Reads backwards for USA JA65 bikes
This product is fairly easy to install by following the online instructions. Period.BUUUT for the USA JA 65 trails, it will read backwards because our bikes are geared opposite from the rest of the world. It will read neutral 4321 instead of neutral, 1234. In the end after some head scratching, I figured out that I needed to cut the wires going to the magnetic sensor harness That's already installed on the bike and splice the wires by doing trial and error until it read correctly. After that it works perfectly. It will not have an indicator to shift up and they do mention that in the instructions. The harness to the magnet on the trail is very short, so if you're going to cut and splice, I would recommend you get some heat, shrink, connectors, or consider getting an aftermarket sensor that has longer wire. Luckily, I had one of these lying around. View detail

Useful to have for CUB beginners!
I have a lot of experience with motorcycles, but this is my first time as a CUB owner and, of course, my first time riding a Rotary Mission.
If you're not constantly aware of what speed you're in, you'll never know.
It's okay to stop and look for Neutral or 1st gear after you've stopped.
When you stop and immediately start moving, you don't have that kind of time to spare... you're in a hurry...
Since I have been wearing it, I am no longer in such a hurry, and I can drive more comfortably because of it!
The installation is not too difficult as long as you follow the instructions in the instruction manual.
If the cowl can be removed, it would be Large sturdy.

Excellent for OEMHeadlight measures that are too dark.
I purchased this product to address a complaint about the CT125, the OEMLED Headlight.
It would not be bad to install a Fog Lamp instead of a Driving Lamp, but the generator output is also equivalent to the Engine Displacement Volume, so it is not possible to install an oversized electrical component. I have just added an Asahi Leg shield, so it's even more difficult to install it in the right position.
And as a compensatory act for not having the usual time to rideω.
Order this kit to convert OEM LED Headlight to H4, which is critical for nighttime rain on country roads, as the visibility is almost ineffective.
Kelvin is color temperature, not brightness.
I think the work itself is reasonably difficult, but there are too many accessories in my house, so it is somewhat more difficult to access and remove them….
Also, I'm so paranoid that I ignore the work as per Manual and processω.
First, we temporarily assembled the tap to check that it works, and then discarded the Electro Tap without regard to the manual.
Good thing good kids never use Electro Tap.
Because Trouble Frequent Cancer
The core wire is exposed by stripping the intermediate sheath, the plug receptacle is cut open with an electric tool to make an improvised splice, crimped with a branch line, and wrapped with harness tape.
With this, the contact failure rate is as close to 0% as possible!
And the rest is usually as per Manualω.
Left Handlebar Switch cut to HandlebarRight from Triple treeReverse side
Body ground is from the base of the Triple treeLeft reflector.
It was recommended to drill holes on the reverse side of the resin case….
I had a woodworking holesaw, so I managed with that.
If you don't have one, I'd use a soldering iron to melt it down.
One last move!
The H4 is a very good solution, but it has a LED headlight that lacks the universal nature of the fine connector with a dedicated cooling fan, so it is not a good solution.
When it becomes impossible to light up in the future….
Branch Wiring to UniversalH4-305Connector for immediate replacement
Bullet Terminal connection in the middle and keep the Connector inside the very narrow Headlight case.
Of course, the Bullet Terminal should be on the Female side and insulated with harness tape just in case.
Incidentally
Kit side Harness
White GND(Earth) − CouplerReverse side Left
Yellow−Lo − same Up
Blue−Hi − the same Right
This way, whether Halogen or LED, Universal Product can be used.
However, the use of High Wattage products such as Halogen etc. should be avoided as much as possible.
I think LED is better for Halogen 35w or so.
Carry H4-305Coupler and spare H4LED
There is also a position lamp in the headlight, but ….
No Wiring because even 5w is too close.
Also, if the Wiring fixed Band in the Case was still used, it was not closed and was not established, so it was disconnected and the internal Wiring was set to "Quantity".:Pair (for Left and Right) allocated to
GreenWiring to the Controller is also a + line, so I ran it through the MeshWiringProtective Tube.
By the way, processing will likely make the warranty ineffective, but ….
For me personally, as long as I make sure that there are no problems with the initial operation, I'll be fine.
I honestly don't care.
I'd rather have my hands tied
I think it would be much better to customize it in a way that makes sense in front of you.
I've only assembled and lighted test.
It is a world of difference from OEM daylight lamps!
It's triple the number of Watt ….
I'm told the Tester figure is 29,800 candela.
It doesn't look so bad either….
It's an internal Wiring or Headlight, but it's an Aluminum ultra-thin wire.
I have some concerns about the quality of the product.
I'm an old person ω.

