Genuine Yamaha Tank Pad (3 piece) for YZF-R1 2021
I have said this before and this is something every fuel tank should have on them from factory. Fortunately, no scratches to cover on this beautiful tank. No need to tempt fate so I just thought it best bet for now to get a tank pad. This will help stop any scratces and abrasions from the jacket etc. The correct tank pad was not hard to find, I just filtered the manufacturer and then model of bike and there were a couple to choose from. I deceided on the genuine Yamaha one as it will fit as it should do with it being made for this bike. The cost was not too bad actually and better than I had seen for sale locally. With a couple of other tank pads for other bikes, I had them all shipped together via EMS. EMS just do what they say and get your order to you quickly. Mine arrived 5 days after the shipping date which is perfect. The entire order was neatly packed in the box, the tank pads were all kept nice and flat so there was no distortion which could have been a problem when fitting. The tank pad came in a Yamaha packet and was neatly presented. The pad itself feels very nice and smooth but does have a bit of friction due to the materials used. Fitting was straight forward and went on without issue. As this is a 3 piece tank pad, you should really mock up the fitting beforehand so you know where it will sit once you remove the backing. Easy if you take your time. No one wants to have a constant reminder that they messed up with a wonky set. Pleased with the purchase and hopefully, this stops any future scuffs from happening with my jacket zip. Thanks Webike View detail

I have used it for almost 10 years and it has served me well.

Has the part number been changed?
I have not seen any particular note, but I assume that if you order with this part number, you will probably receive the one with the -80 suffix, and from the aggregate information on the Net, it seems that some Filters, including the -61 one, have been unified with the new part number (-80 suffix).
It is a bit of a shock to receive a different part number without any explanation, but you will be able to use it without any problem.

Purchased to better understand my car.
As expected, I cannot do the work up to engine overhaul, but it is useful for daily inspections.
It's a great read.
I was a little surprised that the current Service manual didn't explain it with pictures, but I guess Illustration is easier to read.

Only special tools can do this.
In order to revive the immobilized YamahaRZ350, I set out to overhaul it, but the Pulley remover I had on hand was not enough to get the job done. I knew the power of the special tool from my previous experience of removing a bicycle without a co-sauce, so I searched for it and found this YamahaOEM tool at a reasonable price. The feeling is that there is no rattling, and I can put a lot of power into it. However, it didn't shake, probably because it was an old motorcycle, so I applied more force with the Expander and was able to remove it safely. There was no sign of overworking the tool, and I am glad I purchased it. View detail

Along with the oil change, I replaced the Oil Filter. I can't tell if the Oil Filter is good or bad right away, but it gives me a different feeling of trust and security. When I replace it again, it will be OEM. View detail
Goggles are good to use.
Usually SHOEI and ARAI use L Size and THOR uses XL.
I bought XL but Cheek pad was too tight so I bought Cheek padXLW and installed it.
→The result is a Size/Fit feel similar to ARAI's XL.
Goggles are 100% Accuri2 (image) The Racecraft2 is delicate because the nose guard interferes with it.
With Goggles, I can hear the driving noise, and with Shield, it's nice because it's very sound insulated.
Visor is too small to be effective in city driving. Styling is more important than function.

Using Zenith:・・・・
Was the one you received as per Image?
It was exactly as shown in the Image and was well made.
I am not a cheap or bad person.
[How did you feel about the Fit?
I chose SizeFree, but it's not too large.
It can be used normally, it's just that it's only for city driving, PetitTwo should be considered as the way forward.
How was your experience with it?
The feel is good, it is light and the basic performance is TIGHTLY.
What are the specifications of the product?
Smoke Shield (sold separately) is used.
There are no other special functions, and it is Simple.
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
Nothing in particular. Frankly, I feel better because I had no expectations at all.
How did it compare to other products?
No comparison.
It was purchased for 125?, so it was a cosmetic choice.
Since my Motorcycle is a Yamaha, I inevitably chose a Yamaha product.
I think the performance is sufficient for my needs, although the Fit feeling etc. is not bad,
Overall, it is loose, so it is not suitable for long distances. It is considered to be only for short distances.
I think it is necessary and sufficient.

