Strong and safe
Like all Daytona products, packaged securely and includes clear instructions (in Japanese) with pictures. Would've been helpful to have a little more info about where to jack the engine to support it during bolt removal, but you can figure it out. Hope I never have to use them, but I'm glad to have them! The vendor from whom we purchased Motorcycle installed it for a labor charge of 0.2h.
I contacted Daytona and they replied that they have confirmed the installation on the 2021, but have not yet confirmed the installation on the 2022.
The OEM Protector costs close to 40,000 yen, so I think it's a good deal, just in case.

Installed together with Performance damper
It was installed together with the Performance damper.
Since the SliderBody and collar can be separated, the Damper side does not use the supplied collar, but uses the KITACO Aluminum spacer for M10 OD. (A):Φ22× Thickness (B) Quantity:8mm:2pc. When set between the two, they are about the same length as the other side, and a damper can be attached with the included Slider Mounting Bolt.

Installed before breaking Tank and Engine due to a chock. I was wondering whether to buy it or not, and before regretting if I chocked. I checked and found that the ZEPHYR1100 can be installed! In addition, Quantity:Pair (for Left and Right) It's symmetrical so it looks good! I bought the OEM Nut only because I read that the OEM Nut does not fit. It is quite hard, so it would be better to have a longer Glasses Wrench. I don't like the included Sticker, so I won't put it on. View detail

It was helpful
Motorcycle was hit by a car that tried to park without looking behind while the motorcycle was parked, causing the motorcycle to fall over.
The Engine was Large sturdy because I was not riding a Motorcycle, but the Mirror BlinkerBrake Lever on the Motorcycle was damaged. The Engine was Large strong thanks to this Engine protector.
Although it is not necessary to use it, we were still able to confirm that Damage is completely different with and without Protector.

Mounted on cb400sb NC42
It was quite large and strange to press down the nut because the space was too small, although it was only to remove the bolt and put it on.
I had a hard time finding a good angle for Glasses Wrench.
It is best to think carefully before removing the Right, especially when facing it.

Results of the fall experiment
First, basic knowledge.
When the Motorcycle collapses, it is always in contact with the ground at some three points on the body. (Three points of ground contact stabilizes it.)

In either case, it will not hit the Tank unless something breaks or bends to Large width.
Also, there is an Engine Guard, so there is little chance of the vehicle becoming disabled.
Even if there is no engine guard, the crankcase and generator cover are unlikely to be damaged because the slider always enters at the three stabilization points. (The Crankcase and Generator cover will be scratched because they will make contact once before the three stabilization points including the Slider).

It doesn't have to be DAYTONA, but if you put it on, the cosmetics are enough to get you home even if you fall down.
I enjoy both Gymkhana and Circuit somewhat, so I thought about a sturdy Engine Guard (SSBetc.), but until my first fall, I thought I would try this Slider for appearance.

For those who are concerned about the length of Slider.
If the Slider is too long, it will tip over to the Tank side (upper side of the Motorcycle) using it as a fulcrum.

Probably one of those cheapest you can get but decent quality still. Crashed my bike on the right hand side, hence grabbed this pair of frame slider to replace the original R&G, looks great on my GSX S750 View detail
It was saved.
I actually fell down while driving with it on.
The motorcycle skidded forward about 5 meters, so I expected large damage, but although the Bar End, Lever, and exhaust system were scraped, the body was almost undamaged.
This Protector had cracked plastic parts and when I replaced it, I found that the bolt and collar were also bent.
However, because of this, there did not seem to be any Damage in the Frame or Bolt mountains. (I was able to install the new one on Smooth.)
I think I was able to reduce Damage quite a bit, so I was really glad to have this product on me.

I like that it's not too obvious.
When I bought a used motorcycle, it came with a MORIWAKI Skid Pad, but the previous owner was a Quantity:Pair (for Left and Right) This time, I changed to DAYTONA's engine protector because both sides of the engine had scratches.:Pair (for Left and Right) The length of the co-pad is about 10mm longer and thinner, so it is less noticeable.
It is cheaper than MORIWAKI and I am satisfied with it.
I don't want to test the effect, though (laughs).
It is best to use a jack to support the engine while installing. In my case, the exhaust system was in the way, so I removed it.