We need to devise something outside of the Instruction Manual.
The disadvantage of the CT125's most Large is that the Headlight is very dark.
It is an unbelievable Level to sell a moped motorcycle with such a dark headlight at a legal speed of 60 km/h. How can you sell a moped motorcycle with such a dark headlight?
Various people were getting by with Fog Lamps and Auxiliary Lamps, and I had an Auxiliary Lamp with Cutline. It was bright, but I could not switch between high and low, so I had to endure either Situation.
I found Headlight by chance, and although I was worried about replacing the whole unit, the work manual with pictures made it possible for me to replace the unit successfully, although I misunderstood some parts. I think it would have been less hurdle if there was a more detailed explanation of which connection means what.
I would have liked some tips on how to make the holes in the HVAC Larger. I worked by trial and error, so the finished product was quite dirty. I think it would have been cleaner if I had used a holed saw from the beginning. Well, it doesn't matter because it is invisible.
By the way, I chose 3000K (Halogen color). I am satisfied with the good visibility and the classical image because there is a lot of fog in this area.

Effectiveness realized!
I asked the shop to install it at the same time I bought my CT110 HUNTER CUB, and although there is a gap between the actual shift position and the shift position when the shift change is not made properly, there is no particular problem. I am more than satisfied with it because it is easy to see Light, visibility is good, and I can Riding comfortably! The price is a little bit high, but I think it is a good product that you can feel the effect more than that. View detail

Shift positionIndicator installation
I installed it immediately after purchasing a new car and I am glad I did because the visibility is excellent.
It may not be of particular concern to those accustomed to this Mission, but it is useful to be able to visually see the shift position.
However, the numbers may not be completely reliable because they may not switch while driving.
The Cowl needs to be removed for installation, but I was able to install it while checking how to remove the Cowl on the YouTubeetc. that was posted.

Mounted on the Hunter Cub.
When the learning module that indirectly expresses the gear stage by measuring the existing rpm and speed is installed on a curve, it directly detects the part where an error occurs (or does not display) in the gear display when the clutch drops or stops during gear shifting. It was very convenient because it was bitten by the beater switch sensor and showed the gear immediately and quickly. There is no detailed harness wiring guide, so it's a bit unfriendly, but I installed it myself. -------------------------------------------------- -------- When the clutch drops or when the gear shifting is mounted on the curve indirectly exhibited by measuring the existing RPM and the speed, the clutch drops or when the gear marks when the gear marks is stated. It was very comfortable to show the gear immediately by being bitten by the bitter switch sensor. There is no detailed harness wiring guide, so it is a bit unkind but well installed. If I blip ping and downshift over 4000 rpm, does the display change?
All-in-one, nothing else was needed, and it was selected because it was a sensitive type.
While we are generally satisfied, we are a little disappointed in the following two points. (especially the second point, which I have not seen anywhere else)
The letters are barely visible in the sunlight during the day.
When I blip ping and downshift at around 4000 rpm with the engine running at that rpm, I get the following results.
Every so often, the Shift display remains the same as the original.
If I accelerate or decelerate a little from that state, the correct Shift is displayed, but I wonder why this is the case even though it is a sensor type.
If I drop to 3→2→1 at about 50km/h toward the Red signal, the display will remain at 3 or 2 even though I am in first gear.
I don't think it will bother you if you return to first gear after a stop, or if you Downshift at a slightly lower rpm.
Regarding the second point, I will take a video and contact the Manufacturer.

RotaryMission, a remedy for those who get lost in the GEAR!
Protec About Shift positionIndicator.
[Work difficulty]
If you don't have trouble removing Cowl, which is a drawback of CT125, it's not difficult.
It is a little more difficult than SP Mukawa or OMPID because of the time and effort required to change the sensor.
It is described very carefully on the manufacturer's website, so if you follow the instructions, the work should be finished without any problems.
[Notes]
The installation method on the website is explained with minimum parts removal, which makes the work more difficult.
If you take the time and effort to get rid of as much Cowl as possible, there is very little difficult work involved.
Personally, OEMSensor Wiring is the most difficult, because it is manual work that cannot be seen on the CowlReverse side.
In some cases, it is necessary to remove the Change Pedal in order to remove the Sprocket cover.
To be precise, you can loosen the fixed bolt of Pedal and pull it out to the full footpeg.
[Performance Evaluation
There is no Large-like Time lag after Gear changing, and the display of GEAR changes, so it is almost a perfect score as performance.
However, there is a scene where it is difficult to see the Red of the liquid crystal display part and the Red of the issuing part (especially when carrying the sun).
In addition to the fact that the time lag after the gear change is very large because of the backward calculation, the meter of Takekawa and OPMID
The disadvantage is that GEAR cannot be displayed at a stop without a signal.
As you can see in the image, the Indicator [1] in the MukawaMeter, even though it displays the GEAR. The part of the
[---] The only thing that is shown on the screen. Recommended for those who feel the need to check when stopping.
Please note that the Bracket that the Indicator is attached to is not included in the kit, but is a self-made part.

