That was a good purchase
I replaced it with Big tank because it was hard to Ladder on the forest road.
The price is quite expensive, but I don't have to use Gasoline many times a day anymore.
I wanted a Skeleton, so I went with Natural without hesitation.
The lower front side of the Tank is directly above the Engine, so I put an insulated Seat on it for heat protection. I used Seat from Daytona and Tape from Posh.
Because of the complicated shape of the lower part of the Tank, the Posh one was easier to apply, and I should have just used this one.
After putting on the front and Right Side of the Pump under the Tank, it became too much of a hassle and I had to stop in the middle of the process. I'm going to try it in the summer and see how much heat will be generated in the lower part of the tank, and if necessary, I'm going to add more.
Since the tank is blocked up to the heat venting hole of the Radiator on the RightSide cowl, I carefully applied insulation tape to this area.
I think it's a bit much to go this far.:Pair (for Left and Right) It would be nice if only the Right Side could be asymmetrical so that heat can escape.
The width of the front side of the tank did not match with the body of the vehicle, so we inserted two washers on each side for a total of four washers, and the width was just right.
For the back side Screw, it was written to use the OEM Washer, but since the Washer could not be removed from the OEM Screw, it seemed that a Washer would be required here as well.
The side cowl was installed with the screw holes slightly out of alignment, but the left side went on without difficulty.
The Right Side is slightly obstructed by the Radiator guard, so I cut a screw hole in the Cowl to make it fit.
The hose connecting the Tank to the Canister is specified to be connected to the Cap with a One-Way Valve in between.
However, the One-Way Valve is oriented from the canister to the tank, so the gasoline in the tank vaporizes and does not enter the canister even if the pressure is increased.
This is not good for the Tank, and it is a hassle to remove the hose from the cap every time I fill up the Gasoline, so I added a Zita Uni-flow cap. This will make the air pressure inside the Tank Large and looks good for the Tank.
The Hose going to the Canister was put in a Screw coated with Liquid Gasket and clamped with a Hose clamp.
The Nempon Gasket and Dust Seal were replaced with new ones, and the gold surface of the tank where the seals meet was coated with engine oil, as Honda's service manual specifies that oil should be coated on this part of the OEM tank. There were traces of oil on this part of the OEM tank.
I think this is so that when the gasket is compressed and stretched thin, it does not stick and distort strangely.
No one seems to be applying Oil here, even on the Net, but since the Manufacturer specifies it, I think it is better to apply it.
The torque of the Nenpon mounting screw is 12Nm, and it was properly tightened with a torque wrench.
It seems a lot lighter with almost no Gasoline in it, which is understandable since it is the upper part of Motorcycle.
On the other hand, it feels much heavier when set to full tan, and you may need to adjust Spring and Shock.
I plan to apply Porlmate frequently to prevent the outside of the tank from getting crusty.
Now I only need to refuel once a day, so I'm glad I made the change, even though it was expensive.

Big tank is good - CRF250Ls MD47
I bought it because it has become difficult to secure fuel in the countryside when touring and driving on forest roads.
The capacity has doubled from 7L to 14L of OEM, and can run more than 400km with a full Tan.
It seems a little heavier when fully tan, but I don't mind so much (dull spec.).
Fuel Tank and Blinker interfere with each other, so replaced with CHAFT LED Blinker via Bracket
(It will be a high flasher, so a resistor is needed in the middle.)
Below are the key points for installation
The fuel pump mounting was two Seals, MD47Initial Model, but it seemed to be reusable without any problem.
(I replaced it, just in case.)
Bolt with screw clamps (not mentioned in the instruction manual).
There is no place to connect Pipe from Canister to Big tank, so Pipe was removed and Cap was done.
(Originally, it would connect to Cap, but since it was set to with KeyCap, there is no place to connect)
The drawback is that the cap and tank do not fit well (sometimes the tightening is light and sometimes it is hard).
There are times when there is a slight Gasoline smell associated with it.
The surface is pear-shaped, so the Suction Cup is also not usable.
Could have been a little lower capacity, (about 12L).
Lots of things to do, but Total satisfied with Large. (^^) /
For reference, the fuel gauge reads
3.1 scale with EMPTY release at 6L
4.2 scales at 7L
5.3 scales at 8L
6.3 scales at 9L
4 scales in 8L
5 scales in 9L
FULL at 10L (6 scale)

