【POSH】engine guard Review
Chosen by Cospa.
It is not noticeable with the backdrop, but it is not curvy and floats a little, so it may not be suitable for those who are concerned about it.
ScrewQuantity for installation:Easy to attach by simply removing 2pcs.
If you can avoid the cost of repairing a broken Radiator for $7,700 and not being able to run on your own, it's a small price to pay.

Purchased for protection in the event of a fall
I bought it in case of emergency.
However, the product I received was scratched and the plating was peeling, so I contacted the manufacturer directly to have it replaced.
I ended up removing it because I was worried that I would not be able to remove the Crankcase Bolt in the event of a fall.

having an effect
The GuardBody had been scraped to about half its thickness on the lower part, but there was no damage to the EngineBody thanks to the Guard being installed. View detail
I recommend it!
I bought it for when I was standing up and stumbling.
To install, simply remove the Bolt from the bottom of the Engine, install the Guard, and tighten with the Bolt and collar from Included Parts:.
The work itself is easy, so even beginners with tools should have no problem.
Then, after a while, he unexpectedly stood up and stumbled.
The result was that this protected the Engine with flying colors.
Naturally, there are scratches on the Guard, but the Engine is intact.
I am really glad I installed it.
Originally it had Red color on it, but was replaced with Gold color when it was scratched.
The price is not cheap, but considering the high price, it is not expensive (personally).
It can be used in combination with the Engine Guard, which is a type that is attached to the frame, so if both are attached, it is a good idea to combine protection and dress-up.
For those who have not yet installed it, we highly recommend it.

Before you get upset...
I installed these on a 2017 GSX1300RHayabusa.
important item
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
The Engine Guard itself has quite a bit of Edge, so I was disappointed that the vibration of the Engine would probably scratch the Cover.
It would have been nice to have a little more Space or some kind of buffer material such as Urethane instead of a pita position.
In my case, once the curing Tape is pasted on the part where it is likely to contact.
Also, to be honest, I'm not sure if this would be a good engine guard in case of a fall.
The thing itself is fixed with a few screws of about 6mm, so I have the impression that it could easily break.
It's just a question of whether you can guard against scratches to the Engine when you take it down slowly. This is the degree.
Do you have any wishes or improvements you would like to make for the Manufacturer?
As mentioned above, I would like you to include thethaneTape for attaching to the part that interferes with the body, or add a spacer.
[Do you have any products to compare it to?

What about DURACON? But I thought POSH is better in terms of texture and price, so I bought it.
However, DURACON might have been a better choice for the above reasons.
