Fitted on a JC75 Grom. It's a must have if you ride in summer too.
My Grom is a Normal engine, but when I buzz it in the summer, the oil temperature exceeds 130 degrees Celsius.
The oil temperature rose even after running uphill endlessly on a gentle uphill.
We thought this was not good for the engine, so we installed this oil cooler.
Since it is necessary to take out the oil, we also installed the company's Clutch cover.
Since it is a type that is attached on top of the Head, I was instructed to remove the Air Cleaner BOX when installing it, but I worked on it as it was because it was troublesome, and this was a Large failure.
The Bolt that attaches to the Head did not fit and I struggled with it for a Small hour or so. It was faster to remove the Air Cleaner BOX according to the instruction manual.
Also, be careful not to over-tighten the bolt that holds the body in place; the female side is made of aluminum and can easily damage the screw holes.
To prevent over cool in winter, I also installed Mukawa's Thermostat, which blocks the path to the oil cooler when the temperature is below 70°C. Now I can ride safely in winter.
And as for the effect, the oil temperature remained stable at around 100°C while driving on level ground, even in 35°C temperatures.
The temperature rose to just under 110°C during the ascent of the pass, but this was probably the harshest condition we had all year.
Compared to before installation, the oil temperature seems to have dropped by almost 15°C.
This time, the oil pump was also replaced with one from Mukawa, so it is thought that the oil temperature could be lowered by a combination of techniques.
This is a Recommendation for both Normal and Tuning engines.

Works good
Looks awesome, didn't work with the Kitaco neo, it makes it too close to the fender and it hit the cooler, I recomend the high mount for this, the rubber bushings also don't last very long, they are too small, View detail
5 Row Super Oil Cooler Kit from Kitaco
* About quality and texture, Large 5 row highly efficient aluminium oil cooler, anodized aluminium banjo bolts and fitting, nylon braided oil hose and machined aluminium tappet covers with mounting bracket. * About the feeling of use, I must say the 5 row oil cooler does look very impressive fitted to the Grom and for my current level of engine modifications is too large, the 3 row oil cooler would have been better suited to my high compression 125cc piston. * Products to buy together, The Kitaco super oil pump would be wise to purchase along side the oil cooler kit to assist with the additional burden that oil circulation will now be under. * Difficulty of installation, The install is as simple as swapping the tappet covers, mounting up the oil cooler, cutting the oil hoses to your required length and securing them with the banjo hardware. The process was completed in 40 minutes with no difficultly. * Cost performance and comparison with other products, Best value for the biggest highly efficient oil cooler kit available here on Webike specifically for the Grom. It could only be better if the kit included a stone guard like the more expensive kits from SP Takegawa. * About shipping and packaging, I am happy to wait 8 weeks on average for my parts to arrive in Sydney Australia via Webike's sea freight which comes with tracking and insurance so I know I'm covered in case something was to go wrong but with there outstanding bubble wrapping and boxing there have been no problems. * Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing, Due to the positioning of this oil cooler kit, adding a stone guard to you list of additional items to purchase is advised. Engine overhaul
Because it is 50cc, I thought it was not necessary, but I put High Camshaft in the high compression Piston, and use it for prevention because I use a variety of high rotation, and it cools well in summer, and I am Large satisfaction. View detail
Cooling is best!
The Engine has a "Air-cooled. When "Water-cooled. Everyone knows that the GROM uses the wind and natural heat dissipation to cool the heat in the Engine. "Air-cooled. When you change the Cam and Engine Displacement VolumeUp to the GROM engine, the power of the engine rises, but there is a limit to how much heat the engine can be cooled by the wind. This is when the Oil cooler comes into play.
What made you decide to buy?
The amount of heat emitted by the engine, which was converted from 125cc OEM to 181cc with the replacement of the head, is Abnormal? I think it will go up as much as you think. That's because we could get more power than OEM by changing the heads, increasing the bore diameter and raising the compression ratio.
My GROM, which has a limit to cooling the heat emitted by obtaining more power than the OEM, has a heat dissipation of 400cc class. Super oil cooler [5-stage] You have selected the
How was your experience with it?
The price of the engine that was high-tuned by head replacement and Bore up emits more heat than the OEM. The 5-stage condenser purchased boasts the amount of heat dissipation of 400ccClass, and prevents overheat, seizure, and others from breaking. The OEMAir cleaner is installed in the OEM air cleaner position, where the shroud shape is designed to guide the airflow, ensuring that the airflow hits the condenser and removes the heat from the hot engine oil. I installed the Thermostat in November, and I don't have to worry about overcooling because I also installed the Thermostat.
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
KITACO is a long-established 4MINI product. The construction of the Core is solid and the Parts accuracy is excellent.
Do you have any wishes or improvements you would like to make for the Manufacturer?
To prevent damage to Condenser Cores and crushed cores caused by small stones etc. while driving, it would be better to have a protective cover.
[Do you have any products to compare it to?
Compact cool kit made by Takekawa
[Was the Instruction Manual easy to understand?
If you compare KITACO's Instruction Manual and Takekawa's Instruction Manual, KITACO is easier to read and understand if you are familiar with the maintenance, but beginners may find it a little difficult. Before work, you should do your preliminary research carefully and read the Instruction Manual thoroughly.
【Please tell me the installation point and hang】
When installing CondenserCore I got so caught up in the work that I crushed the Core and... The smashing, the crushing... It is recommended that you attach a stepped ball to the cores to prevent the cores from being crushed.
After finishing the installation of the oil cooler, you need to add engine oil to the oil cooler to increase the amount of oil cooler. It is possible to put Engine oil in the Crankcase like normal oil replacement, but I added 150cc of Engine oil to the Oil cooler condenser which I assembled temporarily. After that, when the Engine is applied and the Thermostat reaches the regulated temperature, Engine oil starts to flow from the Crankcase to the Oil cooler. After the head temperature exceeds 100 degrees, the entire Oil cooler core becomes hot. The air release of the Oil cooler is now done! Confirm that there is no oil leak and the work is done. After the installation, it should be confirmed that there is no oil leak after running several times.

Oil cooler removal from KITACO:Clutch cover or cylinder, but Oil cooler removal of My GROM uses Clutch cover made in Takekawa. Why I used the Takekawa Clutch cover ... I want to introduce it in another Impression. Finally, My GROM Custom is coming to the end of its run. There is only one thing left to do.