Fits: YAMAHA BirdCity125, YAMAHA BirdCity155, YAMAHA BirdCity125 A/C
It is easy to cover because it is a dedicated product.
Used on BirdCity125 with Rear box.
I was parked in the open air in Space facing the driveway where my house is located, and one day when I went to get in, I saw a flyer at Handlebar that said I would buy it, and I also bought it for security purposes.
I was looking for a cheaper Universal Product, but since I have a Rear Box and the BirdCity has a wide front width, I was not sure if the Universal Product would fit when I put it on, so I ended up settling for this product, which is a dedicated product. I was looking for a Rear box.
I had already used Y's Gear's E Type on another motorcycle, so I knew about the fabric to some extent, but the front side is made of fabric with color, and there are slits on the front and back that can be used to pass locks, etc. It is still a very easy-to-use cover.
Since it is for full equipment, I am assuming that a High Screen will be installed, but my BirdCity has a screen that is not that long, even though it is an Other Brand Product, so when I put it on, the screen portion is too much.
It might be OK to fasten it with a clothespin, but it would have been better if the Cover had a Velcro tape or something to fasten it shortly.
I also personally like to use a long wire lock to reduce flapping of the Cover to reduce the quantity.:Pair (for Left and Right) I was a little disappointed that the Slit through the lock on the Front side is only for the Left front wheel, although I wanted to pass the front wheel of the
Also, dust and sand may come in depending on the wind direction due to the ventilation on the side.
But still, it is better than the previous open-air parking, and it is no longer dirty every time I look at it.
As for durability, I am not sure yet, but it is easy to put on, so I think this is the one I will buy next time.

Excellent DoubleGuard in all areas.
Was the one you received as per Image?
The color and shape are as shown in the Image, but it felt surprisingly thin.
It is a Y's Gear product, but there is no noticeable Logo, so I personally rate that highly as well.
I don't like the ones with the large manufacturer logo on the back.
[How did you feel about the Fit?
I am 181cm tall and weigh just under 70km and purchased a 3L, which is slightly roomy over my regular clothes.
Rain pants can be worn with Over Pants underneath.
It is very helpful in the winter because I like to layer my clothes.
In addition, the hems are slightly longer, so they will not slip up in the riding position and get wet inside.
How was your experience with it?
Used the day after purchase as it rained immediately (slightly light rain).
It is a 30km one way commute and was very comfortable with no flooding like the previous Rain Wear.
I commute by motorcycle even in heavy rain, so I have high expectations for the water resistance in that area.
I chose the color Orange, and it has good visibility and looks good even in dimly lit rainy weather.
The rest of the DoubleGuard in various locations is excellent.
SleeveDoubleGuard, in particular, shuts out water from Gloves.
No unpleasant wetting.
WaistDoubleGuard is good because it has a good fit around the stomach and prevents flooding.
Now it's just a matter of how many years they will work hard....
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
Nothing in particular so far.
How did it compare to other products?
I have been using Rain Wear made in Thailand all this time.
After about a year and a half, the crotch area became heavily flooded and I was quite disappointed and purchased this product.
I was introduced to this product by a friend who has purchased Repeat many times, and I expect it to be durable.

parts shortage
There were no defects in the product.

It is impossible to install until the part arrives, so it is not possible to put it on.

