Genuine Yamaha Fuel Tank Pad for MT09
This was something I had been meaning to buy but never got around to it. The correct tank pad was not hard to find, I just filtered the manufacturer and then model of bike and there were a couple to choose from. I deceided on the genuine Yamaha one as it will fit as it should do with it being made for this bike. The cost was not too bad actually and better than I had seen for sale locally. With a couple of other tank pads for other bikes, I had them all shipped together via EMS. EMS just do what they say and get your order to you quickly. Mine arrived 5 days after the shipping date which is perfect. The entire order was neatly packed in the box, the tank pads were all kept nice and flat so there was no distortion which could have been a problem when fitting. The tank pad came in a Yamaha packet and was neatly presented. The pad itself feels very nice and smooth but does have a bit of friction due to the materials used. I was expecting a slightly more domed gel pad but for what it is, it's fine for my needs. Fitting was straight forward and when on without issue although I pre fit with low tach tape to get the placement visually before starting. Pleased with the purchase and hopefully, this stops any future scuffs from happening with my jacket zip. Thanks Webike

Genuine Yamaha Tank Pads for MT07
These were purchased to help protect the side of the fuel tank from scuffs. There was already a centre tank pad fitted but the side was open to accidents. The correct part was not hard to find. I just used the search facility on Webike and narrowed down the search to OEM Yamaha and fuel tank protection. There was a few to choose from but only this one was specifically Yamaha branded. The cost was pretty good for such a good tank protector and along with a few other items in my basket, I got them all shipped together to save on a bit of shipping cost. I generally use EMS these days as they just get the job done. I almost always get my order delivered within a week and more so in 5 days from shipping Webike warehouse. This was no exception, the order arrived in 5 days as expected. The outer box was sealed along each side and the inner was well padded out. Witth these tank pads being flat and needing to stay that way during transit, Webike ahd the taped to a large piece of cardboard to keep them safe. This worked a treat. The tank pads themselves were packaged in a nice Yamaha standard packet. They are flexible but do have some structure to them. They were slightly on the thin side but when you think about it, if they were much thicker, you would struggle to gethem placed where you need them anyway. I am very pleased with the purchase and look forward to trying them out on the road as they also supoosed to give a little grip to the tank too. Added bonus. Thanks Webike View detail

I bought it because I like the design. I expect it to be durable.
The curved tank at the bottom was attached by pushing it down. I think it is better to stick it carefully here.
I'm a tedious person, so I do it in one shot, but the original procedure is (1) Centers. (2) Spray an appropriate amount of diluted neutral detergent (3) The order is to paste and adjust the position.

Since I bought my MT-09 used, it came with this.
I replaced the Tank, so now I bought a new one and stuck it on.
I think Parenthesis is good because it matches the design of MT-09.
It seems to be durable, but the surface of the first one that was attached to it had a WHITE look to it. Is that due to the material? I guess it can't be helped.
Since the base paper also serves as a pattern for pasting, I think it can be pasted on Beauty.
