Disc Rotor replacement for REBEL
The disc rotors were also replaced when the brake pads were replaced.
I don't have any tools, so I had to bring it in to Motorcycle shop to have the pad and rotors replaced.
The work took a little over an hour, and the cost was 1,980 yen for the pad replacement and 2,970 yen for the rotor replacement, for a total of 4,950 yen.
Brake Pads are DAYTONA Golden Padχ that I have been using for a long time.
What has changed is the appearance. The OEMRotor has only a hole, but the SUNSTAR has a slit and a hole.
The inner is shaped like a Spoke for OEM, but radial for SUNSTAR.
The product is of high quality and I am satisfied with its appearance.
The performance is supposed to be better than OEM, but I didn't feel any change in Touch or Fee Ring after changing to SUNSTAR Disc Rotor, even after riding on the street with Rebel 250.

OEM compatible normal disc
Since it is made in SUNSTAR, which is safe and reliable, I have no complaints at all about its performance.
The shape is perfect, of course, and the flatness of the Gold genus machined surface, Edge treatment, etc. are perfect.
Since it is a Rear Disc, it is simply a flat plate, basically punched out by PRESS.
However, unlike inferior products that have BALI on the edge of the PRESS punched out, all end faces are machined.
Excellent quality!
I bought it as DUCATI 900SL for Rear, but actually this size is exactly the same as the disc for Yamaha of the same period.
Compared to TDM's for RearOEM, which happened to be in stock, the size is a perfect match.
In the case of YamahaOEM and DUCATIOEM, the parts that do not hit the pad are painted black (poor parenthesis), but MADE IN SUNSTAR is stainless steel all over.
I chose SUNSTAR for this reason, but some people may feel that the black coating is tighter and better, so it is your choice.
If you choose SUNSTAR, you can rest assured that there is nothing inferior to OEM.
I chose the Hole Type because I like the OEM look and feel of the Hole Type, but if you use the Slit Type, you can differentiate the Hole Type from the OEM Type.

Mounted on V-STROM 800DE
[How is it used?
Installed as front sprocket on DL1000 V-STROM800DE, replaced OEM 17T with 15T.
Was the one you received as per Image?
I was worried about the fit until I opened the package and fitted it, but it was perfect.
Was the installation difficult?
The installation itself was easy, but the 800DE has a very stiff nut that holds the Sprocket in place. (with Screw lock agent) The old Sprocket was removed using an 18V Impact Driver.
How was your experience with it?
Speed in 1st gear Idling has dropped to 13km/h→10-11km/h. I want to lower the speed a little more, so I am considering changing to 14T.

[Was there anything that disappointed you?
Not particularly
Point and hang of installation
As you can see from the service manual, the fixed nut is rigidly assembled, so be careful. It is advisable to prepare a screw lock agent for replacement and reassembly.
[Availability and clarity of the Instruction Manual
There is no Instruction Manual, but it is thought that you will not make a mistake if you refer to the original Sprocket for the reverse side.

It would also be helpful to have a lineup of Smallest Sprocket. 13, 12T, etc.

19T→20T on SR400final
Since I use the highway a lot, I have a complaint that my hands get numb from the high RPMs when cruising at 100 km/h.
Before replacement Meter reading 85km/h 4000rpm After replacement 91km/h 4000rpm
High-speed cruising became much easier.
Acceleration is naturally reduced, but this is not a problem since this is not a motorcycle that requires acceleration.
Replace Rear with 56T→51T as there is still room in Torque at 100km/h.
XAM XAM:A3207X51T
High-speed cruising is now comfortable. 100 km/h 4000 rpm.

OffLoader for touring and mountain play should have two Sprockets!
I installed 15T for long swing for touring.
For KLX250, Clearance is Limit.
A 16T made by another company also exists, but I don't think it is possible to install.
When playing in the mountains, F13T R53T Secondary reduction ratio 4.08
When touring, F15T R53T secondary reduction ratio 3.53
and FrontSprocket are used interchangeably.
With two FrontSprockets, you can do both mountain riding and touring on a single motorcycle.
It is recommended for the well-traveled TRAIL rider OffLoader who wants to enjoy both.
The FrontSprocket of the KLX250 is tightened with an Oni Torque, so those who frequently replace it will have a hard time without an electric Impactetc. tool.

Race ish look.
I installed it on my 2011 CBR1000RR and was torn between a Duralumin Sprocket and a Steel Sprocket for the 520Conversion, but I chose the RACINGSteel one because I thought it would last longer. The black color of the Sprocket without any unnecessary decorations makes the rear area look tighter, which I think is a very good parenthesis. On the other hand, it is made of steel, so I felt it is heavier than the one made of Duralumin. I feel it can be used for quite a long time if regular maintenance is not neglected. View detail
Sacrifices durability. It should be.
[How is it used?

