Cool in Black and Red.
The Rear was also brembo'd in the same color as the Front.
It looks and works perfectly.
At the same time as replacing the caliper, the YamahaOEMbrembo rear master cylinder was replaced.

Brembo caliper
This is a replacement from OEMCaliper.
As expected from brembo, it works well.
BridgeBolt is not so good, so I changed it to Chromoly's Plating Bolt.

Installed on GSX-R1000R
How it was replaced
I have had no problems with the OEM Caliper in terms of braking performance.
During maintenance (air bleed, Caliper cleaning, and pad replacement)
BreederValve is facing inward, making it very difficult to use.
When attaching and detaching, there is little clearance with the Wheel and care is required.
Caliper replacement was done, and no other Caliper was a candidate in terms of gold value.
Regarding Caliper installation
The Caliper itself could be installed as is without using a collar.
In my case, I used a collar to adjust the length of the bolt (5mm) because I was using a with hole bolt, and the angle of the banjo adapter and the length of the hose had to be changed because the position of the banjo bolt changed.
Brake hose and MASTER are also replaced.
MASTER has a 30mm Caliper piston.
I changed from OEM to brembo 17.
I haven't done a test run yet, so I don't know how it feels.
I am satisfied since the main purpose of the project was to improve the maintenance performance ahead of time.

As expected from brembo, it works well.
When installing on the rear, the new model Crab type Brembo has a banjo bolt on the front of the logo side, so an angled banjo adapter will cause the hose to face outward, so a straight banjo adapter is required.

Best Production Caliper ever
Installed on my 2011 GSXR 750, as these calipers were awesome on my Ducati's. No spacers or craziness with machining parts, just change to 60mm bolts, buy the pads of your choiuce and get a 17x18/20 master to go with them. No caliper out there matches these until you bump into the $1200 Brembo Billet GP-RX. View detail

BREMBO that you can trust and use

It was the perfect Caliper replacement for my XJR1200!
Since the YamahaOEMbrembo Seal for the xjr1200 is no longer available.
We decided to replace the entire Caliper.
Maybe because the Piston diameter is now OEM 34mm+30mm → 34mm+34mm
There seems to be a slight increase in Lever's Stroke required during braking.
This allows for subtle braking, even during hard braking.
The braking force was sufficient and more than the same etc. as before.
I think it looks cool enough and has the best cost performance.

Was the installation difficult?
Accuracy is absolutely no problem. As expected from brembo.
How was your experience with it?
The Image is a change from Casting, but the Control width is about 5 times wider, and the more you can grip the Image, the stronger you can apply the Brake. The more you can grip the Image, the harder you can apply the brake, and the more you can release the brake, the more controllable it is.
The weight will not be very light, about One Side90Gram.
By the way, MASTER uses Racing radial19Φx18.
Also, I think it would be better to use an external pad holder.
I gave the Piston a rub out before installation, and it clearly moves better than Casting. It was obvious, but I was impressed.
I have mentioned some disappointments, but they are more than made up for by the fact that this is a masterpiece. It is racing parts, so functionality is probably the top priority, but don't look at it as a Japanese product.

However, I would like to mention a point that may be of concern.
There were marks as if the Seal had been removed and glue remained.
The box was unpacked and stopped again with Tape.
The cutting marks were uneven. We should not expect Nisshin's appearance after all.
I think that the Japanese user is very detailed, so I think that the Japanese user should be more detailed in this area. For example, it would be nice to have a simple instruction manual, such as putting it in a new box and sealing it newly. I had no problem with that.

Cheap option to upgrade other makes and models
I fitted these to my 2007 cbr600rr they fit 330mm rotors without spacers (calipers require 2.5mm to be machined off mounts) considering the 100m stylema's are over 700usd it makes these a bang for your buck upgrade :) View detail