Tank replacement
I took the plunge and bought the New Model Big tank before it was discontinued!
It was easier than I had expected, although some modification was required, such as shroud.
I am satisfied with Large because it has increased my fuel consumption by about 5 liters and increased my cruising distance by about 150 km.
Also, since it is sketchy, you can clearly see the remaining amount of fuel without looking at the fueling indicator.
To be sure, change the two types of packing together when you exchange them.
The hose on the tank cap seems to have come off and flown away while running, which is unfortunate.

I would love to see LongTwo
It took about 3 hours to install the Cowl, and although it was difficult to align the Bolt, it can be done if you take your time.
It is a good product that can expect more cruising range than RALLY50.

Mounted on IMSTank
CRF300L'21-23 IMS Fuel Tank 2.5 Gal (9.5L) on CRF250L (MD47)
(Big tank in ACERBIS can't do Handlebar Lock, so I went with IMS)
I ordered the IMSTank knowing that it was not applicable, but it was a no-machining pontoon.
GasolineTurned on its side after full tan, no leaks.
Note that the combination of IMSTank + Locking gas cap will eliminate the escape of evaporated Gasoline
A little more work is required, such as opening the cap a little to lower the pressure before removing the cap in the summer.
The only thing I'm a little disappointed in is that the locks are cheap.

Perfect fit & looks amazing
First time ever buying an acerbis tank.Looks sick, shipper packaging was great with tons of paper for padding, and product retail packaging was top notch.Shipping was very fast, The tank came with all of the required hardware, instructions were easy and the fit was perfect. Looks factory with no gaps or figment issues. Access to the spark plug is not an issue with normal sized plug wrench. my yz250 compatible tank came with new hoses with plenty of length to size & cut, gas line clamps, a solid splitter/adapter to join the reserve and on gas lines, tank lid and new with the tank petcocks. i didn't need to reuse my oem petcocks i guess this is model specific. only thing you transfer is the seat bolt which is expected. new plastics bolted up no problem. This tank is legit! I am super happy with it. Honestly, I was skeptical of the dual petcock but turns out I really like it. Shoutout to acerbis for making a great tank. View detail
Love the look, durability and over all use of this tank
Not sure what all the fuss was about as far as install. Stock bolts screwed Shrouds easily back in. Most difficult part was disconnecting the hose but thats because my hands are fat. No manipulation or longer screws needed. Easy installation even removing and installing the fuel pump went smooth. Love that I have almost an extra gallon of fuel now.I installed this on my CRF and love it. The fitment was great and the extended fuel range is fantastic. On my particular bike the tank replaces the original tank panels. My only tiny complaint was one of the four screws that holds in the fuel pump stripped with minimal force. Luckily there's not leaks after miles and miles of hard riding. I'll still take an Acerbis tank over any other aftermarket tank any way.Highly recommend if you're thinking about getting it.best price, fast and careful packaging.I'm glad to doing shopping from you,Thanks Webike View detail
If you're worried about mischief, you should put it on
KTM POWER PARTS KTMPowerParts:I used it on my 11-liter tank I bought it to prevent tampering, but every time I stopped at the service station, I had to use the key to open it It was a hassle to change back to the original Tank Capture immediately Accuracy is not so good either View detail
I got it installed in the IMSBig tank!
It was mentioned that it was not possible to install it in the IMSBig tank, but some people were able to do so So I took the plunge and bought it
The result is perfect, it feels like IMS Standard Equipment Fit It was the right decision to buy it

It covers all the functions I want
I found it by seeking Locking Type lubricant Cap of IMS for Big Tank attached to CRF 250 L by way of example.
We do not have the opportunity to beat Motorcycle at once, so we do not know the leakage when we kill, but we are satisfied with the locking function.
Also in other reviews "Gasoline will spill over even if Cap is closed" Although I encountered only once, it seems that this was caused by refueling with the waves as much as the oil surface touched the valve at the bottom of Cap.
I have not relapsed since consciously to refuel at the Level which does not touch the valve.
I think that it is essential item for IMSBig tankUser.

