【DAYTONA】Rivet Set Review

Easy to install.

On a whim, I wanted to hit Rivet on OEMSeat and bought it.
At the same time, we also assembled the Tandem belt.

Installation is as simple as drilling a 4mm hole in the Seat, inserting the Rivet from the outside, and inserting the CrimpWasher from the inside.
It probably will not come off once fitted.

I used it to replace a rusted Seat Rivet in GORILLA
Remove the old Rivet with Pliers and replace it to finish
The diameter was a little smaller than that of the NORMAL Rivet, but it did not bother me.

It's been 26 years since My Monkey came to Japan with a new car.
I'm getting tired here and there.

On the Net, I happened to find this product, and since everyone's impressions were favorable, I bought it immediately.

Work with Kan Tan!

If you remove the Seat, you can replace it with just a Gold hammer and Radio pliers.

− working procedure
(1) Remove the Seat and tap the Rivet with a Gold hammer from the inside about 10 times.
(2) When you push Rivet from the outside, the clamping Gold is floating, so you can use Radio pliers to pry the clamping Gold inward little by little. (Rivet is still held from the outside.)
(3) A new Rivet was inserted into the existing hole from the outside.
(4) Push in the new clasp Gold from the inside using your fingertips.
Push it all the way down to the base, wrapping the excess leather around the Seat!
(5) Repeat 11 places. (In the case of a '95 12 VMONKEY)
→ finished!

It looks perfect, it's Polished!

Well, it's a world of self-satisfaction.
