Oil Temperature Meter for CROSS CUB
Simply remove the oil plug cum Level gauge and replace it with this product.
The temperature-sensing part does not directly enter the oil, but measures the temperature of the scattered oil that adheres to it.
It is not known if the temperature is reliably measured.

Oil temp.
I decided to order this oil temperature gauge as it looked neet and tidy and was a direct replacement for the oil plug. My w650 dose not have an oil temperature gauge hence buying this one. It was an easy swap out with the oil plug and it works a treat. View detail
A little place, but very satisfying.
When I first installed it, the direction was 180 degrees in the opposite direction, but after the oil warmed up, I turned it and was able to easily change the direction.
I don't know if the temperature is accurate because I'm an amateur, but the grade-up look is great☆.

Thanks for 10 years and best wishes again.
I replaced the needles on a product I purchased about 10 years ago because they had completely faded in the sunlight and were hard to see.
The price had gone up a bit due to the recent price hike, but the Knurl engraving was deeper and more beautiful, and the price was acceptable.
The evaluation is based on 10 years of use of the previous product.
The temperature displayed was not particularly inconsistent based on the temperature and the feeling of touching the Clutch cover.
Although some force is required, it is possible to rotate only the board to an angle that makes it easier to see.
However, due to the structure of the 12R, the cap area is the last place where oil is spilt from the clutch, so an accurate oil temperature could not be expected and the temperature barely exceeded 80°C in the height of summer.
The needle movement was a good indicator to confirm that the entire Engine had finished warming up, especially in the winter when the moisture inside the Engine becomes a cloudy emulsion that clings to the end of the Engine.
The only complaint I have is that the O-ring has deteriorated noticeably after about a year, and since there are no replacement parts, I had to substitute an ORing with a similar diameter with what I had on hand. I hope the new one is improved.
Well, it was not exposed to rain for the past several years, but it was at the edge of the sea, so even the clutch cover, not to mention the exterior, has faded.

Satisfied as an Oil Temperature Meter!
I don't know how accurate it is as an Oil Temperature Meter, but if you consider it as an additional Oil Temperature Meter, it is simple and cost-effective.
I have heard that DAYTONA is subject to condensation, but this one is not, probably because it contains a liquid. The display turns, so I adjusted it so that the 12 o'clock position in the direction of travel is 100℃. It is hard to see while driving, but it is not impossible because this is DAX. 12 o'clock:100℃ RedLine:120℃ 110℃ in the middle, so you can get a rucksack-like temperature with Analog (Oil pan temperature is rucksack-like to begin with, right? (The temperature of the oil pan is rucksack, isn't it?)
As an Oil Temperature Meter, it is a good point, but as a dip stick, it is not so good. First of all, there is no Level gauge. I scratched it with Nipperetc. referring to the NORMAL stick. However, the surface of the stick is smooth and clean plating. (I managed to rub it on a piece of paper and it was almost impossible to see. (I managed to rub it on a piece of paper …)
I wonder if other companies have Level gauge.
If it helps....

It is good
I was concerned about oil temperature since I bore up to KITACO 75?
I thought about Digital, but I was in a hurry to buy it.
I am satisfied with both the system and the design.