Process to IMS for Big Tank
When going to forest road touring,
In some areas GS is closed on Sunday ...
Move to the site from 40 km
About 160 km playing all day ... my own KLX 250 (-10) It is 150 pikopiko ...
I bought IMS's Big tank
When I am a forest road I use the attached Cap,
Since it is uneasy when there is a key attachment at the time of town ride,
I bought this product.
"Useable or unusable" Although there is an impression,
I can not use it ...
It is barely caught,
You can come off if you put your strength (The diameter is close but the depth of the mountain is different)
originally "key" I wanted a part of it, so it does not matter..
Because I can produce work
Understanding the structure and cutting the inner lid part

There may be individual differences
IMSTank was not compliant but purchased with no good.
I gave it to my own good luck.
I am satisfied that it closes tightly and it also measures mischief.

Although there is no problem in function ...
【What made you decide the purchase?】
I was able to lock the tank cap and purchased it because I could use it for IMS's Big tank.
【How was it actually used?】
CapLarge, the impression of the car changed by the Large rinse. Although it can be used functionally without problems, there are not many opportunities to use.
I think that it is a good part to prevent Prank.
[Is there anything I was disappointed about?]
It's too big
【Hope for Manufacturer - Please let me know if you have any improvement points]
There is none
【Have you compared items?】
There is none

I do not use it almost.
【What made you decide the purchase?】
Because I made Fuel Tank resin, I purchased it because I was uneasy because there was no Lock Function on the lid.
With key attached, I was able to fit IMS resin Tank was the deciding factor of the best purchase.
【How was it actually used?】
I could lock it tightly.
However, the cover is too large and the image of the vehicle changes.
[Is there anything I was disappointed about?]
It was a deca lid except for.
【Hope for Manufacturer - Please let me know if you have any improvement points]
For those who wish to have the function of locking, I think that Large is a funny good product.
【Have you compared items?】
There is none.

ACERBIS for Big Tank
Cap of Big tank for klx 250 buys this key with key because there is no key.
I am firm and I think that it is suitable for price.
Of course ACERBIS's Big tank has Tank cap of ACERBIS, so we have a Just fit! Gas removal mechanism and it's genuine for Big Tank.
There is not much demand, but I want you to keep making it.

ACERBISLockable Gas Tank Cap
When exchanging the Fuel Tank of HONDA's CRF 250 L for Big tank of IMS, since the attached non-lock cap is unreliable, I purchase this ACERBIS Lockable Gas Tank Cap and use it.
If you lock the key lock with Shutter with the key, the upper part of Cap will idle with Round and round and it will be impossible to turn Cap Body and you will not be able to open Cap itself.
Compared to Cap which was attached to Tank, there is a thick feeling which is somewhat large and thick, but I like the unevenness very much.
This ACERBISLockable Gas Tank Cap can also be fitted to the Big tank of ACERBIS for CRF 250 L which was finally sold after the IMS Big tank.
So, even if you exchange from Big tank of IMS to Big tank of ACERBIS, you can continue using this ACERBISLockable Gas Tank Cap, so let's cut it out Large.
I only know this ACERBISLockable Gas Tank Cap for LockingCap that can be installed in IMS and ACERBIS's Big tank.
There is only this ACERBISLockable Gas Tank Cap to Key to Big tank, so please buy this ACERBISLockable Gas Tank Cap.
I have Tank Bag on top of this ACERBISLockable Gas Tank Cap, so it's more convenient for me as you can install the Tank Bag as high as 20 mm than when using the included Cap.
(Because Side Back is applied to Tank Bag, Side Back does not hit the knees if it gets up even a little. )
In this ACERBISLockable Gas Tank Cap, since internal pressure release is made from the Keyhole part with Shutter, it can be used safely without worrying about the pressure expansion inside the Big tank.
Those who changed from OEMTank to Big tank, why not try using this safe ACERBISLockable Gas Tank Cap by all means?

Since it is a cap, it is touch whether it becomes an object to evaluate, but a direction with a key is as safe as something too.
