【MDF】Rim Stripe 6M Review
Rim stripe looks surprisingly different
I bought it to dress-up the wheel area. I think it also has a slight function of guarding the area around the rim, which is prone to scratches.
When pasting, apply with water. I used Guide, but the rim stripe may be slightly shifted where it overlaps. However, it is not noticeable unless you look at it with a gun.
Since it will feel like air bubbles are rolled in, Image is a Large cut that pushes out air bubbles when applying.
Although it is a non-reflective type, the change in appearance is large, and I thought it was a part that makes it easy to feel the changes in my car.

For those who want one point for the suspension...
I am a Rim Sticker Large lover, so I have applied Large stickers on my motorcycle for many years, but I always buy MDF's split type stickers because I think they are very good and easy even for an amateur like me.
When you look at it up close, it may not look like a nice circle, but when you look at it from a distance and while the tire is rotating, it already looks like a large body circle, so it's OK! I put it up with a forgiving attitude.

I tried to match the color of the car body.
I switched to Triumph Tigers Ports 660, so I put the same MDF rim stripe as before.
The color is Blue to match the color of the car body.
I ordered and received it in about 3 days.
As shown in the instructional video, degrease the wheel attachment area and mist the wheel and tape with water containing 1 or 2 drops of neutral detergent. Then, using the special Gauge, I attached the 4 tapes. After the tape was attached, the heat gun was used to warm up the tape and fix it in place.
If the initial positioning and the next Tape overlap are done properly, it is not a difficult task.
Durability and fading are unknown due to the short period of wear, but price-wise, Solid Collar should be a little cheaper.

Basically, they are MUST dress-up parts.
[How is it used?
The new car is a must-have dress-up part when purchasing a new car, because it can be dress-up at a low cost.
The footwear looks tighter and can be reupholstered in another color if you get tired of it.
There is no effect on the run itself.
Was the one you received as per Image?
YES
How was your experience with it?
Satisfied
[Points to note]
Since there is a special jig for attaching the product, it is possible to stretch the product beautifully by using the jig.
How did it compare to other products?
No problems with thickness and adhesiveness

It's solid
Up to now, I had applied MDF Lime green and 10mm rim stripe on the wheel painted black, but now I have replaced the rear wheel with a ZRX1200R one, so I purchased the same MDF rim stripe and reapplied it on the front.
I thought that if I was going to replace it, I would use Makeover, so this time I decided to use a thinner one, 6mm and 4mm, and I thought the thickness should be 6mm and the color should be different, but in the end, I chose 6mm Lime green as the same color because the other colors did not feel right to me at all. I chose the same color, Lime green, 6mm.
First of all, after removing the Tape that had been attached, I felt that the Rim stripe on the MDF is a no-mistake thing. The MDF rim stripe is very firmly attached to the tape. It is not difficult to peel off, in fact, it was easy to peel off without breaking off in the middle, but unless you try to peel it off intentionally or accidentally, it does not seem to come off naturally. For a cheap rim stripe review, see It's peeling off." etc., but this does not seem to be the case with this Rim stripe.
As for the application process, I believe it can be done with the wheel attached to the car body, but I did the work with the Timing with the Wheel removed. I did the work with the Timing wheel removed. I cut out the backing paper for each tape, degreased the rim of the Wheel, sprayed water lightly on the rim with a mist, and started pasting. When pasting, hold the tape so that the Start position does not move, and trace the tape with the belly of the finger of the opposite hand so that the water drains from the adhesive surface. Finally, warm the Tape with a dryer to make it adhere to the Rim. If you pull too much when applying the tape, the finished circle will be rattled and the adhesion of the sticking part may be weakened, so be sure to adjust your strength. However, the thinner the tape becomes, the more easily it is affected when it is pulled. Also, the overlapping area should be even etc., and since there will be a gap between the tape and the rim above the overlapping area, it is important to warm the tape firmly so that it adheres to the rim. The finished product was generally as I had imagined, and I think it would have been white even if I had made it 4mm.
