Radiator core guard
We have used this manufacturer's products in our previous vehicles, so we chose them again this time.
Installation is also easy as it is hooked on top and tightened together with the Cover.

High precision, high quality ... high price
As one would expect from the high price, the construction is very good.
I thought it was not appropriate for the SV650, which has a low body price, but Material:This one from Stainless Steel is very satisfactory.

It's still better to have it.
I bought it for CB1000R because it is a standard item and I have used it on my previous BANDIT and the quality is good.
The installation procedure is not particularly difficult if you follow the Instruction Manual.
However, there is a point where it is a little difficult to put it on because of the precision of the design. (I think it's an individual vehicle difference)
One thing to note about the CB1000R is that the Quantity:Pair (for Left and Right) Radiator Shroud should be removed before working on the
When removing the small 8mm head bolt on the top that holds the radiator in place, if you are not careful, the bolt will be tightened with a lot of torque, and if you are careless or careless, the tool will hit the fork. High price but high satisfaction.
I installed it on a 2023 Ninja 400.
While there are similar products for the purpose of protecting Radiator, we chose this one with a good product description and no unnecessary decoration.
There were five colors for Emblem, and I had a hard time deciding, but I chose Green to match the color of the car body.
The Instruction Manual for installation is minimal, but I think the only thing to pay attention to is the orientation of the clip-shaped parts that fit into the Radiator.
The Instruction Manual and the installation process on the Internet show that the cowl should be removed and installed, but the installation could be done without removing the cowl.
However, it is quite difficult to install the hexagonal bolt without removing the cowl. If you do not use a hexagonal wrench with long legs, the upper bolt will not turn well because the wrench will get caught in the cowl.
If you have the time and space to do the work, we recommend removing and installing Cowl.
I used the wrench that came with the for Motorcycle multifunction tool, straightened it out to turn the bolt, and used a regular L-shaped wrench for the final tightening.
I was worried that the cooling efficiency would drop in the large size, but it does not seem to have deteriorated that much.
The water temperature gauge rises in traffic, but the difference from when it is not installed is almost imperceptible, and once the car starts running, the water temperature drops properly. At least in normal city driving and touring, the decrease in cooling efficiency is not a concern, but we will see what happens in the middle of summer.
I looked in after driving on the highway and found insects on the Guard.
So the Guard effect was strong.
It is expensive and not located in a conspicuous place, so it is not so effective as a dress-up effect. However, Radiator does guard you properly and you will be satisfied with the quality parts. I recommend it as a practical and invisible fashion.

Silver Color Best Match
I chose Silver color to match with CB1000R's Aluminum color. I was worried about Black color, but I am happy to choose Silver color. As for the protection performance, I think there is enough protection against stepping stones because the middle is fine grained. Also, it is rough at both ends, so cooling performance is not a problem. (As for the performance side, I think that it changes by the way of running, please take it as a reference * It is the impression when using Touring) View detail
