It is difficult to tell how effective it is.
This is a Replacement Air Filter, used on a CBR650F.
It can be used repeatedly by washing and applying Oil instead of the usual paper Type.
The intake volume is slightly higher than that of the NORMAL Filter, but its ability to remove Garbage is inferior.
However, even so, I recognize that the NORMAL performance should have a LARGE margin, so the intake volume should be increased within a safe range by cutting that amount.
Installation requires removing the Side cowl, Mid Cowl, and RearSide cowl before removing the Tank.
The air cleaner is made Tight and must be pushed in firmly so that the edge does not float.
SealGrease looks Large sturdy without application, but if you have it, you should apply it.
After the replacement, I test drove about 50 km.
I don't feel that the blow up and the sense of power have improved, but honestly, I felt that if I said it was a Brush-boat, that's all I could say.
Considering that HondaOEMAir cleaner costs a little over 2,000 yen, it would be worth it after 5 OEM replacements.
If the mileage is high and the air cleaner is changed frequently, it is possible, but if you read the description of this filter, it is stated that it is Large sturdy for about 80,000 km without modification, so if you follow that, you will not get the original cost.
I think it is possible if you want to replace the air cleaner every 6 months to a year.
Another reason I purchased the filter is that I use K&N filters in my car and can use the filter oil and cleaner.

Adjustment of carburetor is severe
The Engine sound became Large.
Difficult to adjust carburetor.
Pilot Jet remains the same.
Pilot screw was set back 1.5 turns where it was originally set back 1 turn to stabilize Idling.
Main jet and Needle are exchanged.
It is good up to about 4000 rpm, but at about 5000 rpm it starts to cough and the power drops off.
When I look at the Plug, it is White and when I adjust it to make it thicker, the Idling is not stable.
It's hard to do!

This is what I have been doing since I started riding SR400.
I honestly don't know about the effects, etc. Smithsonian.
Because there is no way to compare.

Good appearance. Performance has not yet been experienced.
I put it on a GOOSE 350.
It replaced the Air cleanerBox that was taking up Space.
If I try to remove the existing Air cleaner, I have to remove both the carburetor and the Indicator, which is a hassle.
But I changed it to this guy and Refreshing.
The intake efficiency is also increased, so the jet and needle are changed and the ignition is ready to go.
Idling is unstable, but when I give it a push, it turns smoothly. However, when I turned the Axel back on, the engine stopped.
Oh dear - another carburetor breakdown.
When I carburetorRose, I think Dust or something got in there and clogged up the Pilot.
So, I have not been able to experience it yet.

Strongest quality among Custom Air Filters
I've been using them on an FTR250 and an SR400 for about 25 years each.
If the diameter or length does not fit, I use a PVC Joint for plumbing or a Cap for a chair leg.
The carburetor and filter sides are close to the standard Size, so I can get by with what I have in Home center.
I have been using them for 25 years, but I have not used one pc. for 25 years, but several, and I remember that I have bought only 4 in total. The average distance used is about 30,000 km, and the longest one is over 50,000 km.
None of them have ever been damaged, but have been replaced because they are no longer clean enough, or because they have become noticeably deformed and unattractive. The reason for the impression that they are torn may be that they are deformed due to rough handling, hitting the legs, not using Motorcycle Covers, or being damaged by Brush or other means due to too frequent maintenance (←common).
Basically, it should be terribly durable and reliable.
With similar products from other companies, there are many problems such as the rubber of the joint part falling apart, the filter part collapsing, the cap coming off, and not being able to be regenerated, but K&N has none of these problems. Well, if you think about it normally, if the parts that inhale break, the worst thing that can happen is that they get into the port and break the Engine in an instant, so this level of reliability should be there.
The behavior in the rain is also exceptional, and if properly cared for and the right amount of oil is applied, the car can be driven in normal rain.
Although there is a lot of oil to play with, it seems that even if it does get in, it will just run down.
I think that these changes depend a lot on the angle of the Filter installation, but the protection in rainy days is a perfect balance.
With other companies' products, you won't be able to run anything but UNI systems at all.
And when I applied Oil to other companies' products, thinking that K&N's strength to water is due to Oil, it clogged to the fullest (I experienced it to the point of crying and throwing it away).
K&N is totally different fundamentally because it uses Cotton with quite exquisite gap on the premise of Oil application.
In racing, it is sometimes necessary to remove oil in order to increase intake efficiency to the maximum level, but in street, it is redundant because it only weakens dust collection and makes it difficult to remove dirt.
In general, there is nothing Negative about the Filter itself at all, but if I had to say something, I would say that the Cleaner is expensive.
I used to use Ata0Point wash as a substitute, but the ingredients have changed and it no longer comes off, so I use San-Esu.
Still, it does not remove more than OEMCleaner. It might be better to remove it with San-Esu and then finish it with OEM.

