Performance Expectations
The OEM wanted a longer Screen because it felt like the wind hitting the Helmet was swirling around my chest. Rear suspension contamination can be reduced.
The rear suspension used to get mud splashed on it when driving in the rain, etc. After installing the Inner fender, the mud splashing has been reduced. However, the Inner fender has not been able to completely protect the rear suspension from mud splashes. The top edge comes up to my eyes and bothers me a little.
I have been using Puch's Screen since the nc750x on all my cars and am comfortable with the quality. The wind tunnel tests have been done, so the effect is perfect. The wind is blowing over the helmet. The screen is also equipped with a hand guard, so the wind does not hit my hands. However, the upper edge of the screen is just above the eyes, which is annoying. No problems
I bought this fender for 400X because it does not have a rear inner fender. Since I have installed it since new, I can't compare with the condition without it, but I think it prevents dirt around the rear suspension (although it doesn't prevent it completely).
The Chain section does not EXACTLY match the Chain line, and when pressed with the finger, it touches the Chain, but it has never interfered with the Chain by shaking while running (15,000km).
There is a flat area on the front side of the Tire that collects fine sand and gravel, but this is only due to the structure.
Installation can be done easily by yourself, and even a novice mechanic should have no problem, but do not forget to check the tightness periodically as it is around the driving parts (although I never had it loose).

I drove down the road at 60~70km and felt that the wind hitting my stomach was considerably reduced. I plan to test it by driving to see how effective it will be as it will get colder from now on.

Windproof effect is moderate
I used to wear Pooch's Long Screen, but the look didn't really stick and I had to remove it.
I still wanted a little wind protection, so I bought this Short Type.
The effect is certainly there, though not as much as Long.
There may be a difference in fatigue between the two.
And in terms of design, I think it is the best among the various external screens for Z1000, and I am glad I bought it.
Installation is easy, and the ScreenBody and Bracket are well made.
If there is anyone who is not sure about this product, I would like to recommend it to them.

Have you ever felt a sense of rich volume in the upper part of the Front, but a sense of loneliness in the lower part of the Front?
Of course, I think that being Refreshing without anything is a design with a sense of lightness, but I chose this one to give an extravagant feeling to the underbelly of Small students who have been riding only Full Cowl to a certain extent.
The smoothness of the installation of such cowls is half of the difference between good and bad quality, but this pooch was easy to install due to the good dimensional accuracy of both the body and the bracket.
Now, if we look at it from a distance, we can see that it has a very good extravagant feel.
I don't feel any actual aerodynamic effect at all, but the increased volume on the underside of the car somehow created a sense of visual stability.
Items is not inexpensive, but it is a must-try for those who want a different feel for their partner.

Side Stand For prevention of sinking
The parking lot where we stopped for touring was gravel, and although the MT-09 with only the Side Stand did not fall over, it was quite unstable because the Side Stand was stuck in the gravel, so we installed it as a safety device.
I would have preferred to have it in black, but the upper plate is stainless steel, so I wondered if that would be cost-effective. I was looking at the instruction manual and found that the Illustration of the Parts was wrong as in the case of SIDEWing….
If you have seen the instruction manual, you should not read it carefully, because it will confuse you.
However, I think it is still a little expensive, perhaps because of the weak yen, so if you are likely to encounter gravel parking lots or scorching hot asphalt on your touring, you may want to consider the risk of not being able to drive due to damage to the clutch lever in case it falls over, and the cost of replacing the lever. Considering the cost of replacing the lever, I think it is a good idea to install the clutch lever as a precautionary measure.

The longer Screen provides excellent wind protection!
The bugs in the summer are also the ones that used to hit the DrumstickDrumstick on the body with OEMScreen.
Stress reduction with fewer hits!
The OEMScreen does not have the claws on the PoochScreen, and the PoochScreen does not have the claws on the OEMScreen.
Depending on how it is installed, it may resonate and freak out.

For Radiator stepping stone reduction
Whenever I take delivery of a motorcycle, the Extend Fender is the first thing I purchase.
Many wheels have a radiator behind the front wheel, and a radiator guard is installed, but I am concerned about mud splatter and pebbles from the small front fender.
Puch-made ones are just fit to the Fender shape and can be installed without any discomfort.
After removing the Fender, cleaning and degreasing the glued parts, and fixing them with the supplied double-sided tape, we drilled four holes with a drill and inserted the supplied pins.
The effect can be expected, but it is only Material:Since it is a Plastic product, I think it should be a little cheaper in terms of price.