Chain cleaning and lubrication:Performed after 500 km to 1,000 km of driving. (In the case of long-distance touring, this may not be performed for up to 3,000 km.

Second group:

Chain:RK 520X-XW Black (https://www.webike.net/sd/21113819/)
Rear Sprocket:SUNSTART Rear Sprocket Duralumin (https://www.webike.net/sd/20394294/)
Was the one you received as per Image?
The product is exactly as shown in the image.
The product is packaged in a cardboard package with a small paper Instruction ManualQuantity:Only 1 pc. was included, and there was no weird Vinyl or anything like that, so I could just send it to the waste paper collection and be done with it.
The same number of holes as the OEMSprocket, but with many holes that look like they have been cut out of the meat, and the appearance is different from the OEMSprocket in that it looks like a large hole.
Heavier and sturdier than it looks, probably due to the material.
Was the installation difficult?
Although it is not a problem of this product but a problem of the car Both Sides, the load to the Chain accompanying the replacement of the Sprocket Mounting Bolt seems to be great because the fixing method of the Sprocket Mounting Bolt is mainly to fix it using the Chain.
Attached imageQuantity:The fixing part of the nut that bites into the bolt (see 1pc. eye), the instruction to stop the nut from loosening, the 85 N-m tightening torque instruction, and the fact that the aforementioned fixing is only done by indirect means makes it very difficult to remove the nut.
When the length of the spinner handle exceeded the length used for tightening, it was possible to replace the handle without a power tool.
As long as the Nut is removed, it can be installed by simply aligning it with the groove and pushing it in.
It was also possible to tighten with a 525 Size Chain, which is different from Sprocket.
I felt that this would be a reason to further recommend a 3-point replacement of the drivetrain, since the main method of replacement would be to put a load on the Chain.
How was your experience with it?
Single body evaluation of this product is not possible due to the replacement of the front sprocket, chain, and rear sprocket only.
No impact on Meter due to the same number of pins as OEM
Although the durability deterioration caused by the Conversion is a cause for concern, we did not encounter any problems even after driving more than 30,000 km, and the teeth did not seem to have been ground off. (Although it would be a problem if the teeth were visibly worn away.
Difference of acceleration by Conversion is unknown due to lack of subtlety.
I tried to think of a reason for the difference between the OEM and the mysterious component, such as to facilitate the movement of the chain, or to provide soundproofing, but could not detect any difference.
I think it says something about a new circle, but I only use Sprocket made by SUNSTAR, so evaluation is impossible.
[Included Parts:were they on?
Instruction Manual is included, which only describes the orientation for installation by Conversion.
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
I would say that the price may have gone up quite a bit in a short period of time. At the time of purchase, I thought the price was the same as the OEM price, but when I checked today, I found that the OEM price was 3,894 yen, which is the difference between the OEM price and the Large price. As for the product, I am not at all dissatisfied or disappointed.
[Notes]
As I think it is mentioned in the Instruction Manual, if the installation direction is wrong, the flow of the Chain will be strange and possibly dangerous.
[ITEMS TO BUY TOGETHER
Chain, Rear Sprocket, Hub Damper, OEM New Nuts, Bolt Loosening Stopper, Chain Oil, Chain Cleaner
Both the body and the Included Parts:are battle-specific products that eliminate waste to the utmost limit. At the same time, it is a product that can withstand the long distance travel for touring use, and is a product that gives us a sense of trust as a manufacturer that would be our first choice for replacement.

The sound from Chain has become LARGER.
The sound from the Chain (reflected from the Tunnel, side walls, etc.) seems LARGER than my previous OEMSprocket + Enuma Chain combination.
I hear a pushing sound when I push and walk, and I am more worried than dissatisfied.
The sound of pushing and walking disappeared as the distance increased, but...
With Baron Red, Chain is cheaper, but labor costs more.
If you do it yourself, you don't need to pay for labor, but you do need to pay for some parts and tools.
TotalCost is about the same
I wonder if asking the store for a Chain/Sprocket exchange would be a better deal in Total.

When in doubt, go to SUNSTAR!
This is the first exchange.
I initially hesitated between D.I.D. and SUNSTAR, but decided to go with SUNSTAR, which I have known for a long time (this is my first Chain & Sprocket exchange).

[How is it used?
I needed to adjust the Sprocket, but I was not sure if it would be cost-effective to buy something too expensive, so I bought the Steel to try it out, even though I was not crazy about the Steel.
Was the one you received as per Image?
The quality of the product exceeded my expectations. I have been choosing Duralumin, but if it is MADE IN SUNSTAR, Steel will suffice. I am very satisfied.
How was your experience with it?
The weight difference of the Sprocket cannot be felt as long as you are driving, but the quality and build quality is very favorable. It also looks good in Matte Black.
