【GOLDMEDAL】slash guard Review
Fits: HONDA NC700X, HONDA NC700S, HONDA NC750X, HONDA NC750S
It was exactly what I expected
The installation is pretty large, and the Right Side matches perfectly without any modification But the Left Side is the uppermost (Part f of the Instruction Manual) Because the hole in the "g" is about 2mm below the hole, it was reopened by Drill and it somehow fit Moreover, because it is difficult to understand the part of "g" in the photograph of the Instruction Manual, it is difficult to understand the part of "g" more Isn't a Large picture a better option?

Mounting holes were slightly misaligned. View detail
Installation may be difficult if you don't have the right tools.
Mounted on GK79AImpulse
The Instruction Manual is simple but easy to understand.
One of the Bolts to be removed for installation was a Large one because it was an Engine Mount.
Due to the age of the machine, the bolt did not turn, and we managed to remove the bolt using a raspene from Wakos and an impact wrench.
I closed the bolt on the Engine Mount with a Torque wrench while reading the Service Manual.
Since installation and removal are both large and odd, we recommend that those who do not have all the necessary tools to install and remove the unit should contact a shop for help.
The looks are recommendation for those who want to create volume around the Engine. As for effectiveness and protection, I gave it 3 stars because I just installed it.

Appearance of Yalu
I don't know about the performance thing because I haven't mocked it up yet….
As for the installation, I think it is one of the easiest ones, although it is with HORNET250….
If you are somewhat familiar with Motorcycle maintenance, you will probably be surprised to find that the work is completed with aplomb if you work with a lot of enthusiasm.
The holes were perfectly aligned, so there was no need to do any large-width processing, as is the case with overseas products.
I was surprised that the instruction manual was quite simple and handwritten, but I think anyone can understand the installation method if they study it before installation.
The gap between the right side and the bottom of the side plate is too narrow to fit in a normal installation, but if you simply loosen the nut that holds the side plate in place, the gap will widen and you can install the side plate without difficulty.
However, it is tightened with a considerable Torque and may be difficult to loosen without an Impact wrenchetc.
I recommend it because it looks pretty much like a yalu spec. but …… hmmm… it's not cheap….

It's lighter than I thought and it's fine.
I installed it on the NC750X and rode it for about a year. First of all, the finish is good and it's worth the price. There was no hindrance to the legs in relation to the landing during the driving operation, and there was no fall experience, but even if it fell, it seemed to be protected from damage to the engine side. Installation was not too difficult for beginners with some tools. I recommend it. -------------------------------------------------- -------- I put it on the NC750X for about a year. The deadline is good and expensive. When driving operation, it did not interfere with the legs regarding the landing, and there was no evangelism experience, but even if it fell, the engine damage would definitely be protected. The mounting was not very difficult for beginners to have a tool. I recommend it. Powered by Google Translator View detail
Looks good, but dissatisfied with details
It looks good, so when I put it on, I was just about satisfied.
After getting on board, I noticed some problems.
On the Left Side, the Pipe is only halfway up, and when the foot is slightly forward, the
You will hit it on its termination. If it's just a little Turn and you put your foot out and hit it.
It only hurts, but if you fall or collide with something, you can get a bad shin.
I think there is a possibility of bumping it and injuring yourself.
Even though Touring and Circuit can have Protector from the knee down.
I don't usually do that much, so I think there is a problem.
The Left Side Pipe is only in the middle because the Bolt of EngineRear is hidden by the Cover.
It seems to be because you can't stop it from extending that far, but don't end up there, just in front of the knee.
It would have been far better if we could have bent it and brought the termination part forward.
We had no choice but to fabricate Cushion material and cover it.
Incidentally, when I fell once on the Right Side, Engine was protected without any problem, so
If you do not fall down many times, you may say that the Protect performance of the Right Side is good.
It's just that Material:It is lightweight like aluminum, but it was shaved quite a bit in one fall.
If you expect to fall many times in Gymkhana-like exercises etc., you should look for something for that.
It might be good.