I want to prevent stepping stones to Radiator.
The rear of the OEM Front Fender is cut short, so I feel that rainwater, mud, and flying rocks will hit the Radiator directly.
I have a Radiator guard on the RadiatorBody, but I decided to install this Extend Fender just in case.
To install, remove the OEM Front Fender, clean and degrease the bonding area with the Extend Fender, and bond with the included double-sided tape. 。
We did not want to modify the OEM Front Fender, but drilled three holes with a drill to prevent it from falling off, and secured it with the included tapping screws.
We have not driven in the rain or on roads with puddles of water, so we cannot be sure, but we think the splash to the Radiator has been reduced.
Although there are some inexpensive copy products available on the Internet, we chose Puch for its peace of mind.
There are no color variations and it is a plus ticky product, so it could be priced a little lower.

Installation and Impression
◆Motivation to purchase
I am happy with the 2022 CB1000R Black Edition, but I have two concerns.
Wind pressure is too much.
Meter is hard to see.
The running wind pressure may be Level if you are used to riding a NAKED, but it is hard for me who has been riding a Cowl car for a long time. It is tiring to drive.
The Meter is almost a full LCD Unit, but it is difficult to see when light hits the display surface. The condition with the sun on its back is the worst, and the west sun is devastating. You can't see anything at all.
We knew that Screen was the one that would solve both problems, but until now there has been nothing for the Minor change type CB1000R. We also knew that it would not come with one for pre-MyChain.
I like the design and have no choice but to buy it.

Installation
The conclusion is simple.
A hexagonal No. 3, 6, or 8 tool is all that is needed, but a hexagonal wrench will not work well with the handle. Ratchet wrench and an extension of about 10 cm are required. 27N-m and Quantity:A Torque wrench that can be set would be ideal.
The Instruction Manual is in Spanish and English version, but this is not a problem as the Illustration is easy to understand.
In the Instruction Manual, the first step is to remove the Mini Cowl from the Standard Equipment of the EUROPE Specification car, but of course my Japanese Specification car does not have one. I was nervous that I would have to use the Arm for this Mini Cowl, but I did not use it, so it was a large sturdy Arm.
I was surprised to find that the bolt on the Screen is No.6 while the Bolt on the CB1000R is No.8. I was worried that Puig might have misplaced the Bolt, but the screw diameter was the same, just the size of the large head of the Bolt was different.
The only thing to keep in mind is that the Screen must be installed with all the mounting bolts loosened, since the Arm is mounted at an angle to the side of the Motorcycle, and since the Arm is three-dimensionally bent, everything must be perfectly aligned to fit. However, this allows the Bolt to be tightened to keep the parts in place and prevent them from moving against each other, even though the Motorcycle is attached to the Arm in only two places.
Conversely, the angle of installation cannot be adjusted.
◆Impression
As for the driving wind pressure, it reduces it wonderfully. You can see it even at street speeds, and it is extremely effective Large at highway cruising speeds. I will never go back without the Screen.
Meter visibility was also effective. In situations where the sun is in the front, visibility is clearly increased. Even when the sun is on the side, the light is blocked up to the direction indicator light located at the top. (I bought the Dark smoke, but if you are more concerned about light blockage, you could choose the Black.)
However, it had no effect on the light from behind. This is because the Screen is angled to reduce wind pressure, and the distance between the Meter unit and the Screen is too large for the Meter unit.
However, I am satisfied with the Large size because the points I was concerned about could be improved in the Large size and I like the design.

Refreshing appearance and no dirt on the suspension.
I purchased this product because I was concerned about dirt on the suspension for driving in the rain.
When installing the bracket, it is recommended that the fixed bracket be attached to the fender first because there are parts where it is difficult to tighten the screws if the installation is done in accordance with the order in the Instruction Manual.
Brake hose cannot be fixed in the same way as NORMAL.
A little ingenuity is required to fix it properly.
It looks tighter and better looking.
The sass stains are gone.