High Flow Air Filter for the Grom
About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the high flow 4-ply cotton gauze air filter while being able to continue to use the Honda airbox. About the feeling of use: Has increased air flow performance resulting in more responsive throttle and slightly louder intake noise that sounds great under heavy acceleration. Products to buy together: An air filter servicing kit from K&N contains the cleaner and oil would also be desirable to purchase along side this cleanable air filter that can last you a life time if serviced when needed. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about half an hour to complete, you are only removing then installing screws for the airbox cover. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are receiving a cleanable quality manufactured air filter from well renowned brand that is proven to increase performance as compared to the paper air filter from Honda. About shipping and packaging: The faster shipping options are too expensive for myself so I just have to wait for my part to arrive via sea freight. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged. * About quality and texture, A pleated cotton cleanable pod style air filter and nicely finished chrome end piece. * About the feeling of use, This air filter was used in the creation of a custom air intake for a Monkey 125. Has performed as intended and looks good while doing it. * Products to buy together, Since the K&N air filter's location allows it to be exposed to the rain, then a K&N pre-charge cover is a great idea at add for a little water resistance. * Difficulty of installation, Installation is just positioning the air filter on the intake pipe and securing down the included hose clamp. The process was completed in 2 minutes with no difficultly. * Cost performance and comparison with other products, The K&N air filter is more pricey to purchase then most pod style air filter but they do state they have a lifetime use design. It is easy and wearing is bolt on literally!! If fire is put into an engine, being cautious of secondary air, the suction noise appropriate for K&N will meet.
I also regard the pleasure in character with a carburetor vehicle as it being the real thrill of two flowers these days when some vehicles have been FI-ized.
Since it is an air filter of MONO a manufacturer reason and throughout life, I do not specially think that it is expensive.

First of all, although it is filter replacement, a rear cowl, a sheet, and a tank cover are removed, a tank is lifted, and it arrives at a filter box at last.
After exchange became touch that torque went up on the whole and rotation followed a linear to an axel.
In the case of filter replacement, it is KEIANDOENU recommendation.

With the OEMOil Filter, I needed a filter wrench, and I was somewhat k&n comfortable with it.
A Hexagon Nut is attached to the head of the filter, which can be easily installed and removed with a slotted wrench.
The price is a little high, but it is pleasant.

K&N's air cleaner reduces the intake resistance, so you can feel the power up just by putting it on. Response responds very quickly and the engine starts to blow up very well. The low RPM Torque does not drop and it is easy to drive on the street. There are many similar air cleaners out there, but the performance is totally different, so I think you should choose K&N if you are going to buy an air cleaner. If you use the special CleanerKit, you can use it semi-permanently, so I think it is very cost-effective considering its performance. View detail

It's usable as long as you don't drive on forest roads.
I bought this for use on road.
When used on forest roads, it clogs up quickly, but is not a problem on paved roads.
Intake resistance is also reduced, which is good.
It can be washed and used, so I think it is cosmetically superior in that respect.

I use a PC20carburetor on my 4MINI and I combined it with K&N's air filter.
I did not use the Filter oil that came with it.
The reason was that the Carburetor setting was about to change.
Compared to the Sponge type air filter, the intake noise during acceleration will be a little quieter.
In terms of performance, it will extend a little at high rpm.

Maintainable without replacement!
I used to use OEM air cleaner.
It's too dirty to use repeatedly.
If you want to buy and exchange to K &N!
The photo is taken before I used the new oil, washed the old oil with the Cleaner at regular maintenance, and put in the new oil.
When using K &N, the Cleaner and Oil maintenance sets are required.
I ran the cleaner once and put in some oil, but it didn't reduce it at all.
Items good for people who ride one motorcycle for a long time!
It's also economical because it can be used over and over again.
But if you're looking to switch motorcycles for a relatively short period of time, this may not be for you.
And the effect is…

Since I've changed to an external exhaust system, I'm thinking of adding the intake air as well, so I can't really tell with a single item.
But it's economical because you can use it over and over again!
