was looking for alternatives. Of course you can also do installation without problem, it is a passing Level. Although I do not know about durability yet, OEM has 20,000 kilos, but it may be better to replace it with expendable items at around 10,000 kilometers. In that case I would like to Repeat. Other Manufacturer also out of other Brand Product, but it is better that this one is Coating resin. View detail

Processing required
CB750F (RC04) Used for.
RotorCoil and StatorCoil interfere with each other and thought about Overhaul but abandoned because both scars were deep. Manufacturer is already abandoned, so dare to make it the Manufacturer item Quantity : Set purchased.
Processing is not StatorCoil itself, but the outside diameter on the StatorCoil side is large, so it is not possible to enter inside unless you cut off the inside of OEMCover a little. While watching Clearance with Rotor, etc.. It was a little troublesome to repeat the work by scraping and cutting little by little.
After installation, we ran about 350 kilometers with the general road, expressway, but for now, the voltage etc.. There is no problem with. According to Manufacturer it is Reinforcement Type and Idling even when Light is lit 14. It does not descend around 5 V and is stable.
Processing was a little troublesome, but I am satisfied with the result. I also expect durability.

CB750F (RC04) Used for.
RotorCoil and StatorCoil interfere with each other and thought about Overhaul but abandoned because both scars were deep. Manufacturer is already abandoned, so dare to make it the Manufacturer item Quantity : Set purchased.
Because the outer diameter of the StatorCoil side is a little Large, it was a little troublesome to cut the inside of the OEMCover, but as for the Rotor side it was possible to attach it without machining (Special tool to remove OEM Product (like Screw) Is necessary separately)
After installation, we ran about 350 kilometers with the general road, expressway, but for now, the voltage etc.. There is no problem with. According to Manufacturer StatorCoil is a thing with Reinforcement Type and Idling at lighting lit 14. It does not descend around 5 V and is stable. I also expect durability.
