Mounting Large is weird!
I installed it on a HORNET250, and the hole position etc. was Large sturdy, but I had to omit it because the Bolt length was not long enough to put the collar for the Penetrating Bolt at the bottom! I managed to attach the bolt and it was OK, but I had to use a jack to fine tune the height from under the Engine. I don't want to install it again, but once it is attached, it is a good parenthesis and it looks like it will protect the engine. View detail

Somehow better than expected.
I thought it would be a little difficult to fit the Bolt on the Right Side, but it turned out to be acceptable because I was able to make the lower bolt fit 10mm longer than the upper bolt by force. The under guard was no problem if I changed to a longer bolt on the One Side. (I removed the paint from the Tap part in advance.) The oil replacement is in the way, but there is a gap in height, so a tool may be able to fit in there. I have not tested the strength reinforcement, which was the main purpose of this project, so I'll see how it goes.
Supplemental YOSHIMURA's muffler (Down) was interference OK (Clearance about 2mm)

Design is great! How practical is it?
The quality of DirtFreak's products is unmistakable. The paint and design are both excellent. I don't want to drive on forest roads, so I don't want to have any crashing performance.
Clearance with YOSHIMURA Exhaust System, which we were worried about, was sufficient and there was no interference at all.
Installation was done with a simple push-in. The hole position was perfect.
It is almost a Fashion-like Custom, but I am personally satisfied with the way the body of the car looks tighter. It is just as I expected.

Pipe before you fall
'23 I installed it on a CB1300SB SP.
The Single Item shows that it is just a pipe bent and a plate welded to it for mounting, and although it has only two fixing points on the One Side, it seems to be solid.
When installed, the Front side is co-tightened to the Engine MountPoint, and the Rear side is secured to the Frame via a bush, which feels solid.
Although the frame is very compact, it is likely to receive force from the frame in the direction of input that would be applied in a fall from a standstill to a low-speed fall, such as a standing fall, so even with only two fixed points, there is no sense of insecurity.
I felt that the Compact design and the Matte Black color would have a small negative impact on the original design.
I also think it could be used as a mounting point for the trendy ActionCam and other applications.
It would be desirable to end up with a falling-back plan, but I felt that it would minimize the damage if something were to happen.

If you own a motorcycle, sooner or later you will probably fall over your car. Even if you are a NORMAL motorcyclist, I think you should install this Engine Guard in case of a fall.
Footpegs, crankcases, mirrors, tanks, handlebar weights, side cowls... the list goes on and on.
However, the Crankcase and Engine have a dramatically higher chance of being undamaged if tipped over (depending on how it tipped over, speed, etc.), so repair costs can be reduced, the design and large size are not obtrusive, and if the color Black is selected, Touch The design and large size are not too obtrusive, and if you choose the black color, it is easy to touch and panRepair.
If you put scratches on the crankcase, it will be difficult to match the color of the NC42 because it will probably be Silver or a darker Gun meta color. The paint will also be exposed to heat, so Touch panLevel paint is not expected to adhere well to the paint.
From the above reasons, if you are a CB400 owner, you should definitely install this product. By the way, it is not so easy to install by yourself, so please leave the installation to Motorcycle shop.
