【HONDA】Immobilizer Alarm Review
Fits: HONDA MONKEY125, HONDA DAX 125, HONDA Monkey 125, HONDA Monkey 125
OEMImmobilizer
ImmobilizerAlarm from HondaOEM.
It had been on since I bought it used.
It seems to respond to angles and vibrations, so it will go off if the vehicle is straightened while it is on. The volume is quite loud, and if you are not careful, you can hear the alarm. Yikes." The volume is so loud that you would think, "Oh my God, what's that?
I can't help it, it's a relief and TradeOff, but I can't tell you how many times I've forgotten it's on and it's triggered the alarm...
It is linked to Ignition and automatically turns On when the Engine is normally turned off.
The way to disarm it is to turn off the Engine once and then do 00 (for security reasons, I will not mention this part), but it is a hassle if I may say so.
I used it on my CBR929RR. At that time, SS was large enough to fit under Seat, and there seemed to be little space problem to install it.
However, if ETC or car navigation system is installed on a modern motorcycle, it may be necessary to find a better location for installation.

I installed it just in case.
It is better than nothing. Installation was quite troublesome. View detail
Good oem immobilizer, but..
This is only compatible with cbr250rr Japan version as only Japan bike have the 6P & 2P accesory connector from the main harness. Installation manual is also not available even after i scanned the barcode to go to Honda manual website. I had to find the manual at Japanese forums. I recreated the accesory connector to install this based on a Japanese bike wiring diagram; but it did not work as intended. End up uninstalling the unit. View detail
Buy peace of mind even if you have to pay Gold!
It's OEM, so it's solidly built, no malfunctions.
It rings when you need it.
I was parked in the parking lot of a shopping mall when I returned from shopping and a stranger was standing in front of my Motorcycle.
first tone I didn't know you had Alarm on your phone. I was told
I don't know what kind of person he/she is, but I thought it would be a good preventive measure to prevent pranks etc.
In the case of REBEL, installation is probably easier, but if you are a beginner in maintenance, I think it would be safer to ask a store to install it for you.

THE OEM
It was installed to prevent mischief.
I don't feel the effects yet, but I feel like I've purchased peace of mind.

To raise the level of Security function
I put it by the measures against theft of Prank and Parts because I spent almost three figures million yen only for Parts.
As you said, setting up/unsetting the system is a bit of a hassle, but on the flip side, I wonder if the hassle makes it harder to steal or prank? I thought so.
However, I think it would have been better for convenience if it had been ON/OFF instead of switching between AlarmMODE, ImmobilizerMODE and Disable.
