Perfectly sized for reduced hose size engine breathing applications
About quality and texture - The hose connector from SP Takegawa is made from a hard plastic material with a transparent white finish and the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect. About the feeling of use - The hose connector is perfectly sized for engine breathing applications where you have a regular sized hose that is required to be reduced to to a smaller hose for your small barbed hose fittings on your oil catch tank or air filter pod, which I have both of on my Honda Monkey 125 but is only to be used with air systems and not oil or fuel. Products to buy together - The hose connector does require to be firmly secured to the breather hose, the use of zip ties is not my preferred method as a permanent solution so the use of specifically sized 9.5mm and 13mm hose clamps from SP Takegawa is what I would recommend. Difficulty of installation - The installation of the hose connector is a simple task that took 0.2 of an hour to complete. Some slight mechanical aptitude and the use a basic hand tools is what is required. Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the hose connector is no different. About shipping and packaging - With there being no significant cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the hose connector, I chose EMS for a earlier arrival date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - For my location, purchasing small common use products like this from Webike Japan is the best option when combining multiple parts together if you are also taking into account the shipping cost. two-edged sword
On an uphill which is also tough for a 4-wheeler, LITTLE CUB, registered as a Class 2 moped, was able to climb the hill at 40 km/h in 2nd gear. 5 km/h faster after replacing the Air cleaner. Considering only the maximum speed, the effect is clear. (I'm running 120mm wide, bulky Rear tires, so that's the only reason I can't get the Speed up.)
However, on the flat, I lost all Punch up to the mid RPM range of 1st gear 20km/h, 2nd gear 35km/h, 3rd gear 50km/h, and on an uphill, it stalls at once from 3rd gear 60km/h. It seems like there is too much air in the low to mid RPM range and the fuel injection is not keeping up? The intake sound is so loud that it even drowns out the exhaust sound of the BEAMSExhaust system.
Nevertheless, when the engine reaches the high RPM range of 35 km/h in 2nd gear on flat terrain, the Punch becomes effective and can be used up to around 45 km/h, which is above the rev limit. In this speed range, the intake sound becomes smoother and the exhaust sound becomes louder.
3rd gear missMatch GEAR ratio and EngineTorque at all speeds. (Adverse effects of RSprocket exchange) On a gentle uphill, the engine stalls even at 40 km/h in the middle RPM range, where Torque is supposed to be, and finally exceeds the Rev limit of 60 km/h on a long flat or downhill slope. At this time, there is no engine punch, but the engine noise peculiar to high rpm is heard, which is not good for both mental health and the engine.
In case of rain, a MINIBucket bought at a 100-yen store is covered to prevent raindrops from entering the intake air. (Lol)

If you can install it correctly, with all the amenities.
Overall, it's awesome if you have the right dynotuner, stage 1 upgrades. Unfortunately, where I'm living has a bunch a monkey wrenches looking for the booku and trying to take advantage. Would like to learn how to work on my own bike, (no time) but yeah it's really fantastic, it was good for a time until I was overly eager to keep upgrading. I had it plugged on a Honda Future 125fi, which is mostly the same engine as the Monkey or Grom. View detail

About the feeling of use - The oil filter cover is a very special product with it's design that integrated into the SP Takegawa clutch cover to add yet another feature to their clutch cover work to help with engine longevity by removing unwanted metal from the oil. Products to buy together - A key product to buy together with the oil filter cover is the SP Takegawa clutch cover that will allow for the fittment and use of the oil filter cover that it is specifically designed for. Difficulty of installation - The installation of the oil filter cover is a simple task that took 0.2 of an hour to complete. Common sense and the use of basic hand tools is all that is required to secure the oil filter cover to the clutch cover. Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the oil filter cover is no different. The design of this oil filter cover with it's two built-in magnets is what sets it apart from the others. About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the oil filter cover, I chose EMS for a earlier arrival date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - For my location, purchasing specialty products like this from Webike Japan is the only option. There are a few local stores selling parts for the Monkey 125 but the range is very basic. View detail

