【DRC】Sprocket Adapter Review
Fits: YAMAHA Serow250, YAMAHA XG250 TRICKER, YAMAHA SEROW225 WE
The distance between Sprocket and Wheel will get closer if you put it on SEROW.
DRC Dura Rear sprocket (45T) I bought the Adapter with the SpacerDamper and put it on my SEROW250. The distance from the hub will be small if you install the Sprocket andAdapter as shown in the movie. I put the washer between the Wheel and SprocketAdapter. After the installation, it looks like the chain is straight and slightly left. Next time when I remove the Wheel, I will take off the Washer.

Without Hub damper
I purchased this product to install on my SEROW250.
The NORMAL Sprocket is Offset by Hub damper.
By using the SprocketAdapter, the Damper Offset is set and a wide range of Sprockets can be combined.
I have been wearing a XAM Sprocket carrier with an aluminum Sprocket on my SEROW for mountain activities, so I chose this one for my TwoSEROW for touring.
It's Steel's Sprocket for durability rather than weight savings.
I just installed it and it is the desired shape.
The shape of the Sprocket is more rugged than the Sample photo, so 4 stars.
It is lighter than the NORMAL, has a better Design, and is cheaper than the OEM.

Improved forward response when stirring Axel
Comparing this item with Normal sprocket, Hub damper is not present.
This allows power to be transmitted directly to the Chain. Therefore, the response delay of Axel is eliminated.

Quality!
Replaced an OEMSprocket from a SEROW250.
In the case of SEROW, when replacing the DRCDriven Sprocket, an Adapter is also required separately, so when replacing from OEM, the initial investment for the Adapter is required, making it a bit more expensive.
I was able to install it without any problems. The quality is good and I have no complaints.
Unlike the OEM, it is damperless, but I did not feel any difference in change from the OEM.

Timing of the Chain S/P ROCKET replacement was used to change the Chain from the standard 428 Size to 520 Size.
This product exists because SEROW's Sprocket is a little special, but it looks more custom than NORMAL.
There is a similar product, PCD by XAM, but since we chose SUNSTAR for the Sprocket, we somehow avoided products from competing manufacturers, and as a result, we chose DRC's product. (Process of elimination)
Perhaps XAM would be JAPAN and the quality is better than DRC. That said, I do not feel that the quality of this product is particularly inferior. I guess the point is a matter of taste. I also prefer the appearance of this one.
As for the assembly, those who have experience in replacing Sprocket should be able to work on it without any problems.
I have no problem with the accuracy of the hole position etc. without any wobble, although the quality is mentioned in ↑.
Since the OEMSprocket of SEROW is quite expensive, it is possible to use other brand products or other models (SRXetc.) which are inexpensive from the next exchange, and 520Size which has many choices of chain can be used. However, considering the replacement span, we may not be able to say that it is cost-effective.
However, it looks better now that Parenthesis has been improved.