Fits: YAMAHA YZF-R7
It is a MASTER with excellent cost performance!
[How is it used?
This will be an imprementation with 100% Circuit driving.
Was the one you received as per Image?
Yes.
As shown in the photo, it arrives in a box in Assembly condition.
Was the installation difficult?
If you are able to bleed the air out of the Brake, it is an easy category.
For workability, pull out the Fluid from the Reserver tank to the banjo bolt of the MASTER.
Next, remove the banjo bolt from the OEMMASTER, and then remove and install the MASTERBody in the reverse order.
How was your experience with it?
This time, we replaced the OEM Nisshin Radial master from YZF-R1M, and the fee rings are excellent.
The piston diameter is the same (16mm), but the lever ratio is different, making it slightly stroker. This is very effective in circuit driving, and the BrakeRelease side has a lot of Strokes, which makes control easier. I think it is better than RCSMASTER of brembo. The R7OEMMASTER is 16mm, so it is theoretically more on the Stroke side. The closest thing to a replacement Brembo master is the Racing master 16x18, but since you can get one for about half the price, this master is a very cost-effective option. Moreover, since the banjo is not located on the bottom as usual but on the side, it is highly possible to use the OEM hose. In fact, again, the Banjo bolt and Hose use the OEM as is. However, one thing to note is that brembo usually has a bolt pitch of 1.00mm, but this one has a bolt pitch of 1.25mm. Therefore, if your car is equipped with the OEM Brembo master, the pitch may not match.
[Included Parts:were they on?
There is no particular Included Parts:as it arrives in Assembly condition.
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
None
Other items that would be helpful
Installation points and hang/Availability and clarity of the Instruction Manual/Points to consider/Items to purchase/Opinions and requests to the Manufacturer
Two separate banjo bolt Gaskets are required for installation.
Others are basically Bolt On. The hose from the reservoir tank to the MASTER is a transplant from the OEM Nisshin MASTER, because the length and bending angle of the R7 hose are not the same. The hose here, as well as the banjo bolt pitch, has a different diameter nipple than a normal brembo.
Finally, if you are riding a YZF-R1/M and suffering from the OEM patched fee rings, I highly recommend this MASTER. It is the most cost-effective solution for the smallest cost and the largest effect. In other words, Demerit is Zero.

It is safe if you have it.
I feel like I would buy Motorcycle if I bought it.
Every time I bought a motorcycle, I got the Service Manual and PartsManual.
This is especially necessary for those who have older motorcycles and do their own maintenance!
A service manual would be perfect.
It is very easy to read, and the exploded view allows me to accurately trace the OEM parts number, which is very useful for ordering parts.
I feel like I bought it before Motorcycle, but … it's ok. I have already decided which Motorcycle to buy.
Oh, it has nothing to do with people who throw everything to Motorcycle shops.
More and more people don't even change the oil themselves anymore.

Quality that only an OEM can provide
Since we put a cover on the body of the car, there were many times when the Mirror got caught on the cover and tore the cover...
It was difficult to cover the Cover with the protruding Mirror.
However, it is troublesome to remove Mirror each time. 。
OEM Flexible Bracket was purchased.
I used to use another company's product and liked it because of the range of motion, but the vibration ruined it quickly in the past.
I was skeptical, but I thought OEM would be large and sturdy, and the bracket was thick and looked sturdy, so I bought the YAMAHAOEM one. 。
Flexible Bracket
Flexible Bracket is not the type that can be folded down after installation, but the type that can be rotated back and forth freely. 。
YAMAHAOEM, Y's Gear's Flexible Bracket is
There are 3 types.
A Type H:115mm×W:100mm
B Type H:100mm×W:85mm
C Type H:75mm×W:65mm
I chose C Type because I want to show Refreshing around Handlebar.
However, if the vehicle has a screen such as SS or Scooter, the bracket may interfere with the screen, and it is not suitable for vehicles such as Separate Handlebars where the vibration of the vehicle body comes directly to the bracket.
after replacement
[Good point]
◎Mirror can be rotated and folded, making it easier to cover.
It can be neatly stored in→Cover.
◎Even when parking SPACE is narrow, it is possible to narrow the width of the car as much as possible.
◎Bracket is thicker and more rigid, making it resistant to vibration and less prone to Mirror shake. ◎Bracket is thicker and more rigid, so it is resistant to vibration and does not feel the shaking of Mirror.
◎Of course, Japanese Vehicle Inspection Correspondence.
[Bad point]
◎Maybe it is the way the Bracket is made, but the Mirror is more inward-looking, so visibility is reduced. ◎Bracket construction or Mirror is more inward, so visibility will be reduced.
◎Installation and adjustment can be time-consuming due to the many moving parts (laughs).
◎They are resistant to vibration, but because of the wide range of motion, the angles will Gap slightly if left unattended. →SmallAdjust frequently.
There are good parts and bad parts.
There is no problem at all for car inspection. 。
It would be better to use it with your own fine-tuning.
There are similar products even if they are not OEM. The point to pay attention to is the thickness of the base of the bracket. The thicker the bracket, the longer it will last.

Hole saws are expensive to buy new, so if you don't have one, you should ask a Motorcycle shop for one.