Takegawa do it again, top quality great engineering.
Top Quality parts, but most of all well engineered to create a cohesive outcome, there are many options out there but this piston from Takegawa maintains a great combustion chamber shape with the stock head, and includes a relief for the spark plug (so no spark plug spacer required). The result is a engine that runs as good as OEM Honda but has just a bit more go everywhere. In my specific kit the piston rings were mostly ok to go out of the box, If I was being picky I'd say the top ring was a tiny bit tight and the second ring was a tiny bit loose, the oil rings were perfect. As a result I opened up the top ring from 0.009" to 0.01" only becuase its going into a CT125 which naturally runs hot vs GROM/Monkey. But I think I could have run the rings out of the box and probably had zero issues. I also like that the piston is 4 grams lighter than the stock piston, this means the motor runs very smooth with little vibration. The N-15 cam is perfect for a OEM plus feeling, I've tried a range more agressive cams and the bottom end always suffers, in my opinion that does not suit the charater of the CT125 however, this N-15 cam is perfect for the CT125 imo. I like this kit so much I'm considering buying a second to keep in stock as nothing lasts forever. View detail
Not only serves the purpose of collecting engine oil but also fills the space left when installing a low mount exhaust
About quality and texture - The 550cc oil catch tank from SP Takegawa is made from aluminium with neatly rolled edges, aluminium TIG welds on the barbed hose fittings and mounting bracket and a raw surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect. About the feeling of use - The 550cc oil catch tank not only serves the purpose of collecting engine oil but also fills the space left when installing a low mount exhaust on the Monkey 125. Products to buy together - A key product to buy together with the 550cc oil catch tank is the oil filler breather cap that will allow for the connection of the oil catch tank to the engine for an engine oil return path. Difficulty of installation - The installation of the 550cc oil catch tank is a simple task that took 0.5 of an hour to complete. Some slight mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to mount the oil catch tank to an available frame tab, in an open and elevated position. Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the 550cc oil catch tank is no different. A huge size for engine breathing applications but perfect when...
About quality and texture - The 12mm breather hose from SP Takegawa is made from a soft rubber material with reinforced strands featuring a clear finish and the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect. About the feeling of use - The 12mm breather hose is a huge size for engine breathing applications but perfect when you are using the oil filler breather cap on your clutch cover and the large barbed hose fitting on your oil catch tank or air filter pod, which I have both of on my Honda Monkey 125 but is only to be used with air systems and not oil or fuel. Products to buy together - The 12mm breather hose does require to be firmly secured to the hose fitting, the use of zip ties is not my preferred method as a permanent solution so the use of specifically sized 15.5mm hose clamps from SP Takegawa is what I would recommend. Difficulty of installation - The installation of the 12mm breather hose is a simple task that took 0.5 of an hour to complete. Some slight mechanical aptitude and the use of a measuring device, cutting tool and sandpaper to neatly finish the hose ends off is how I like to carry out the task for my breather hose fitment. Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the 12mm breather hose is no different. A reasonable quantity of 1m with no lapse in quality. About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the 12mm breather hose, I choose EMS for a earlier arrival date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box. Has resolved my engine oil loss caused from high RPM riding
About quality and texture - The 420cc oil catch tank from SP Takegawa is made from aluminium with neat aluminium TIG welds and a polished surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect. About the feeling of use - The 420cc oil catch tank has resolved my engine oil loss caused from high RPM riding by capturing the oil vapour generated during this period of riding and re-directing it back to the crankcase via the larger 12mm barbed hose fitting. Products to buy together - A key product to buy together with the 420cc oil catch tank is the oil filler breather cap that will allow for the connection of the oil catch tank to the engine for an engine oil return path. Perfectly sized hose for engine breathing applications only
About quality and texture - The 5mm breather hose from SP Takegawa is made from a soft rubber material with no reinforced strands but with a black finish and the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect. About the feeling of use - The 5mm breather hose is perfectly sized for engine breathing applications where you have quite a small barbed hose fitting on your oil catch tank or air filter pod, which I have both of on my Honda Monkey 125 but is only to be used with air systems and not oil or fuel. Products to buy together - The 5mm breather hose does require to be firmly secured to the hose fitting, the use of zip ties is not my preferred method as a permanent solution so the use of specifically sized 9.5mm hose clamps from SP Takegawa is what I would recommend. Love the incorporated stone guard and compact nature of the 3 fin 4 oil line oi cooler
About quality and texture, I can confirm that the quality is great and that the material used is aluminum for the oil cooler with a mixture of silver painted finishes and a blue anodized coating. About the feeling of use, Love the incorporated stone guard and compact nature of the 3 fin 4 oil line oi cooler. By far the best designed and strongest construction oil cooler for the Honda Grom. Products to buy together, Since you are looking to maximize cooling of the engine then the addition of cooling finned covers for the cam cover and valve covers would be ideal to also have in your cart. Difficulty of installation, I can say the fitment of the oil cooler for my installation was easy due to the mounting points incorporated into the upper cross brace that allow for the addition of brackets to attach the oil cooler to the motorcycle very simple. Cost performance and comparison with other products, The pricing of the product is great. You receive an oil cooler that has a superior design and construction for only a small price increase over the introductory priced oil cooler. About shipping and packaging, My order was shipped within 24 hours of the product being in stock and I received a few emails advising me of the status up until the order was dispatched. The order arrived within the estimated date range and was extremely well packaged. I found the link supplied to track my order very useful while I was waiting for the order to land in the country. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing, I have no concerns or cautions when purchasing from Webike. I cannot recommend Webike enough for the majority of your biking needs. They not only sell aftermarket parts and bike gear but also OEM parts for your repairs and servicing needs. View detail

Good item
The filter area is much larger than the existing pure filter, so the amount of air inhaled is likely to be greater. That's why I feel like my bike has become more powerful after installing this item. View detail

Bought this as a spare for the Honda Monkey. This filter showed its best performance; I tried zero-resistance filters from other manufacturers, but with them the engine works much worse. Separately, I would like to note the high quality of workmanship, no complaints. There are no problems with installation, I recommend!!! View detail