It is brighter and looks good. However, Trouble is also …
I felt the OEMHeadlight was unreliable in its brightness, and I bought it because I liked both its looks and its practicality.
After the installation, the night road is illuminated firmly, and it came to be able to run at night without anxiety even without Assis Trump etc.
I think it is a very functional product.
However, there was also Trouble in installation.
The interrupt coupler to the Harness on the body side was not waterproofed at all.
The Coupler was waterproofed with a hot bond because I thought it would be too short in the rain or when washing the car. 。
After that, when I installed the headlight unit set and did the test, I had trouble with Horn not sounding.
When the cause was investigated, Horn operates normally when the interrupt coupler of the concerned Headlight unitkit is removed and it returns to the OEM state. When the interrupt coupler of the headlight unitkit was removed, Horn operated normally.
I suspected that the interrupt harness was defective, and I tried to check it, but it was firmed up with a hot bond for waterproof processing.
The Harness in question had a model number, so I thought there would be parts for sale, and half-heartedly peeled off the hot bond and tried to find the cause.
The result was failure; it only hurt Harness badly, and the detailed cause was not known.
I contacted the Manufacturer after the New Year's holiday and reported the symptoms and the current situation. the Manufacturer told me to send the Harness once because they will deal with it after confirming the condition of the Harness, but since the Harness has some cause but I damaged it by my confirmation work, I asked them to sell the parts. I asked them to sell the parts because I can buy it.
Manufacturer replied that they would send me a replacement first and that I should send back the Harness with the Trouble on it.
At this time, the Coupler has not been waterproofed, and when I checked if it was OK as a product, it should have been basically waterproofed. I was told that it should be.
The replacement that arrived later was waterproofed from the beginning, and both Headlight and Horn could be used without a problem.
After that, the manufacturer contacted us and admitted the fault of untreated waterproofing, but the condition of the harness was so bad that it was excluded from the warranty. "Disassembly and modification. This was a claim for the Harness portion of Gold because it constituted
At that time, I had a roundabout exchange with the person in charge on the phone, but in the end, I don't need the Harness fee Gold, so you can use it as it is. But in the end, I don't need the Gold Harness fee.
It's my personal opinion that Horn's Trouble has a lot to do with Harness. "Disassembly and modification. It is not possible to judge whether it is an initial defect or whether I have damaged it at the time of installation because I have damaged it. Therefore, it is not covered by the warranty. This is satisfactory.
However, at the time when the product that should have been waterproofed before that was sold untreated, it was a defective product, and I thought that it was appropriate to respond to the exchange due to the initial defect at the stage when it was confirmed that the product was untreated.
The product itself is a good product that I am very satisfied with.
However, I have to admit that I was disappointed by this Trouble, even if I deducted the goodness of the product.

You have provided what it should be. Thanks.
There is no need to order OEM parts for the CUB.
To say the installation of the Kit is a bit odd, but the installation itself is easy because most of it comes from the removal and installation of OEM parts.
The instruction manual is simple, but the manufacturer's blog shows detailed installation instructions, so I had to follow the instructions as I went along.
Because protective film was not pasted on the Monitor part, it was damaged when selecting the installation place at the time of installation. However, in practical use there is no problem.
Visibility of the Monitor part is generally good, but it is difficult to see at the time of direct sunlight because LED is Red indication of RedBack.
I don't understand Honda's intention to omit this function, but I thank Protec for reviving it.

More reliable than OEM products
When I talked to him about getting the OEM Alarm Alarm when I purchased Motorcycle, he recommended the theft insurance because there have been cases of other Honda Small Type motorcycles that have been deactivated as PRO thieves because the information is on the Net and the OEM Alarm has been deactivated.
So I purchased this device and it is not bad and safe to use.
I can recommend it
